Cottage holiday rentals in Sneem

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for our family of two adults and three children — clean, modern, and very comfortable. Everything was so thoughtfully prepared, from the fresh scones on arrival to the local ice cream, milk, and butter, which were lovely touches that made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a real treat and the perfect way to relax after a busy day exploring the area. There’s so much to do nearby — our family especially enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking in Rosscarbery. Clonakilty is a charming town with great spots for shopping, coffee, and lunch, and the Clonakilty Pudding factory tour was a fun and unique experience. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped base to explore this beautiful part of Ireland.

A lovely traditional thatched cottage with all the modern amenities. We really enjoyed the use of the hot tub, jacuzzi bath and sitting in front of the turf fire in the evening which was very relaxing. Thank you for a great stay and would not hesitate to return again.

Had such an amazing stay here. Beautiful home with loads of lovely touches like the candles. Was so cosy as well. Noreen was also so helpful with instructions and responded straight away to any questions we had. Wish we had booked to stay longer!

This was a magical stay for our family. Sarah was so friendly and responsive. The location of the property is one of the best I have experienced. Views were super, hot tub was a hugh bonus and we availed of it every day. You could walk for a swim, snorkel and to the pub for dinner and drinks and the locals were very friendly in the pub. Highly recommend and is my favourite airbnb so far.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Tom & Judy's Beautiful home , spacious , relaxing , fantastic views which included grazing deetlrs in the front garden and foxes , rabbits , hares and a multi dude of birds to watch every evening . On arrival we were treated to home baked tarts and cakes in the fridge ( which were delicious) , treats left for the pup , clear instructions of how to use everything in the house and Tom had no bother answering us straight away via text when I was enquiring about something in particular . Just a 5 minute drive from bustling Kenmare and you are not far in any direction from some spectacular drives , we would highly recommend staying at Tom & Judys place , it is out of this world , thanks so much again , Mick & Irene .

Sublime location, charming and comfortable house with a gorgeous view. Katarina is very welcoming. We loved our stay!

The cottage was lovely and their dog (Bear) is delightful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kevin's home, the house was as described and the location was great with lovely walks and views from the doorstep. The walk to zetland pier for a swim was the highlight for us, Hopefully we'll be back next summer.

We stayed in Ritchie’s cottage for 3 nights with a dog and a toddler. Ritchie was very friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed and the surrounding area was so beautiful. Thank you Ritchie for your hospitality!

Annette was a great host from start to finish. Very responsive, attentive, and a very friendly person in general! A welcome hamper for the first breakfast was there for us when we arrived, which was a lovely touch! The house was as described, very clean and cosy, and an excellent launch pad for travelling around the county. Has all the utensils you need for cooking too, which we made good use of. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants something private, has dogs, and wants to see the local sites. Thanks again, Annette!!!

Mairéad was the friendliest and most helpful host, giving us suggestions of what to see and do, even booking a table at a local restaurant for us. Even more special were the welcoming scones, butter and jam on the table and Mairéad turning up to greet us with an armful of beautiful, freshly cut garden flowers! Jenny the donkey and the local pusscat that joined us on our walks were an added bonus! All in all a lovely, homely cottage in a stunning location… highly recommend!

Colette’s place is stunning and was probably the nicest place we stayed in during our trip. The amenities were amazing and it was well stocked with everything you needed. The attention to detail was on-point. Colette brought fresh baked scones for breakfast- still hot out of the oven and the fresh eggs were amazing. Finding the place was a little challenging, but Colette responded in minutes to meet us and offer assistance. The real downside was finding out we were a week early for the hot tub room opening!! The live stock right outside the door was very cool for my daughter and added to the homey feeling!! Highly recommend!!

Una’s cottage was a wonderful place to stay in. It was in a peaceful location surrounded by very scenic countryside. The cottage was comfortable and very well equipped for self catering. The shower was great. Una was an excellent host and always helpful. She could suggest lots of places to visit. We would recommend Una’s cottage to anyone, who appreciates comfort in peaceful surroundings.

If you want a quiet place and close to the ocean, this is it. A pleasant drive to Killorghlin for shops and pubs. We stayed 5 nights. It was restful. Anne greeted us when we arrived and when we left. A lovely graceful lady

The bungalow was a lovely place to stay. It had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. Tralee isn't far the Wetlands was worth a visit especially the cafe. A walk along the canal was enjoyable. Dingle was just under an hour away. We enjoyed our week.

We stayed here for 6 nights and had an amazing time. At first the house was quite chilly due to strong winds, but with the fireplace it luckily became warm fastly. Matt and Maura are such accomodating and welcoming people, who made us feel at home fast. They gave us fresh eggs from their hens and lots of good tips for the area. There is also a Sauna now, which you can book. We got extra towels for the sauna and for surfing, too. All in all our stay at the acumeen farm was a great experience and made us fall in love with this part of Ireland.

The location is beautiful, we loved how quiet it was at night. And still so close to the venue we had to go, and the town centre. We all loved being welcomed by the dogs! We think is the most complete place we stayed in Ireland so far, the kitchen had absolutely everything you could have forgotten to bring for cooking, plenty of tableware, and being honest the features and design I'd love in my own. The beds were comfortable, the wardrobe is huge. The bathroom has a beautiful design, and we didn't even unpacked our own shampoo and gel, as it had plenty of it all. The laundry room is very convenient, the house was warm, with good insulation. It was a very short, lovely stay, super comfortable and we hope it is available on our next visit to Killarney.

Our small family really enjoyed our stay at Trudi’s in the center of Kenmare. Everything was within a few minutes walking distance. The cottage is cozy, clean and quiet. Kenmare is a great place to have as a base for exploring the ring of Kerry.

This is a beautifully-appointed cottage and Jacinta is the perfect host. This Airbnb has everything you could wish for and more. It is spacious, clean, very comfortable and in a spectacular setting in the hills of West Cork. There are so many great places to visit and explore, and a wide variety of top class restaurants to dine in. A highly-recommended base for holidaying in one of the most scenic parts of Ireland.

This was such a charming and cozy home! We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. We joked that it felt a bit like camping - it has all the essentials without being indulgent. For us, it was perfect and exactly what we needed after several travel-heavy days. The space is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need - tea, salt and pepper, a full kitchen. The bed was a bit firm for us, but my partner is also a giant, so that may have played a role. The host was very responsive and shared loads of great local suggestions. We’d absolutely stay here again!
