Farmstay holiday rentals in South Dakota

This home is a family favorite!!! It was a return stay for us with grandkids. The location is perfect for all the sights and in town fun! We loved the 1880's train ride, picnic and swim at Sylvan Lake and all the Bison sightings. We fed the wild burros. All favorites from our last visit. This home is clean and so thoughtfully equipped. The beds are comfy and the kitchen perfect for meals together. We most especially enjoy coffee on the front deck, enjoying amazing views!! We will definitely be back again!

We had a glorious time in the hills staying at Joy’s little red inn. The kids enjoyed the large front yard for playing and the adults enjoyed the fire and beauty that surrounded the property. We enjoyed being close to Custer and Joy being so responsive to us. We hope she will have us back soon!

Location was perfect! You can see the badlands park right from the property. Amy and Phil were very friendly and good hosts. Even the dogs were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place and come back if I’m ever in the area.

We believe that this is the most beautiful rental we have ever visited! The furnishings and deco were very fitting for the ranch theme (aspen furniture was outstanding!). The furniture and bed were extremely comfortable. The ranch was beautiful and our view from the Aspen Room was gorgeous! We walked amongst the horses and petted them. We took a beautiful hike on the property. The weather didn’t cooperate with us to use the fire pit and hot tub but they were nice features. The rental was extremely clean and had everything that we needed for cooking breakfast and some dinners. We loved the convenience to Custer St. Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, several beautiful lakes. We travelled to Rapid City, Hill City, Keystone, Devils Tower, Badlands, Sturgis, Deadwood and Spearfish Canyon. We had a wonderful visit to the Black Hills and having such a comfortable place to stay made our trip awesome! Thank you Lee Ann!

Cabin at Green Mountain is an exceptional place in the Black Hills. The sounds of nature enhance every cup of coffee in the morning and the quiet evenings on the veranda. Mary and Mark are superb hosts and they will make sure your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to be back.

Kristin's place was full of charm and historical character. She was very accommodating and quick to respond. Plenty of space for a large group! Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was GREAT! ONLY hiccup was that there was a very unexpected high rain amount and the roads were a little sketchy. I would recommend not using gps abd visiting 1 on 1 with Cyrus on best way to get there if its raining. The place was clean and perfect for our needs. Will definitely 💯 book again!

We loved the house and the surroundings. There was enough to do and we took advantage of most of it; the hot tub, the arcade game, the fooseball table, the fire outside.

Beautifully decorated, with space for a small intimate gathering or just as easily, a larger group event. Relax outside in the countryside on the patio or enjoy friends and family in the huge well appointed kitchen. Bathrooms are well supplied with all of your needs.

The Aces and 8 cabin was quiet, beautiful and a comfortable place to stay. We loved our stay there.

We loved our stay at Gail's place. We felt right at home in the spacious, comfortable, and airy space. The well stocked kitchen made meal prep easy and the large table perfect for meals. We loved the proximity to Custer State park for hiking and exploring each day and found the bed super comfortable for a great nights sleep each night. The patio was lovely to enjoy nature, read, and star-gaze. Gail and Jeff were so kind and friendly. We were sad to leave and will plan to stay here again when we return to South Dakota!

The stay was wonderful. Lots of room to play inside and outside. It was really nice to watch the horses roam and the house was set up so everyone had privacy when they needed it. We had a couple of questions and we received immediate responses from the host! Definitely recommend it for a get away.

WOW…Beautiful unique modern designed home right in front of a Bison ranch! We absolutely loved the location and amenities and close to all the sights we wanted to see (Custer State Park, Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore). Our family was on a trip to all 50 states and came across this home that we were able to book at the last minute and same day! Host was very responsive and offered lots of suggestions and amenities! We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Loved that we could park our car in garage and unload! But being across from the Bison and able to see them early morning and late afternoon made our trip!

This is our second time staying here as we travel across country. Michelle is so great and easy to work with. She even took care of setting up an additional day along with a discount. Enjoyed the property, got to meet the baby sheep and here about the different animals they have there. Also the store there is so convenient and full of great organic selections. We'll definitely be back...🤗

Very well kept cute and cozy tiny house. It was so peaceful due to its location in the country, reminded me of home. She was very responsive when I had a question. She also sent me a fishing report knowing my husband and I were there on a fishing trip. We will definitely stay again if we go to that area on another trip.

Great place. Hard to beat the view of the South Dakota plains. Quiet and has everything you need. Alan is a great communicator & very responsive as well.

The space was perfect for our two night stay! Everything was very clean and we had what we needed to cook in the cute kitchen area. Julie is extremely friendly and helpful. She makes you feel right at home and is so welcoming. We would highly recommend this Airbnb!! Bonus-the cat, Murphy.

Megan’s place was exactly what we needed for our stay. We loved that it was a short drive to Deadwood and that we could get anywhere we needed quickly. We will definitely be staying here again!

Spacious, nicely decorated cabin. Comfy beds and linens. Private, surrounded by nature, yet very close to town. Loved having our morning coffee on the large deck watching the deer and bunnies. Would definitely stay again!

Have stayed in lots of Air BnB cabins and this was up there with the best of them. Well thought through layout with up to date luxuries and modern decor with everything you could possibly want being included but without being cluttered. Would definitely recommend this place for a couples getaway or onwards travel location.
