Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Søndre Nordstrand

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

I loved staying at Frida’s place. Just about all of Oslo is walkable from there. The neighborhood is full of charming and colorful wooden houses. It’s close to nightlife yet very quiet. There’s a grocery store right across the street. The bed is comfy. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again. The only people I might not recommend this place for are anyone with mobility issues, as you have to climb a ladder to get to the loft bedroom, which I found completely charming.

We stayed 9 nights in the apartment and felt very comfortable. The apartment was clean and well equipped and has a central location. We did not meet the hosts in person, but they always responded quickly and were very friendly. We can recommend the apartment.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Highly recommended for a larger group. We gathered 8 people from different parts of the country for a wedding and were able to stay together as a whole family. Very pleasant and elegant accommodation. Perfectly functioning contact with the hosts.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We had an amazing stay at Camilla's place! The house was absolutely beautiful, very clean and well kept. It was even better than the photos showed. The location was perfect and we appreciated the quiet surroundings very much. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was easy and efficient and we were made to feel very welcome from the start. We can really recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing place to stay. Asmund place was perfect for our family group to attend ski races at Holmenkollen. Beautiful views. Great public transportation.

Joachim’s place is amazing! The location is only 10 minutes from downtown but you feel like you’re on an island far away. Close to the beach and the bus and the grocery store. The house has everything you need and well maintained. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect temperature. We would recommend to anyone who wants a city break.

Great apartment, great equipment, chic furnishings, loving decoration, even little things were thought of - it could not have been better! We immediately felt comfortable. I travel all the time, have stayed at hundreds of hotels and dozens of airbnbs now. This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had at any place I’ve stayed. The house was close to my friend’s place, perfectly described, very clean, and we felt like we were at our own home. To make it even better, the communication from Vilde was incredible! She was very kind, friendly, provided recommendations, waited for us to show us around, and made sure our stay was perfect. She even did the same things, like ensuring there were local treats for the kids, coffee and tea, and everything you would need if you like to cook! The entire house, including bedding and towels, were super clean. If you like to cook, this is the place for you! The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Solid place to stay as long as you are savvy with your mobile device. (Your phone is the key for entry to the complex and apartment). We really enjoyed our stay and suggest checking out Bobs while visiting Oslo. Walking distance to all the sights with great options for food right out the front door. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook a meal if that’s more your speed. The host is responsive and the apartment is clean and very modern. We’ll be back!

The stay went really well. We stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and had a great time. This place is in the middle of nature and forest. The cabin is surrounded by silence and although it is located next to the Thove house you still feel that you are also isolated due to its peace and discretion. The cabin is Insta-worthy, charming and for those who enjoy rustic interiors with history. The cabin is simple but clean and cozy, well equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with mezzanine and pais which gives a lot of nice, warm atmosphere! Everything as described on AirBnB.

We loved this place! Very homely but with all the modcons. Lovely comfortable bed. Fab kitchen and amenities. Easy to get to subway in 2 mins. Plenty of supermarkets around. Couldn’t fault it. Would highly recommend.
