Just go ahead and book it. Safety is a must for me and I felt very safe while I was here - it’s a gated community. I was here for my birthday. I mostly communication with Ilona and she is super kind & very responsive, proactive with requests, she also recommend so many places & things to do as well as a lovely agent that helped me book my activities. She sent me pastry & a beautiful cake on my birthday which was very thoughtful. Home is gorgeous, clean. Pictures don’t do justice. 10/10 experience.

Our stay was fabulous! The house is beautiful and the pool and dock were great. We had a big group and six kids with us and the house accommodated all of our needs. The casita was perfect for the family with the younger children for nap etc. All of the staff were so kind and gracious and helpful. The house was cleaned every day which is always a big treat and helpful at the beach. The pool and grounds were also attended to everyday and looked beautiful. We loved the ease of getting into the ocean from the dock — great for snorkeling. And the pool was perfect for the kids. We also loved the big outdoor dining table so we could have family meals. Marilu, Bryan, and Cristofer were all extremely responsive and helpful. We hope we can stay again sometime in the future!

The place is absolutely amazing! We felt right at home! The location is great, close to almost everything in PDC. There’s plenty of restaurants, bars, and things to do within walking distance. The apartment itself is squeaky clean and is exactly as described. The gym and the pool are a great addition as well! Last but not least, Kevin and Karen are amazing people and they were very responsive and helpful at all times! Highly recommended!

The house is beautifully decorated, great linens, fully equipped kitchen. Few steps to the sandy beach, hammocks and chaiselongues in the shade. Kerstin gave us suggestions for restaurants and activities. We really enjoyed our stay in the house and our explorations of Tulum, Koba, cenotes and local food.

Had a great stay in Casa de Coco! It was like living in a magazine. Looks just like the pictures and the private pool was awesome. It was a very relaxing space and we spent a lot of time just watching the birds and little lizards. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. It did feel a bit weird having 4 cameras around the pool space and house entrances but we only noticed it once in a while. The neighborhood looks a bit rough at first glance but it’s a nice spot with an amazing coffee shop and kombucha shop just down the road. Plus authentic taco shops and convenience stores really close as well. Everyone is really friendly here. You should book Casa de Coco!

This place was paradise I had the boys come along for a bachelor party and we had a blast!! We had no water issues and power was great the ac was on nice and cold and the pool was perfect for what we needed Antonio was a great host I will be booking again as soon as I can hopefully October

Casa Grande was a great base for my family’s Mexico vacation. It was located in a beautiful, quiet, secure neighborhood located close to downtown Playa del Carmen but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle to be relaxing. The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was nice having the pool In back so we had some privacy from neighbors. We appreciated the flexible check in and very responsive communication.

Mayra, Rodrigo, and Enrique are always the BEST! They are extremely nice people, very personable, we like them a lot, as do our kids. We have rented with them twice and will absolutely return. We are very, very pleased with them!

Villa Gaughin was amazing. The views were spectacular, the bedrooms lovely, the pool area wonderful for lounging and reading. Alberto and Cynthia attended to our every need (and made exceptional breakfasts!) and management was also very responsive and helpful. We were only 5 people so the house felt huge. Very comfortably could have accommodated more. The house was kept spotless, the kitchen is clean and attractive. Beds were comfortable. And again, the views -- from every room. The house is striking and tastefully designed. We hope to return!

What a wonderful week we just spent at Balam Ek! We truly did not want to leave. The house is centrally located in Akumal, within easy walking distance of La Buena Vida, a small convenience store, La Lunita, and the Jungle Cafe. Everything was sparkling clean and well-maintained by Leticia and Roberto, and the rooms were comfortable. The views were unbeatable, and the house was well-equipped with towels and kitchen equipment. Sun rises were especially beautiful here! If you want a sandy beach, this is not the house for you. We don’t mind an iron shore, and we swam in the ocean daily right in front of the house. Just make sure you bring water shoes because the volcanic rock is too sharp for bare feet. We would not hesitate to stay at Balam Ek again. Highly recommend!

