Our stay at Jessica and Sebastian’s Airbnb in Akumal was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We hosted an approved event, and the space was more than accommodating — everyone had room to relax and enjoy. Jessica was incredibly communicative, especially with our event planner, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The on-site staff were also amazing — attentive, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. Whether you're planning a family getaway or an intimate approved event, this location is an absolute gem. We can’t thank Jessica and Sebastian enough for making our stay unforgettable. The online pictures do not do this villa justice. The villa is huge and has spectacular ocean views and ocean breeze (the sea is 50 yards away from the infinity pool). Alvaro is a wonderful, wonderful concierge who responded quickly and checked on us periodically. He also lined up a few things for us and they were top notch. Flo, the house cleaner, is phenomenal. She is amazing at what she does but knows how to work around you at the same time. The home is well equipped, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Don't let the picture of the couch fool you. I thought it looked kind of worn out, but it was one of the most comfortable couches I've ever sat in. Also, don't be fooled by no TV in the main floor living room. The views ARE your TV; you really don't need anything else. Venture outside the gates for some of the best taco's & guac you'll ever eat. Food is wonderful inside the gates as well but outside - outstanding!

What a wonderful place Vickie has created. The house is beautiful, but where it really shines is outside. Lounging in the cenote, watching the birds and lizards, giving the resident dogs some scritches - so relaxing. The main purpose of our trip was to dive cenotes, you couldn't have a better location. A couple days our dives were just minutes away. Vickie was wonderful, so kind and friendly. She was always super responsive when we had questions and gave us great tips on the local area. 10/10 will absolutely stay here again next we are in the area.

Our stay at Casa Jaybird was amazing. We spent a month here and could have easily stayed longer. The location really can't be beat - a super quiet street right off 5th Avenue and walking distance to the beach. But for being so close to all the action, the home felt so private when you were inside. Elizabeth was always responsive and quick to answer our questions, and Samuel was always so kind and happy to help with anything around the house. We have young children so we had white noise machines in all the bedrooms, so we didn't have any concerns with the noise as some reviews mention. There was some construction nearby during the day but truly nothing that really bothered us. We'll be back!

From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort throughout our stay. Their communication was clear and timely, always making sure we had all the necessary information before our arrival. I was especially impressed by how they helped me bring my vision for my best friend’s bachelorette celebration to life. From connecting me with the concierge service, “Local Bird,” to offering tips on how to set up decorations and even suggesting the perfect areas in the home for our in home group massages, and welcoming our private chef, they made every detail seamless. Every host I had the pleasure of dealing with was polite, incredibly kind, and eager to make our stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. They were always just a message or call away, and their dedication truly made our stay special. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, it was a dream come true! 🙏🏽🥹💕

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay! This was the perfect spot for a family vacation — we had 6 adults and one baby, and the house fit us all so comfortably. It was quiet, peaceful, and just steps from the beach. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better. Bruno, the property manager, went above and beyond for us — helping arrange airport transportation, grocery delivery, and making sure we had everything we needed. He made the whole trip so smooth and easy. The house itself is gorgeous. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, the bedrooms were spacious and thoughtfully laid out to give everyone privacy, and the common spaces were perfect for hanging out together. We were able to walk to most places, but getting in and out of the development can be a bit of a hike, so taxis definitely came in handy. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences ever. 100/10 — we will definitely be back! Couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

The house is large and each room with en suite bathroom. Well maintained property with everything working and in great condition. Very private pool/outdoor area that feels like you are in your own oasis. But then just 3 minutes walk on a private path and you are in a gorgeous beach with plenty of space to chill an enjoys the ocean. the house is great but Alma, the property manager, made the trip. She kept the house spotless, made us breakfast every day ( and real Mexican style breakfast and cut fruit for us). We just had to go to the grocery store to bring supplies and she prepared everything fresh every morning. Everything was setup for us to enjoy every day. She makes it feel like you are staying at a 5 star resort having everything tended to. Playa Car it’s own own separate area with great security… everyone inside has to have a bracelet to get in it be a guest. Cuts on the number of people and crowds… but the house ilia just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. SAFE

It was a very pleasant and satisfying experience, the level of care and service was very pleasant, just as a suggestion to change the stiffer pans and pillows and evaluate the possibility of allowing check out at 12 noon to be able to take more advantage of the afternoon. We thank all those who provided us with the attention and service

