Waterfront holiday rentals in Søndre Nordstrand

The apartment was modern and stylish, and at the same time cozy with a view of the garden in peaceful surroundings. It was clean and nice, and good furniture and bed. It was extra nice that the host had put out chocolate.

The location is great - newer, walkable area full of restaurants and close to the water. Inside was clean and included the travel crib and high chair we requested for our 10 month old. Staircase is steep, which was shown in the pictures, but took my 3 year old a bit to feel comfortable with it.

One of the prettiest places I have been to. Agnethe was more than welcoming. The entire naigborhood is safe and beautiful. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

We had an amazing stay at Keemy's place! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The beds were super comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the kitchen was equipped with most of the things you would need on a holiday. I especially loved the peacefulness, view from the living room window and how comfortable and homey everything felt. Keemy was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure we had everything we needed. It really felt like a home away from home. The town center and Holmlia station-with a 15 minute train to Oslo S- are within a walkable distance. This place is the perfect place for a family with a beautiful children's room and plenty of sleeping and play spaces available. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Holmlia/Oslo! Thanks Keemy!

The communication with the host is very smooth and prompt. The scenery around the accommodation is good, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus, so transportation is good, and the grocery store is close, so I highly recommend it.

Location location location... I wanted to stay in Sandvika, because my mother lived there for 20 years, so I am very familiar with the area and it feels like home. The property is in a quiet neighborhood and feels very private, yet is centrally located, and easy to walk around the area for hiking, shopping, bus/train transfers, and easy to use trains and bus to connect to anywhere quickly. We had everything we needed, and were comfy and cozy and made ourselves at home. Very comfy beds. As described, the sleeping loft has a low ceiling. My daughter is not very tall and is young and limber, and was quite happy up there, but you probably don't want someone too tall up there. Host is very responsive and clearly communicates. They live in the house next to the rental, but we never saw them in over a week, so the rental is very private. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely sunsets from the deck.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

We had a wonderful stay at the house of Alexandra. The house was very comfortable, with a lovely view over the Oslo Fjord. A balcony with a table, lounge seats and a BBQ/grill to enjoy a sunny summer evening. From the house it is easy to get to Oslo centre where there is a lot to see. Certainly worthwhile is a boat trip through Oslo Fjord! Alexandra is a great host, responds quickly to questions and has useful tips. Would definitely recommend her house to stay!

We stayed 9 nights in the apartment and felt very comfortable. The apartment was clean and well equipped and has a central location. We did not meet the hosts in person, but they always responded quickly and were very friendly. We can recommend the apartment.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

From the beginning, there was good communication via email and SMS. We were personally picked up from the train station and taken to the apartment. Great service. The apartment was huge, with a large living room and bedroom. The windows went from ceiling to floor, so it was very bright. You didn't hear anything from neighbors, you hardly met anyone. Very safe house. A downside was the non-adjustable air conditioning. After 3 days, we had gotten used to the noise (maybe we were too tired from the many museum visits and the fresh air to hear anything). Unfortunately, there was noise from outside in the summer time: the restaurant "After work" boomed with the disco basses up to the apartment. And the last night (Saturday before Pentecost) was really bad: the Akerhusfestning noise stage was set up, and from Saturday evening to Sunday morning at 5 a.m. this disco bass noise echoed over to us again. We couldn't sleep and had to get up again at half past four.....

It was really great, we just had to increase the price because instead of 2 people, 3 came. And even though there were no extra beds. Otherwise, everything was great 🙌🏽

Loved staying here! Its exactly as the photos but even better. I chose the place based on design and location and I was very pleasantly surprised with the comfort of the apartment and the neighbourhood! I would love staying again when back in Oslo! Thank you Cecilie!

The location was perfect—quiet, peaceful, and just a 3-minute walk from both the metro station and a supermarket. The host was very friendly and helpful, and we felt truly welcomed. a very tidy, modern apartment in a very convenient location in Oslo. Trams and buses were nearby which made sightseeing very easy, and it was within walking distance of Oslo Central Station. The apartment was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time in this apartment. It is located on the heights of Oslo, close to a pleasant natural environment, but perfectly connected by public transport that allows access to the center in about a quarter of an hour. The apartment is comfortable for two guests, the third bed is in a windowless room accessible through the bedroom and should be reserved for a child or occasional use. The apartment is well equipped and has plenty of convenient storage. The building has a shared rooftop terrace with lovely panoramic views of Oslo and the fjord. The hosts are friendly and helped us out very quickly and efficiently when we encountered a problem to operate an equipment that we were not used to. Thanks to them