Words do not deceive the beautiful of this villa. You feel like you're in paradise and have no worries in the world. Would definitely come back again.

If I could give this home 10 stars I would. I hosted a bachelorette party of 10 ladies here at casa jaguar and we had more than enough space everyone was comfortable and each room has a full bathroom. One thing we really appreciated about our stay here was the safety of the community with there being 2 security check points to enter. Our hosts stayed in communication with us the whole time whenever we needed anything they answered very promptly. Ricardo booked our taxis for us and even had snacks for us upon arrival due to our long commute from the airport due to a car accident on the way. Whenever I’m in playa I will always book with Cancún BNB it was a great experience and we really enjoyed our stay here.

We loved this place! We stayed for a week with grandparents and cousins —it’s super spacious, beautiful, and well located. There’s plenty to do with 4 little kids: beach, stores, dolphins, restaurants, ice cream are all nearby. Mariana (host) was always available and super helpful, made us feel super well taken care of! We would definitely go back :)

This AirBnb is so lovely! It's in a very safe, gated community and it's absolutely stunning. Josh was so responsive leading up to our stay and throughout and he had a helpful recommendation for everything! The pool was kept spotless and we had a lot of fun lounging around. The location is a short taxi ride to just about everything! We could tell that so much care was put into this home and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, spacious place to stay in Playa del Carmen.

We rented the entire home, 5 bedrooms for all ten of us. We were treated like royalty by Skip, Angel, Nora and chef Nissy whom we hired to make some delicious breakfasts for us.

This place was wonderful, and exactly as described. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. It is worth getting a Geo coordinate / pin drop for Google maps. The address is something that Google seems to struggle with, or at least it did for us. Thankfully, the host was able to help us find the residence in this way immediately upon request.

Our group of 15 had a wonderful stay at Casa Caleta! We had 8 children ages 3-12 with us, so we spent most of our time on the grounds. The pool, cenotes, and lagoon gave us plenty to explore. The housekeepers, Isidro, Israel, and Leo clearly care about the place and have managed it for over 20 years! The food was delicious and they were very accommodating. I highly recommend stocking the place with groceries and having Isidro and Isreal cook a few dinners. The breakfast service is excellent. As busy parents, we really appreciated waking up to a clean kitchen and having breakfast prepared and served on that beautiful patio. Like many other reviewers, we were under the impression at first that the house had walkable access to Half Moon Bay and Akumal town. For the protection of the lagoon and Yalku park, it does not. Transportation for a large group was expensive, but easy to arrange. We felt it was worth it to have access to such expansive, beautiful grounds. We hope to return!

I hosted my bachelorette party weekend at Louisa's and it was excellent! Loved the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms so all of us could spread out. We're in our 30s and wanted a little space from the party of the city and amenities for everyone. Easy walk into town for those who wanted to, and vans to pick us up for activities had no issue finding the place when we sent GPS pin. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! Heather had everything set up for us so we could focus on enjoying paradise. My first time on the island but it won’t be my last and hopefully I am able to stay at Heather’s place again! I highly recommend this hidden gem!

Just book it! The home is absolutely stunning. Better than the pics! Mary and Sara were angels on earth during our stay. They took care of everything we needed, and it felt really good having some1 close by for any questions that we had. Their service was out of this world, and the food was delicious and consistent. They cleaned up and made our beds daily. Top tier service- I wish I could have brought them back home with me lol. The neighborhood, Puerto Aventuras, is a bit tricky to navigate. We had some drivers find us with no problem and some who got absolutely lost. You 100% need transportation to get anywhere. A golf cart to get around inside the community and a dedicated driver to get anywhere else. I found the location to be kind of perfect because we got to experience Tulum, Playa Del Carmen, and Cancun. I would return any day! Thanks so much for a fantastic 30th birthday.
