Cabin holiday rentals in Södermanland County

We stayed at this house for three nights with our families—8 adults and 4 kids—and had a wonderful experience. The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable group stay. The view was lovely, and we enjoyed spending time outside, especially using the small pool. While the pool didn’t have bubbling features, the temperature was moderate. Martin is very helpful and responsive, which made the stay even smoother. Overall, a great place for a family getaway!

We spent our entire summer vacation on this wonderful island. It actually looks as nice as described in the photos. Malin showed us everything great and always got back to us quickly and took care of any questions. We won't soon forget the many beautiful sunsets and boat trips. It was a great vacation and we can very well imagine coming back again. We will miss the jacuzzi very much! 😉

This is an incredibly cozy little oasis with both soul and comforts. An incredibly well-needed rest from the chaos of the city and with a large garden, protected from view and with living greenery.

A fantastic accommodation that we booked for a bachelorette party where we were a group of 10 girls. Sunset and sunrise to birdsong, total silence and a view to die for. Simply enjoying life! We were all completely enchanted by the view, the location and the cozy house and small cottages. The sauna is fantastically located down by the water, perfect for jumping in and taking a dip from your own jetty! There is everything you need for cooking and good amenities in general. Everything feels fresh and extra plus for glazed conservatory to sit in a little later in the evening. Rebecka as a host was always quick to respond, gave us good tips and extra plus that she pimped and did that little extra so we really felt welcome! Highly recommended and many of us in the group said that we will book this again as we barely wanted to leave! A big thank you from a bunch of happy and satisfied girls 😊

The small cottage matches the descriptions. The whirlpool, which always kept the right temperature, and the good connection with public transport to Stockholm are worth mentioning. There are also extensive hikes in the nearby forest or swimming in the lake or the natural outdoor swimming pool in the forest. We felt very comfortable. The house is quietly located on the mountain.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy accommodation. Everything essential was provided (except for a hairdryer), and the space was clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and accommodating — even small individual requests, like providing a towel for swimming in the lake, were happily fulfilled. Communication was excellent, with quick response times. The location is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle, yet still reachable by public transport, with about a 15-minute walk from the nearest stop. The view — especially at sunset — is absolutely priceless. I would definitely come back!

Me and a group of friends rented this cabin for a weekend and it was great. Beautiful location, great access to the lake for swimming and overall just a very nice place to hang out. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and really want you to have a great time. Bonus points for letting us use their SUPs and kayak. We totally want to come back another time!

Jane is a wonderful hostess. Warm welcome. We fired up the oven because of the bad weather and had good conversations. We would have liked to have had more time.

Staying with Lars and Britta was very nice, both are very friendly and helpful hosts. Plus, they have a dog who was also super friendly and quiet. We felt immediately comfortable and were totally happy with the beautiful surroundings. We will be happy to come back!

We spent a week at the end of May with our children and dog in this idyllic log cabin. There are many castles and manor houses to visit in the region, and Stockholm is only 50-60 minutes away from Katrineholm by train. Otherwise, you can relax in the fantastic natural surroundings directly on the lake and let your mind wander. Patricia was always easy to reach and super friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the accommodation!

Beautiful cottage in the middle of nature! We stayed here for a little over a week and saw several wild animals: deer, cranes, wild boar, and a squirrel. The cottage was full of comforts and very clean. Check-in was very easy. With nice weather, you can sit under the canopy. The owner, Sami, also lives on the property, but you have all the privacy. He is hospitable and responds quickly to questions. Despite the remote location, you can easily reach nice places. The large supermarket is only 15 minutes away by car and by train you are right in the center of Stockholm. Ideal! There are also many beautiful walks in the area. We definitely recommend this stay!

Inger is a very lovely hostess and welcomed us warmly. The house is separately on the farm grounds, new, bright and very comfortably furnished! The height of the doors and beams is slightly low. People used to be smaller. With my 1.84 cm, I was still able to move well, from 1.90 cm it will probably be a little more difficult. We enjoyed the few days with family here and can definitely recommend it!

Very good holiday time and so relax

A wonderful accommodation in the countryside by the water. The house is large with a wooden deck outside with a view of the water. The accommodation is suitable for families, couples and for the solo traveler. Prons: Location, location, location. Quiet surroundings. Pleasant and responsive hostess. Fast communication. Easy and fast check-in/check-out. Dishwasher. Washing machine. Wood-burning stove. Comfortable bed (Fixed). Free parking. Less than 100 meters to the beach. Cons: Requires you to have a car. No microwave.

This is the second time we stay at Örjan’s place. Some renovations has been done and there is now a terrasse and some extra beds. The place is beautiful and decorated with good taste. There is everything you need. The hosts are lovely, discreet and helpful.

We had a fantastic autumn weekend in Järnäs. The accommodation was homey and lived up to all our expectations. The host couple were available throughout the stay and cautious that we would have a good time. The sauna at dusk was the icing on the cake. Thank you for having us and enjoying your location!

We used Jonas' accommodation for a visit to Kolmården Park and this accommodation is perfect for that. It is clean and stylishly furnished, the children had plenty of space to play, even outside and the communication with Jonas was great. We can recommend the house.

Nice accommodation with room for several families at the same time, both in terms of number of bedrooms and social areas. Very beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful. We are super happy with our stay!
