Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Solomons Island

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

We enjoyed our stay! Easy drive to Alexandria, Georgetown, and all DC attractions. Home was comfortable and exactly as described.

This is a beautiful waterfront property located close to everything that Lexington Park had to offer. The host has organized the apartment very neatly with lots of useful information and entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb during the GFNY cycling event in Cambridge, MD. The property was spotless and located just about a mile from the event site, which made getting to and from the race incredibly easy. The quiet neighborhood and proximity to the water provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere—perfect for unwinding before and after the event. The two-bedroom unit was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Jason was incredibly accommodating, even allowing us a late check-out to fit our event schedule, which was a huge help. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, whether for an event or just to enjoy a quiet getaway. We’ll definitely stay here again!

We rented A Little Slice of Cambridge because of the Iron Man competition held that weekend. It was convenient to the venue...and allowed to walk to the competition and nearby restaurants. Pamela was a wonderful host...communicating easily. The rental was well stocked with toiletries, dishes, pots and pans and extras. The house was comfy and the beds comfortable. An enjoyable stay...unfortunately, we weren't able to stay for more sightseeing...although I did walk down to the Lighthouse and beautiful wharf.

Our second time here! An absolutely adorable gem of an Airbnb with the nicest hosts and most beautiful garden and dock on the River! Great restaurant recommendations, super comfortable beds, and lovely living room. Perfect for families visiting the beloved St. Mary’s River.

Great place with fantastic views of the Potomac . Close to many dining options within walking distance. We went for a Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. I highly recommend.

We spent a month in this apartment while waiting for our new home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was spacious, comfortable, and an absolute pleasure to stay in. What truly made this experience exceptional was the hosts. They were beyond amazing—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with the refrigerator, they didn’t just fix it; they replaced it with a brand-new one within two days! Their kindness and efficiency made us feel incredibly valued as guests. Spending a full month here, we truly got to appreciate how well-maintained and well-equipped the apartment was. It was a perfect home away from home, and we are so grateful for the hospitality we received. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

A great stay on the river. The kitchen was well equipped and the rest of the house was comfortable. The screened in porch and access to the dock/beach/river was our favorite part. Our dogs were in HEAVEN. The location is rather remote, so recommend bringing any food you'll want as there are no close stores or restaurants.

Really enjoyed holiday get away . Place was located near water with great views. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood was quaint. The town was was pretty with water on each side with the Christmas lights at night . We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay . Would definitely book again

This was our second time staying at Kimberly’s home, and it was just as magical as we remembered. The views of the water are absolutely stunning—whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or winding down in the evening, it’s hard to look away. The location is perfect: peaceful but just a short walk to shops and restaurants. We also really appreciated the Peloton and treadmill—such a bonus for staying active during our trip. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. Already looking forward to our next visit!

The River House was phenomenal, a beautifully furnished place with large riverfront lawn and private boat launch. Exceptionally clean and well-stocked with everything you could think of for a comfy stay (fluffy towels, extra paper products, cleaning supplies, blankets, tons of pillows). Kitchen is as beautiful as the photos, and amply stocked with everything from ziplocs to pyrex to measuring cups and baking tools. The kayaks and canoe were easy to access and use. Easy place to paddle in a calm and quiet tributary. Highly recommend Lindy’s seafood a mile away. Host has compiled a guidebook with lots of local business recs and info. You will not be disappointed with a stay at this awesome retreat.

Scott and Melinda's place was perfect for a peaceful getaway for our family of 5. The water was so nice to wake up to and fall asleep hearing the water move by! The thought of all the basic needs and had everything easily accessible from fresh eggs from their chickens, a great variety of coffee pods and creamer, and all the other small needs that come up while staying in an airbnb. This was great since it is off the beaten path. If you are looking for some peaceful family time or a secluded retreat with friends, this is a perfect place!

My family and I stayed here for a week for our family vacation. We are a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of room for all of us. We barely left the house because with the beautiful view, dock, beach area, canoe, kayaks, hot tub, game room/ library, corn hole, and fire pit we all had plenty to keep us entertained. Everyone loved Mary & Shelly’s place, and it provided the perfect space for us to enjoy the river and each other’s company!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. It was fully stocked with everything I needed — from kitchen essentials to high-quality linens. The beds were super comfortable, and there were more than enough towels and washcloths for everyone. One of the standout features was the in-home gym — much more equipped than I expected, which was such a bonus! The second floor, where the bedrooms are located, felt like a private retreat, and the land surrounding the property was both aesthetically stunning and very peaceful. This home truly exceeded expectations. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

This served as a low key weekend retreat for us. We unplugged and enjoyed being in each other’s company. Being on the river, surrounded by trees and birdwatching was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well appointed so we were able to enjoy family favorite activities (cooking together and playing board games).

This place worked wonders for our family vacation. the place is very new and updated with 2 full bathrooms that were clean and spacious for beach time and baths with kids. colonial beach is a hidden gem in a historic little town that seems as though at one point was hustling and bustling but isn't quite as popular as it once was but trying to come back. if your a family looking for a uncrowded beach and some activities to do in the area then this place is great! we actually read about this place being in the heart of historic downtown. only thing we would have loved to see with this place is some outdoor patio spot at the home directly to be able to sit outside together. the location does not really have any night life during the week, not even on 4th of July. we went out at 9 pm and the bar closed at 10 pm which seemed way too early for a Thursday and holiday and being on the beach.

The photos are mirror images of the condo. The kitchen and bath are amply supplied with all the items needed, even to prepare meals if you choose. Accessibility features are a bonus when traveling with an individual with mobility issues. Locally, Portside Seafood was a welcome surprise with a delicious menu. It was the perfect place for my sister and me to have some downtime and recharge. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

After a little miscommunication on the arrival time, everything was at it should be or better. Great location, clean, responsive well worth it. Great experience and will be back regularly.

We had a great stay at Jen's place! It was very spacious and comfortable, and walkable to downtown Cambridge which had plenty of restaurants and bars to explore. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were as described. Jen was a very responsive host and helped out with all our questions. She also offered lots of local recommendations in Cambridge and the surrounding area. I'd definitely recommend Jen's place if you find yourself in Cambridge, MD :)

Brandon’s home was as beautiful as the pictures. We loved how easy it was to walk to everything in the town. The pool and rooftop patio were an added bonus. We enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen, and the house easily accommodated our group of 8. We will be back!

The perfect place to stay in downtown Cambridge! You step right out the front door to all the shops and restaurants. Beautiful space with all the amenities you could need. Jennifer has thought of everything! Wonderful and responsive host. We will definitely be back for another stay!