If you are looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay, this is a place for you! The house is located at the end of a quiet street in a beautiful neighborhood. It has easy access to the Playa Car beach which is usually less crowded than other beaches in Playa. The host provided chairs, umbrella and beach towels, making beach trips even more pleasent. Communication with the host was absolutely perfect, she even came to meet us, which we appreciated very much. The house has a great collection of books, from Mayan culture and wildlife to mystery novels to read when relaxing by the pool. Overall, this was a perfect vacation. House was beautiful and super well laid out. Big new TV, comfy couch, and all the amenities. The place was clean, bathroom soaps and shower gels, and the fresh beds were amazing with soft covers and quality sheets. Area was new, secure, quiet and Jorge kept the yard and pool spotless. We used the clubhouse, pool and gym and it was great. The only surprise was that the beach was only accessible through the gate across a very busy highway. You had to pay to access it in the times laid out. It was not the “private quiet beach club” that was advertised. The Beach front was all private, with no other accessibility. Very commercial touristy beach.

The directions are very clear, the house is identical to the photos and are very attentive to messages

We had such a wonderful stay at Daniel’s place in Cozumel. The location was absolutely perfect for us—tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but just a short walk to plenty of great little local Mexican restaurants. The house itself was very clean and well cared for, with beautiful garden spaces that made it feel like a peaceful retreat. We especially loved the pool and patio area—it was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Daniel was a responsive and thoughtful host, always quick to answer any questions. He truly has a gem of a place, and we’re so grateful he shared it with us. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Jessica’s place is super conveniently located in downtown San Miguel de Cozumel. Many restaurants were in easy walking distance. Yet, it was very quiet. For scuba divers, it’s a great place because of the large rinsing sink and loads of space to dry your stuff outside. Jessica providing many recommendations for restaurants in the area. She also arranged a diving guide for us. The apartment is spacious with a bedroom and separate open area for the kitchen, living room and dining room. It’s not fancy but it totally fits the bill after a full day of diving. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We've stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, and this might be the best we've ever stayed in. The pool, the yard, the decor, the aesthetic, the location, just everything about it was perfect. We loved it.

This might be the most beautiful Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Tranquil, secluded, and luxurious. We had plans to go kayaking but decided to just hang out at the house—it was that special!

The house is simply beautiful, it has all the amenities and tools to spend time with the family, spacious, clean and very well maintained. Ana's attentions were very good, always attentive and with good recommendations. The location is very good, nice area, the residential area is very quiet and above all safe. My description in 3 words, beautiful, safe and quiet.

We stayed at Fabiola’s place for 1 week while diving on Cozumel. The house was very spacious, the pool was lovely and refreshing, and Fabiola was helpful and accommodating. We rented one of her available cars, which was way quicker and easier than renting from an agency on the island and the car was clean and comfortable. She even gave us a ride back to the ferry!

Elizabeth’s home is beautiful, and the backyard is a sanctuary with the lovely gardening and pool. Great place to enjoy sunny days. Speedy internet too. We very much enjoyed our stay and you even get to listen to jungle sounds in the back yard.

A fantastic apartment where we spent 3 nights with my husband and parents. It was very comfortable, fully equipped with everything we needed, with cozy mattresses and spacious parking in the building. Matt was incredibly responsive and answered any questions immediately. The rooftop pool was beautiful – a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. The location exceeded our expectations: a quiet and peaceful part of the city, yet just a 10-15 minute walk to the lively streets full of restaurants and clubs. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect airbnb for our group trip. Great location, we felt safe but not “locked away” like some of the other rentals in PDC seem to be. Only thing was that Miguel’s communication was very slow, didn’t hear anything from him after check-in. We assumed that no news was good news. The cleaners were very thorough and friendly.

What a wonderful celebration we enjoyed with family and friends in separate shifts. I walked right out to the beach in the morning and swam in the warm ocean when it wasn’t too windy or void of the sorghum. Sometimes we’d swim at the public beach which was a little walk further north. I especially loved the master bedroom, falling asleep every night to the sound of the ocean right outside our back door and upper balcony. The people were helpful and friendly; beds were comfortable. We didn’t rent a car but took Collectivo bus and taxis. It’s definitely one of the best Air BBBs I’ve ever stayed at. It was clean and comfortable and I highly recommend it. We had 8 people the first week and 5 of us the second week. The store in Akumal is very expensive but the bus to Playa del Carmen was an affordable choice at the local Walmart. 🥺 I would recommend bringing a stash of alcohol. Perhaps supplying the kitchen a little more is our only critique. Loved lying outside on the beach loungers.
