Cottage holiday rentals in Snohomish County

We had a wonderful stay! We're a family with three young boys under the age of 8, and the home worked really well for us overall. A couple of small suggestions that might help future guests: it gets very bright upstairs in the early morning — our kids were up at 4:30am on the first day! Curtains or blackout shades would make a big difference. We ended up using foil as a quick fix, which worked well. The location is fantastic — just steps from the beach. For families with young kids (or older guests), a small set of portable stairs down to the sand would be helpful. We temporarily moved the hot tub steps to make it easier, which worked in a pinch. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked for cooking, and the neighborhood is peaceful with absolutely stunning views. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay!

We were visiting Whidbey for a wedding at Fireseed Catering. This was a convenient and comfortable landing spot for us. Jim was so nice and welcoming. And the property is beautiful! I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!

We can’t say enough about the fabulousness of both the hosts and this Airbnb! Dave and BJ are so incredibly nice and flexible. This is such a kid friendly place both in location but the indoor toys, books and outdoor toys they provide. The hosts live on the back of the property but are non-intrusive. Honestly, we would have loved to hang out with them- they are that wonderful! The Airbnb is fully stocked. It was so nice to not have to run out for things like coffee, ketchup etc. A+++++++++++

Perfect get away, small but plenty of space for 4. Decor was inviting and comfortable. We just sank into the beds and bedding! The hot tub and Nespresso were certainly the added benefits and made our stay“just right”! Hope to stay again.

We had a magical time at Colin’s - visiting with old friends, enjoying the abundant bird life surrounding the house, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, cooking memorable meals, and sleeping soundly each night. The home and location were perfect for us, and Colin was a generous host and a quick and easy communicator. We’d definitely return.

What a sweet getaway. It reminded us of the good old days of how Airbnb used to be--where you get a unique and homey place to stay, and get to know the locals. Everyone at Bur Oak acres was lovely and kind. Our pup and our friend's son loved getting to meet Bernie the dog, the horses and goat.

Foster's cottage is our go-to place to stay for our visits with family in the area. The cottage has everything you'll need and is an easy 10-minute walk to a shopping area that covers all the basics like supermarkets, drugstores and restaurants. Cozy and well appointed. We'll be back.

I loved the backdrop with the cascade mountains out the back door. I loved the proximity to North Cascades national park. The space was extremely clean and comfortable. Only drawback was the proximity of the bathroom from the bedroom. I know it’s a weird quirk and complaint, but not being used to a place and trying to find lights and the bathroom in the middle of the night is interesting.

This was a great place. I loved it so much. The only thing i would’ve liked is ac in the window as the amenities listed in window AC. However i never could find an AC in any of the windows. Since i was alone, i didn’t wanna sleep with a window open. There are ceiling fans but i was still hot. The price tag was a bit hefty at 627 for Friday-Sunday. Luckily i had a credit card and decided to just charge it. Please don’t get me wrong. I absolutely loved this place but the price is maybe more of deal if you go in on it w four people. I’d definitely come back again if i can get three other friends to join me and split the price. Other than that, this place is amazing. I wish i lived there!!

If you are looking for a relaxing spot right on the water, this is it. The spot is directly on the water in a super inviting community. You can walk right down the boat ramp into the water! The hosts were incredible, friendly, and very communicative. If you are on the taller side like us, the bed is a little small, but comfortable.

Marianne's house is very conveniently located at the north end of Camano in quiet, safe, neighborhood close to the water and with private back yard. Her home is very clean, comfortable and attractive. We really appreciated the extras like great coffee and a dozen eggs on hand as well as cooking oils and some condiments. We were there for Christmas and the house was a little difficult to keep warm. There is a nice fireplace but no wood on hand. This home is pet friendly and though the house had been thoroughly cleaned, it did smell faintly like a dog.

It's truly one of a kind. The devil is in the details, and this place has it everywhere, from covering your basic necessities to the welcoming treatment. My family and I definitely had memorable moments that we will never forget. 🙌🏽🫶🏽

Connie was the absolute sweetest host I've ever had on Airbnb. She made us feel right at home, was always checking in on us and made sure that we had everything we needed. The house was clean, labeled, well organized, and even had little notes with recommendations of things to see and do. Exceeded my expectations.

We rented this home for my parents and family friends. They absolutely loved their stay there. The check-in/check-out process couldn't have been easier. The house was lovely and very comfortable. They loved the time they spent there, especially on the deck watching the whales! Thank you for such a great experience!

Lovely little cottage right where we needed to be! The area is beautiful and peaceful and the cottage was spacious. Peggy communicated regularly to make sure we had what we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. We didn’t use the kitchen as we were visiting family in the area, but it appeared to have a number of conveniences for a longer stay too. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

What a beautiful place to relax! We took our three kids and the walking paths through the forest and play area made it so easy to enjoy the spot with something for everyone. The hosts were friendly and the place was very clean as well.

We are so happy we got to stay at the Whale’s Nest. We had a group and rented the entire home. The location in Edmonds is unbeatable and we hope to come back to stay in the future - right in downtown, close to everything, but still felt totally private & safe. Very clean & super comfortable beds, cozy & well-renovated spaces. The layout was not quite what we were expecting, but it still worked for our group. We didn’t utilize the downstairs living/kitchen at all. Location is 10/10!!!
