This place was pure magic. Tucked into the trees on beautiful Whidbey Island, the property felt like stepping into a fairytale. There’s a trail that winds into what can only be described as an enchanted forest, complete with twinkle lights and towering trees. Our dog had the time of her life, tearing through the woods like Tinkerbell herself had sprinkled fairy dust on her. I’ve never seen zoomies like that! The location was perfect, secluded enough to feel peaceful, but close enough to explore the island with ease. The beds were super comfortable, and the entire home was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. It truly felt like a home away from home. We left feeling rested, recharged, and already planning our return. I’d recommend this magical retreat to anyone looking to unplug, unwind, and just breathe.

Beautiful lake view home - spacious kitchen with sliding door right on to deck that overlooks the lake. Hot tub on deck was wonderful to relax in and enjoy the view and birdsong. Julia was responsive to our questions and her place is welcoming and comfortable. My service animal was welcome and this place allows 2 dogs so that is another plus. Entire downstairs has 2 couches, bed and a fireplace so our entire party had their own space as well as a place to gather in kitchen and living room on main floor. Highly recommend!

The long forested driveway sets the stage & frames your experience & sets you up for the incredible Salish Sea views from the property. Just gorgeous!

We had an unforgettable weekend in a house with direct access to the lake - it was simply magical! The house is cozy, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. We especially liked the stunning view of the water from the windows - in the morning you could drink coffee on the veranda and listen to the birds singing. The lake is within walking distance, the water is clean, a great place for swimming, fishing and boating. In the evening we had a barbecue and enjoyed the sunsets - the nature here is mesmerizing! An ideal place for those who want to take a break from the bustle of the city and be closer to nature. We will definitely come back again!

Chose this cabin for our book club weekend retreat and so happy with how it turned out. The cabin is cozy with everything you could need. The view is amazing. The hot tub was clean and warm. Couches comfy for reading all weekend. The beds were clean and sooo comfy! Would definitely come back here!

The home was even better than the description and photos. The beds were very comfortable as was all the furniture. It was fun and relaxing on the chair swing for the adults for the few minutes that the kids weren't enjoying it. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and family friendly games. Last, but not least, we were really happy that there was a high chair and pack-and-play on location, so we didn't have to bring our own. We will definitely look to book again on a future trip to Whidbey.

Our stay at Jay’s Airbnb was great! We stayed here long term and Jay was very responsive and accommodating. I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough.

This was our first Airbnb experience & we loved it! The house was absolutely perfect! The owner provided everything we could have needed. The home was spacious & comfortable. And having a private pool really topped off our visit! The pool was heated to perfection & our 5 yr old officially learned to swim while there! Which was super exciting! The bedding was clean & super comfy. She provided plenty of towels, for both showers & swimming. The fireplace was amazing for after those chilling evening swims. The owner was also very responsive, helpful, & kind! We would most definitely stay here again! Thank you Destiny!

Wow! Wow! Wow! The view is spectacular. We spent so much time outdoors or in the fantastic hot tub/pool gazing at the Cascades and the waters of the Sound. Incredibly picturesque and peaceful and close to town. Plenty of room for everyone and large den and kitchen and butlers pantry to boot.

Came here with 2 of my friends, incredible spot if you are looking to be close to beautiful mountains and hikes , we were about 15 minutes from major towns and grocery stores, woke up to the lake and Mountain View which was awesome! The spot itself did exactly what we needed, we kayaked caught some trout and had a good spot to sleep every night . Only thing I would change is the futon pull out couches are not the comfiest, we are in our 20s so we were perfectly fine. 10/10 would stay here again

I booked a last minute stay the day of check in and Joe kindly messaged me shortly after that the cabin is already ready and that I may check in earlier if I needed to. The cabin was a perfect getaway for me and was very clean and cute! I enjoyed sitting outside by the pond especially at sunset. I was greeted by 2 cats outside that kept their distance but enough to hang around and enjoy the weather with me. Also the bed is very comfy. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re looking for a nice little getaway from town. Excellent service from the host!

House was very clean and well furnished. Outdoor patio was where we spent most of our time, great place to stay with kids / family.

Great spot by the river! Lot's of hikes nearby and plenty of entertainment between the cabin/game room. Dogs had a great time playing in the river. Would stay again!

Wonderful place to stay. Close to town but in a peaceful location. Great kitchen and amenities.

We really enjoyed sitting outside and by the creek. It was so peaceful listening to the water and the birds. We felt like we had everything we needed for short stay with my husband.

I absolutely loved the place. We weren't blessed with great weather for our winter stay but it was cozy and wonderful anyway. when the sky did finally clear up for us the view was absolutely beautiful. I loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again.
