From Alessandra and Jul's apartment, I was able to spend a magnificent stay in the heart of Palermo. The apartment is perfectly functional, comfortable, well decorated and tidy. I received many recommendations from my hosts, who were also extremely friendly and kind before my arrival and throughout the stay. There were many addresses and recommendations in the Airbnb. Alessandra was very kind in giving me all the recommendations I needed, and allowing me to make the most of my stay in Palermo. Thank you for everything, I had an exceptional time:)

The apartment is wonderful. You are very central, but you still have a private outdoor space where you can sit very comfortably. Instructions to get to the apartment could not be better. Very nice arrival and the certainty that you can always contact your host with questions and will get a quick answer. Highly recommended!

Best things: it's super clean, quiet, and central. Not so good: the mattress needs replacing, and upstairs where the bedroom is tends to be quite hot, but it can be solved with AC.

Spacious apartment in an excellent location within walking distance of centro strorico and all the main attractions. Access to the apartment is easy with a convenient lift for those who travel with small children and pushchairs. Francesco is a great host, friendly, responsive and very communicative. Lots of local tips for eating out and places to visit around the city. Relatively easy on-street parking with free options also available. Overall a great stay and would come back again!

Sandro has great hospitality and passion. He gave us amazing recommendations to restaurants, supermarkets and places to visit. It certainly made us enjoy Palermo even more. The apartment is a piece of art, full of antiques, very clean. If we would to visit Palermo again is Sandro’s apartment would definitely be our first choice again.

Claudia’s apartment was hands-down our favorite stay during our two-week trip to Italy. The space was absolutely beautiful — spacious, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable for our family of five. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which made our stay especially relaxing. The balconies offered gorgeous views of the Cathedral, and the lift made it easy to get all our luggage up to the third floor. Claudia was an exceptional host — kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She met us upon arrival, helped carry in our luggage, and even had a delicious homemade pastry (baked by her mother!) waiting for us. She went above and beyond, helping us coordinate airport transfers, an unforgettable boat day, and a wonderful cooking class — all of which became highlights of our time in Sicily. The location was also fantastic — walkable, central, and the perfect base for exploring Palermo. We have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience!

Amazing place, exceeded expectations

Quite simply put, la casa di Gioia is a paradise - the best airbnb experience I have ever had. Agata is an exceptional and caring host. The appartment is beyond cozy, a place where I would love to live. I slept really well there, and am already missing the place. Picturesque living space in the heart of Termini Imerese. Within walking distance of many coffee shops, restaurants and markets. The view on the balcony thru the Duomo’s garden is breath taking.

very well located apartment, 5 min on foot from the train station. close to all the things to see on foot,restaurants and bars . to do your shopping,there is a Lidl 5 min away,if not troubleshooting shops at the bottom of the building. the apartment is on the first floor and overlooks a very commercial and lively street and finally Eleonora is very welcoming and accommodating in terms of arrival times ( 9:30 p.m. passed for me)

Spacious, tasteful and authentic ground floor apartment in a large house. It is set in a residential neighbourhood yet easy to walk into the centre which we did often. A short walk to the promenade. There is a lovely patio and garden which was a huge bonus in the mornings and evenings. Very peaceful and quiet inside and good air conditioning. Three good sized bedrooms, all with spacious en-suite bathrooms with a good shower. Very welcome air con! As others have said, the kitchen is small but we thought the design was clever and was adequate for our needs. Parking immediately outside which was very convenient as there are lots of cars in Palermo. Monica was friendly, helpful and very responsive. She met us when we arrived and was very flexible about check in and check out. She left lovely ice creams in the freezer for us. Thank you Monica, highly recommended to stay here if visiting Palermo.

Giuseppe is a great host. He was very proactive in his communication & his instructions were excellent. This is a historic apartment with 2 bedrooms in one space with a living area and shower room. Double doors lead into an enchanting garden with outdoor seating and a hammock. This was an ideal place to eat & relax out of the midday sun. There is a separate kitchen & 2nd shower room which also open into the garden. It’s a 20min train journey from the airport & about 40min train journey to centre of Palermo. Trains very frequent & cheap. Great option if you want close to the sea & seafood restaurant but also want a day trip to Palermo. Lots of local shops nearby - butcher, fish shop, grocery, pharmacy & walking distance to marina & seafood restaurants. Great place to unwind & start our holiday.

Great little apartment, very cute with a nice balcony and spacious bedroom, the bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. It is about 15 min by foot to the center, even though the neighbourhood is a bit shady, we had no issue. We parked the car on the street with all other cars and it was not damaged. Roberta was a very nice host, offering tea and almonds and explaining where to go and what to do. There is an elevator on the 4rth floor, where the apartment is, however it's worth mentioning that if you have mobility issues, you might have a slight problem with it because it's essentially a loft of a larger apartment, reached via a steep vertical staircase. That wasn't a problem for us. I reccomend this place

We really enjoyed our stay in Palermo. The flat had everything we needed and was very clean. Angelo was a fantastic host, gave us so much advice on where to go in the city and was very attentive during our stay. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment as in the photos. Amazing artwork lovely kitchen and spectacular views from all rooms. Guido helped us by facilitating an early checkin which was great. Excellent response time every time we messaged. Bathrooms a bit dated but otherwise all food. Great few days in Palermo.

Luigi was extremely responsive and accommodating. The location is perfect to see all the sites and the balcony is wonderful to soak in the city.

The place is superbly located, in the heart of downtown Palermo, at one end of the Mercato del Capo. Walking distance to all the major attractions of the city. Massimiliano is a great host - super friendly, detail oriented, very helpful: he met us at the parking spot where we left our car (due to the street closing of the Mercato you cannot drive there and have to walk a couple of blocks to get to the place) and helped us with our luggage to his place. As we walked he told us about the city, and when we reached his place he walked us through a map with the major highlights of the city and his personal favorite restaurants and bars. His place is cozy, super clean and decorated very tastefully. It has all you need, but we did not cook at all since the area (and the city as a whole!) is beaming with places to have a cocktail, eat and snack. I would totally recommend the place, with the advice if you have some kind of disability that you have to climb three stories of steps to reach it

I think Massimiliano and his son Guiseppe were amazing hosts for my stay in Palermo, they were so helpful with check in, even gave us alcohol and food on arrival. He also stocked shampoo/shower gel and other useful things you may have forgotten. The space was exactly as described and a walking distance to everything! I could not have asked for a better host, I would recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Palermo! 5 Stars!🌟
