Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Somerford Lagoon

We stayed at Acre Lodge over the late May bank holiday and it was brilliant. The lodge is clean, well laid out and with all the amenities and equipment you need for a restful stay. The fixtures and fittings are all great quality and the hot tub is good fun. The Mason Arms is a five minute walk away and a fantastic pub for food, service and atmosphere. Janet was a great host, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

What a stunning weekend spent with the best of friends. We had a brilliant time here and the weather was superb meaning all of our time was spent around the pool. Incredibly quiet surroundings and the house was brilliantly equipped with everything you could need; we will be back without a doubt.

We’ve been staying in the Cotswolds for many years and I can honestly say that this was the best stay we’ve had! The accommodation and location was perfect and the hot tub just added to it. It was a weekend celebration for my husband’s birthday and a cake was waiting for us on arrival which was lovely. The host was very helpful and friendly and we’ll definitely be back.

A fantastic stay! The Dove Cote was stunning, looked exactly like the pictures and was spotless. The directions were clear and the property was easy to find with a very smooth self check-in process. We enjoyed walks around the farm and into Saltford - definitely recommend The Bird for a pub dinner and The Little Coffee Shop for a coffee. We absolutely loved our stay, it was the perfect few days away in the most peaceful location. Would definitely book again!

Stayed for 3 nights for a get together with old friends. Weather was lovely and so we sat straight by the lake with a beer and spit of fishing. The views are fantastic and the surroundings are beautiful. Inside the place was spotless with lots of Room even with 5 of us inside. All the amenities we required were on hand. Good WiFi meant we were all able to communicate without any issues. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Pure bliss! Walked over to the old boat house for a meal and drinks and then also walked to the Eliot arms for another great meal out. Didn’t want it to end. Would highly recommend this to either a family or group of friends. Awesome!

Great location in the middle of Castle Combe, to stay in a property with so much history was fascinating. The house was clean, everything worked, beds are very comfortable. Marlit replied promptly to our questions making everything very easy. We had a great stay.

We had a wonderful time at this house on the Lower Mill Estate. Everything was as described. It was a very well-equipped house with everything we needed for our stay with our 10 month old. Our host was very responsive when we had an issue with the hot tub and got it sorted ASAP. We would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back again.

We had a lovely time at calm waters, the house is beautiful… the pictures don’t do it justice! The best thing about the house was the rooftop that gave us somewhere to sit in the sun all day, whereas other houses in the lake only benefited from morning or afternoon sun. Beautiful place, right on the lake, with spa facilities just across the way, about 200 steps away. Spacious enough to host - we had a private chef come on one night and we facilitated family-friendly activities from the living area. Hot tub was super easy to turn on, and there were plenty of board games. Jan communicated well and shared lots of local recommendations and helpful tips. Things were labeled well throughout the place so we never had to think. I have fed back privately some minor issues privately, but on the whole, we had a fabulous stay in this spacious beautiful home in the seat of nature. Feeling thoroughly relaxed after our 3-night stay.

fabulous place, close to Bath centre with easy access to bus if required. The house is lovely building, the room is, as described, very roomy. Plenty of space in main room and a large bathroom. Philip responds very quickly to any requests. Breakfast was lovely, bread delicious. Will stay again.

This property is amazing for all ages - we celebrated a birthday here and had the best time. The property is large enough that everyone has their own space but cosy enough that you still feel “together”. The location is beautiful and we made use of the pool and the lake. Lots of stubbing places to see locally and plenty of great restaurants. Recommend!!

The perfect stay for a family of 6 adults, a toddler, and a dog! We had such a beautiful stay, (just wish we had had better weather!). The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Thanks so much again!

Really lovely lodge right by a private lake, excellent location for some beautiful walks. Had such a peaceful time relaxing.

Lovely cabin and very clean. Owen's gift of wine and chocolate was appreciated. The only slight detraction was that the trains were fairly noisy. We were there on a Monday morning though so it's unlikely that there would be as much traffic at the weekend. Overall, great stay, very happy.

Me and my partner stayed here for a birthday getaway and it was absolutely fantastic. Idyllic location, quiet and beautiful! The cabin was beautifully prepared and spotless and our host Frederica was incredibly helpful in ensuring we had the best stay possible. We will definitely be returning!

Alex's place was just perfect. Nicely tucked away for that peace and quiet, but also not too far away from places. Lacock is only 10mins drive away which is a beautiful National Trust site. Alex was very responsive to any questions/requests, we even asked for clean dishes after one day and whether we could use their BBQ and they said yes 😄 which was very nice of them. We found the sofa bed really quite comfy, and the hot tub an added bonus. There is also a lovely rattan furniture set in the garden to use. Overall, it felt secluded from the main house, was peaceful and the hosts were lovely. I would return, thank you.

We stayed the week of 26th may 2025 and I have to say the lodge itself was immaculate and clean, very spacious and comfortable. We were in need of a travel cot for our 4 month old and the quick responses and quick actions taken to get this sorted for us was amazing. The lodge had everything we needed and also was walking distance from everything such as the swimming pool, restaurant, arcades, etc. We would certainly book here again in the future, Many thanks Tyrone

The hut was beautiful and the hot tub a thankful addition. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The use of space in the hut is quirky and well furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed including some small essentials. The bed was really comfy and the bedding was lovely and fresh. The bathroom was really super clean and had towels and loo roll. The immediate surroundings were beautiful. I loved sitting on the decking with swans walking past and a gorgeous Goose family on the lake. Or chilling in the hot tub while the man fished. Plenty of pubs and restaurants around or Dominos Deliver! Very relaxing break.

We had a wonderful stay at The Nook and wished we’d booked an extra day! The secure garden was perfect for our dog, allowing me to fully relax in the outdoor tub. Check out flexibility was much appreciated. A fantastic trip - we’d love to return!

Had an amazing stay here, a lovely little cabin. The hot tub was warm and a great addition to the place. The only tiny issue was that there was no bin inside the cabin, which meant we had to go out and buy bin liners as we were using the kitchen to make dinner in the evenings. Other than that though, it was perfect!
