The Cider Apartment is inviting and accommodating. It is available from May 15 through the last Sunday in October. It is air conditioned, tastefully furnished, and has its own private deck overlooking the orchard and Cove. Hi speed WIFI. Stay for a night, a weekend, or as long as it suits you. You’ll be hard pressed to run out of things to do. Rates for either the Orchard or Cider apartment are $165.00 per night. Maine lodging sales tax is 9% ($14.85) . Pet Fee is $ 25 per night. No cats.

This is one of two, two bedroom cottages located on Rutherfords Island in South Bristol, Maine. These cottages are next to each other.Our electricity is provided by our grid tied solar array. We are a five minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean, the Damariscotta River, and John's Bay. South Bristol is a small town 14 miles from Damariscotta,where the closest grocery store is located. We are a working fishing village, and lobsters and fresh fish are readily available at the local lobster pounds.

The 1 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bathroom with laundry apartment is located at: 19 POORHOUSE COVE ROAD in South Bristol, Maine 04568. The apartment has skylights in the living room and kitchen and is located on a private property as a stand alone guest house. Close to Christmas Cove, Wawenock public/private golf course and 15 miles from scenic Damariscotta and the Pemaquid peninsula with a public white sand beach. Our waterfront is Poorhouse Cove, an estuary off of the Gulf of Maine, Atlantic Ocean.

( 16’ x 20’ square footage) Located with access to tide pools, glorious sunsets!

It is minutes away from the Town of Damariscotta, Pemaquid Beach, the Pemaquid lighthouse and many other fun and relaxing activities like: kayaking, golfing, fishing, hiking, a relaxing bicycle ride, or simply laying on the hammock while enjoying the sounds of nature and the ocean breeze. Of course there's plenty of lobster or "Lobstah" close by too. Enjoy!!
