Great little house! close to town, everything was clean and crisp. We'd definitely stay there again!

We loved staying at The Shepherd’s Retreat. The farmhouse bedrooms are comfortable, distinctive and have beautiful linens and quilts, a touch of luxury. We enjoyed cooking and baking in the bountifully supplied kitchen. The whole house is spacious, interesting, filled with unique paintings, framed documents, unusual layout, with obvious attention to history as well as beauty and comfort. We were with our 10 year old grandson who enjoyed playing twister , and there were many games to choose from. Lynn gave us an intro to sheep breeding and herding with dogs… fascinating and beautiful to watch. The sheep move together like a river of water. Now I understand the phrase “they follow like sheep!” We had a beautiful hike at nearby Boulder River Trail and then stopped at an amazing little gift shop almost across the street and next to the gas station, which I highly recommend. Loved the location of this Airbnb. It was also very clean. The heat and the ac worked well. I loved that they had Tupperware containers we were able to use for picnic lunches on our hikes in the area. Super comfy bed.

Really clean and nice place to stay. Worked well for my brother and I to have space to hang out as well as have some privacy from each other. Thoughtful hosts - charging cords in each bedroom and living room.

We had a great time! The house was beautiful and clean. Kathleen puts a lot of work into this place and she was very responsive. My daughter loved the little nook under the stairs and the master bed was very comfortable. We didn’t take advantage of all the amenities (kayaks, blackstone grill, etc) because we didn’t have a lot of time but we jumped in the lake a couple of times and created some great memories!

This was our second stay at the Roost. It was clean, quiet, and as pictured on listing with great location close to shops and restaurants in Langley. Tamar and Gene are wonderfully communicative. The extra touches are appreciated. Definitely a home away from home.

It was a beautiful space! Lots of natural light, thoughtfully decorated and stocked. More spacious than expected. We hope to come back again and again!

We loved staying at this charming and pristine home. You can tell the host intentionally means to care for the guests. The backyard is like sitting in a little country setting, even the chickens are super friendly…. Just being there makes you want to stay longer. OK.

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Not too far from the city but just far enough to feel like you’re getting away. Host were great very communicative. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a quick stay at this home. It was extremely easy to check in and come in and out. The home was located in a private and quiet area. The parking was easy. This weekend was very warm for Seattle and he had air conditioner prepared for us to keep us cool. Very convenient location as we had an event in Kenmore, but getting to touristy areas of Seattle were quick/easy too. Overall, would recommend.

This was one of the most charming and well equipped AirBNB’s we have stayed in. The attention to details on things that matter to travelers. I felt as if I was visiting my favorite Aunt and Uncle. We will be back for sure. Thank you Sue and John.

We had a great stay here - felt clean, safe, and as described. Host was responsive and left cookies and wine and snacks which was a nice touch.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We have been vacationing as a large family for over 20 years. And this place checks all the boxes for us! Quiet rooms, private bathrooms, good bedding, multiple gathering areas, a large outdoor space with firepit. We all were able to relax and unwind. We plan to return!

Exceeded all expectations. Home was extremely sizable, very well maintained, and in a great area in close proximity to quite a few conveniences.

Our only downside of this location was that we were only there for two days and wish we had been able to spend more time there. The house was perfect. The surroundings were perfect. It was a quiet neighborhood. Everything worked out very well. Christy was excellent and answering our questions quickly And it was a beautiful home.

What a beautiful property! My friends and I had the best time enjoying the stunning views, gorgeous house and the relaxing hottub. It was perfect for a girl’s trip. The host was kind and helpful as well. We would love to come back someday!
