Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Soudorgues

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

After torrential rain on arrival, Silvia greeted us warmly and with a lit fireplace! The house is superbly equipped and nickel-chromium clean, beautiful terrace, river for sunbathing and cooling off directly in the garden. Silvia and Joseph are wonderful hosts! Very attentive, very helpful, communicative and discreet at the same time. Outstanding accommodation for staying and exploring the southern Cevennes!

We had a great weekend with the family at this beautiful gite. Everything was perfect: a very beautiful location with an exceptional view, a personalized and friendly welcome, services up to our expectations: clean rooms each with its shower room, a very beautiful and large living room. Despite very dreary weather, we enjoyed the surroundings and billiards! We will return to the beautiful days to enjoy the exteriors!

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace, where the view is breathtaking. We were greeted with great kindness and very good advice for visiting the region. Agnes and her husband are very friendly and flexible. An unforgettable stay at Marie's! The house and land around simply beautiful, even in autumn and in the rain. We felt like a movie. Beautiful walks to do all around, our dog 😊 was delighted and our daughter amazed by chickens and cats. Umbrella bed provided, everything you needed in the kitchen (apart from the oil). We highly recommend visiting one of the wonderful caves in the area on a rainy day (we loved the Grotte des Demoiselles 20 minutes away), and the Vélorail for young and old when the weather is nice. Thank you so much for your hospitality in this magical place!

Great place in the center of Montpellier, spacious, very nicely decorated, with books and toys for every age (especially if you are a family with children), nice kitchen and bathroom, good beds. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive, would definitely recommend to others.

We had a great time at Julien's place. The neighborhood is quiet, close to the old town and the train station on foot. Good little restaurants nearby. The building is very quiet. The apartment is comfortable, well-equipped, well-decorated; good bedding. Contact with Julien is easy. We recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, in the beautiful main village square, right in the centre of Uzès. It was peaceful, comfortable and the apartment was bright and cozy. It had a little outdoor balcony which was a nice bonus. We were thrilled to have had the opportunity of staying in this delightful place and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. We had an unexpected break at Cinthia's. Every detail is designed for our well-being. We had a great time sharing and laughing. We discovered lots of relaxation devices that we can easily buy. We weren't able to try everything in 3 days, it's too short. We'll be back, we have to.

Second stay at Sébastien's, we are still delighted. Perfect for a baby or child, with green space, animals. For us who live in the city center, the calm did us good, the change of scenery, the barbecue on the terrace too. In short, never two without three 😊

Amaury’s place was stunning and in a great location. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was spacious and clean and it was easy to find and walk from the station. Amaury was responsive and helpful throughout. Would recommend.

My wife, eight month old daughter and I had a wonderful 7 nights stay at Nathalie’s place. As other reviews have described it’s very peaceful and the view from the terrace is second to none. We had many bbqs and the heated pool was a big plus. The house had all amenities and Nathalie was always quick and helpful to come back on any questions we had. Thank you for a great stay!

What an amazing place! It was everything we hoped for and more! Nestled in the heart of nature, the setting was absolutely serene—surrounded by trees, birdsong, and beautiful views in every direction. Everything was perfect! The house, the view, the nature, the region, the host… all of us were very extremely happy to stay at Olivier’s place.

The atmosphere there is really great. It is very quiet and feels like it is in the middle of nature. Nevertheless, the great bakery, a small supermarket and a nice restaurant are within a five-minute walk. The vintage style of the furnishings and the garden with two terraces and a pool make the stay perfect. The pool is even bigger than it looks in the pictures. Lézan is very rural but well suited as a starting point for excursions. Fabrice's tips and hints were very helpful. We felt very comfortable there and there is everything you need for a vacation. Be sure to visit the organic winemaker next door and buy wine!

This house and the surrounding grounds are amazing. This was the most impressive AirBnB we have ever stayed in. We stayed here for one week for a family gathering. It is as big (or bigger) than the pictures show. The house is beautiful and modern. The grounds are spectacular. They even have 8 small tortoises on the premises which the kids loved to feed. The pool is huge. You feel like you are on the grounds of a palace. Additionally, Najet and her husband were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay in the south of France.

Staying with Kinnari and her family in the countryside in Canaules-et-Argentières was wonderful. Quiet lovingly maintained property, beautiful pool, beautiful park-like garden, beautiful details in the apartment, on the seating area and in the garden that made the stay so relaxed. Even the mosquito spray was ready upon arrival. There is a new bike path in the area and the walks along the vineyards were accompanied by shade again and again thanks to the lush vegetation.
