Villa holiday rentals in Solbacken

We had a wonderful week at Julia’s beautiful home. It was just two adults and our daughter, but there was plenty of room for more, and we comfortably hosted some friends with kids for dinner one night. So nice being able to walk out the back door into the woods and the nearby small lake. Our 2yr old loved the toys, flowers, records, and books around the house. I enjoyed the sauna in the basement and the views out of every window surrounded by trees and other homes but feeling very private. We cooked every day and found the kitchen very comfortable with all tools and cookware we needed. In short, this is a wonderful family friendly home and we would happily return here again. We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. We had bad weather which means we did not enjoy the pool as we hoped to, but luckily we enjoyed the sauna with breathtaking views. Mikael was responsive and always helpful when we had questions. Beautiful island house in nature with large terrace, (warm) outdoor shower and outdoor toilet with water views! During the Swedish summer holidays there are numerous ferry connections and on the main island some restaurants, from mid-August at least the Coop. Unfortunately, the beach house is not part of the rental, but a nice large jetty. The house is better accessible by boat than via the forest path.

Truly one of the most comfortable, enjoyable and peaceful Air BnB’s I’ve ever stayed in! The reality far exceeded the listing photos as well as my expectations. Located at the end of a pretty cul de sac, everything you could possibly need is available in the house and there are beautiful walks in the area - although it’s hard to tear yourself away from the lovely interior, stunning deck overlooking the lake, and private back garden with fascinating rock formations and cheerful summer flowers. I spent 4 wonderful days here and will always cherish the memory.

Incredible place with fantastic views. The house is more than well-equipped and Anders made sure to help us get started with the sauna, hot tub and grill!

We were really really satisfied with our stay at Kajsas Lakeside-Villa!! The hosts are very friendly and warm people and could be contacted every time during our stay. Communication with them was fast and excellent just like the cozy house by the lake we stayed in. Everything one could need was there and we were even allowed to take some firewood to use the chimney for the first colder autumn evenings. Also the distance to Stockholm was perfect, if you want both: to live in a place near nature and have a short way to the city (you do not necessarily need your own car because it is easy to get to the city centre with public transportation in 30-40 Minutes from there around the clock -> busstop "Grindstugan" -> sl.se). A visit to Tyresta National Park (www.tyresta.se/english/) is also just 30 Minutes away with public transport. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your beuatiful lakeside-villa! Lisa + Hannes

We very much enjoyed staying at this lovely and quiet place with plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well indeed!!

This beautiful home was perfect for our family during Christmas week. We spent most of our time cooking, eating, reading and playing games, so the open kitchen-dining-living layout with a fireplace and archipelago views was ideal for us. We especially appreciated the sauna with refreshing plunge pool and the enclosed garden for our dog to run around. Overall, everything was very easy, from communicating with Sabina, settling in, and checking out. Tip: bring slippers as the polished concrete flooring can be a bit hard and chilly underfoot. Fredrik's house is a wonderful place of modern architecture, with a magnificent terrace that merges seamlessly into the Swedish landscape. It offers a stunning view of the nature around the house. The kitchen, and everything really, is fully equipped with all you could possibly need. The house is located in a tranquil area, which is favoured by the neighbouring nature reserve and offers several bathing spots. And yet, Stockholm is just a few minutes away. Fredrik and his family are attentive, generous hosts who made sure we had a wonderful time. With this, you do not rent a house, you rent a home. Tack för det!

We had a fantastic stay in this wonderful house on Dalarö. Everything was exactly as described and even better. Linnéa was incredibly friendly and prepared everything perfectly for our group. The house is spacious and beautiful, with large social areas. There were plenty of activities for the kids, including a trampoline, playhouse, and a nearby forest to explore. The pool was a highlight with its warm water and we really enjoyed spending time on the generous deck with barbecue facilities. We can highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun stay in the Stockholm Archipelago. Absolutely worth the price!

We had a marvelous time at Fatimas House with the gorgious huge garden It's the perfect place to stay, if you look for a mixture of nature and Cityliving. A lake only a few minutes walk away and the busstation nearly in front of the door. Fatima is a perfect host, who had a lot of Tips for our stay in Stockholm and even picked us up at the Station. We had a very nice time with Patrik in the house! The house is beautifully located directly with a view of the Baltic Sea is wonderfully modernly furnished and is also great to live in with 4 kids. We didn't miss anything, especially the kitchen is very extensively equipped. So also elaborate cooking or a BBQ in the garden is not a problem. There are great loungers, a hammock, beanbags to relax and lie in the sun. A highlight is certainly the beautiful flowery garden and the stairs to the water to the private stand incl. Surfboard and boat! The kids loved the XL TV and the PlayStation of course. All around a magnificent house for a perfect Sweden vacation. Thank you

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area was a real highlight, we loved the pool, it was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to the center, with easy access via taxi or public transport. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

We had such an amazing time. The house was a few minutes walk from the sea and a lovely beach area. There was a lovely walk way along the water that took you into the forest. The house was lovely. So well equipped with everything you would need. Absolutely amazing. We will definitely come back. Maria was such a helpful host, very responsive and helpful which really made our stay even better.

We had a great time in the cozy house with our family and enjoyed nice barbecues on the big veranda. Our daughter loved the pool and trampoline. The contact with Niclas was very friendly and courteous.

Our stay at Melinda’s house was absolutely amazing! The home was beautifully maintained, very stylish indeed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool was fantastic, the kids loved it, as did we. Plenty of outdoor space on the various terraces to relax. The hosts were brilliant—so communicative, helpful, and attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. The area was really great, offering plenty to do and see, with easy access to Stockholm as well as exploring the surrounding area, which was stunning. Artipelag, the art museum, was a highlight and only a 30min drive away, as well as some magnificent cafes and restaurants in neighbouring Gustavsberg. Stella the cat was very friendly and cuddly, she also made us feel at home! We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would very highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect family getaway in a beautiful area.

After 2 weeks of traveling through Sweden, we enjoyed a week in Nynäshamn at this great villa. The decor was great and inspiring. The house is very large and each of the children had their own room. We spent most of our time on the large terrace. There is also the possibility for fitness with dumbbells :-). We received many tips from Helen and Niclas for excursions and restaurants. We recommend renting a kayak at Lövhagen for a nice tour in the archipelago. Also recommended in the Ute Express from Nynäshamn to Alö or Utö - if necessary, rent bicycles there. The house is highly recommended and we really appreciated the hospitality there.
