Large, beautiful property with lots of charm and all of the amenities. It's the jungle and the buildings are simple, so prepare to contend with a few ( harmless ) bugs in the outdoor kitchen and in the rooms. Road to property is a bit long, narrow and rough. Internet was a bit spotty ( reportedly due to construction nearby ) but cell reception was good. Overall met my expectations and was a joy. Thanks Hiram!

All in all it was a nice place to stay. The little Bungalows are very cozy. The staff was absolute helpful and always reachable. it's not directly at a beach, but close to the main road. I would really recommend it :)

What can I say about AKNA Cabanas. This has been my third time to Cozumel and somehow Jose manages to make it better easy time. I've never had an Airbnb host so invested in making sure I am having a great experience. He was kind enough to pick us up and drop off of at the airport for free. Provided endless recommendations about local restaurants and attractions. Connected us with locals providing tours (and getting us an amazing discount just for AKNA visitors). And overall, stayed in constant contact to ensure we had everything we needed and weren't having any issues. I've now traveled to 8 different countries and stayed in countless Airbnbs, but I can say the Jose has been the best host by far. I recommend this location to all my friends and family and will definitely be coming back in the future!

We were unable to stay the full duration at Rigo's but this was not due to the host. The host was friendly and understanding of our situation which made things much less stressful due to our personal circumstances. Rigo was generous enough to offer us a complementary day if we ever visit again which we really appreciate. The location is remote but beautiful and if you're looking for a legitimate jungle experience, Rigo can offer it.

This is an amazing bungalow outside of the hustle and bustle of Cozumel! Near an amazing, upscale beach club and behind one of the best lobster places you will ever eat at! If you are looking for a quiet place to connect with the island you’ll find it here! Fernanda was very punctual and accommodating! Her space is clean and has a homey feel with a private outdoor area perfect for unwinding. The area was very safe feeling for my solo trip behind a locked gate. I will definitely be back!

Largement le meilleur hébergement du séjour tant par la magie du lieu que l hospitalité de Claire et son fils ( qui parlent francais). Claire est une personne exceptionnelle qui a une vie incroyable. Pour nous ce fut une très belle rencontre.

Może to nie jest miejsce dla wszystkich, ale dla nas było cudowne. To jest raj na ziemi i spelnienie moich marzeń o pobycie w dżungli. Codziennie masz kontakt z dzikimi zwierzętami, jak małpy, ptaki, piękne motyle, legwan. Do tego na posesji jest prywatny cenot, gdzie codziennie możesz pływać i jesteś tam tylko sam. Christiam jest wspaniałym gospodarzem. Szybko reagował na nasze potrzeby. Jest bardzo przyjazny. Przepiękna oaza z dala od turytecznego ruchu. Ale na tyle blisko od sklepów, miasteczka, restauracji i barów, że poradziliśmy sobie bez samochodu przez 3 dni. ❤️

These palapas are an amazing way to experience Cozumel! I've been to Cozumel a few times, but these palapas enabled us to explore Cozumel in a way that was a better fit for us. Palapas Cozumelitas are central enough to walk to many of the delicious restaurants and to the beach. They are fun and traditional while still providing modern comfort and convenience (AC in humid, 90-degree weather: thank you!). We loved exploring Cozumel when the cruise ships left port and we also loved just kicking back on the hammocks and counting the coconuts and avocados in the trees. This is a little slice of heaven! We initially booked the iguana villa for just my husband and I, but changed our reservation to the "swallow's cabin" (Cabaña Golondrina) when my adult daughter joined us. She slept in the loft in the twin bed with the heavenly smell of the thatched roof and we slept downstairs in the double bed. AC was sufficient for the heat, but upstairs did get warm at times (she hung out downstairs).
