Holiday rentals with a kayak in Smiths Lake

Amazing! Ainslie and Dan were fantastic hosts & the property just delightful, well and truly exceeding our expectations. The property is well furnished, beautifully styled, immaculate and well equipped with everything you could possible need for a relaxing stay. The additional fridge and pantry items were a lovely surprise and meant we could settle in without the need to feel rushed to get the shops. The location was perfect being so close to essential amenities with the views of Lake Macquarie just superb. We particularly enjoyed having our morning coffee out on the balcony watching the sunrise. Beautiful location and space! Worked well for our group of 8 people and everything was really clean on arrival. Nice and easy to pop to the lake and close to some lovely beaches :) really good deal too! Would have been good to have had sheets provided and some aircon in the main space as it was very warm the week we stayed, but other than that would highly recommend! Thanks

The house was perfect to sleep 21 of us and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating leading up to the booking. The house was big and have everything we needed. Becky was available to answer a few phone calls which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this property for a large group.

This is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable, clean, people in the area are very friendly, the area itself is gorgeous. The kangaroos come to visit the front yard often and are very sweet to watch, lots of beautiful birds around too. Great views, quiet, homely, neighbours very helpful and friendly. Everything you need, great set up kitchen. I was there for over a month and had no problems at all, had an amazing stay and would stay again if in the area. Great that it’s dog friendly, nice yard for dogs and safely enclosed. Highlights in the area would be the wildlife, the beaches, walking around Nerong, the bakery at Tea Gardens and Tea Gardens Kombucha, absolutely delicious and if you go in they will give you a little tasting to try the kombucha flavours which is a bit fun. All the family enjoyed our stay 'On The Edge'. The whole family had lots of fun in the lake which were few steps down to access. enjoyed lots of walk in the beautiful relaxing scenaries and canoes facilities added a plus to all our left happy memories to be remembered. note; there were no air-conditioning available in the place, that we struggled a bit when extremely hot however there were small fans provided in every rooms, we were very thankful for that. thank you :)

This is more than a beach shack! There is everything you need, as well as a beautiful interior, surroundings and location. I would definitely stay here again. Had the best time :)

Amazing secluded home, great for a large group with plenty of rooms and beds, amazing pool,spa and games room for entertainment, outdoor BBQ and pizza oven for dinner was great. The hosts were very helpful and even gave us the option to cancel last minute due to poor weather which was very kind. Highly recommend.

Stephen’s place was the perfect retreat for a rainy weekend. Even though the weather kept us indoors, the spacious layout and fantastic amenities made our stay incredibly enjoyable. There was plenty to do and everyone had a great time. Stephen was also a wonderful host, being very responsive, clear, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

Well appointed. So many items supplied in kitchen and bathrooms that I have not seen at any other AIRBNB. Easy access. Very clean and well stocked with cleaning items and supplies incase of an accident or spill so you clean up and continue to enjoy your stay. Location close to cafes and restaurants at Lemon Tree Passage. So many recreational items in shed to help you enjoy the coastal location and water ways. Julie took the time to reach out to us when we did not reply to emails as we were travelling and not opening our laptop and lodging in every day about dietary requirements re type of milk to put in fridge. In conclusion well done Julie you are a credit as a super host.

We had an amazing stay! The place was fantastic – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. Kate was incredibly responsive and friendly, making everything super easy. The jetty was a highlight, with plenty of activities to keep us entertained. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Great place, with amazing views. Lisa's place brought our families together and helped create some fantastic memories. Neighbours are very friendly. The water view and ocean breeze was quite relaxing. We even had a friendly neighbour selling some great bananas from their garden. Very private setting where you can go for strolls whilst enjoying the view.

Grant was excellent host and we enjoyed staying at his place very much. Encourage people who want to take rest and recharge from busy city life!

We loved Mansfield on Manning. My family stayed for a week and spent a few days mountain biking in the excellent set up in the nearby Kiwarrak state forest, swam in the lovely pool, kayaked, did an easy bike ride in Taree along the river, walked our dog on the beach at Old Bar, had a few lovely meals at the cafes recommended and read a lot on the deck overlooking the property and river. Highly recommend for a great get away.

Highly recommend

First thing you notice as you pull up to the cabin is the stunning view off the mountain. The cabin is tucked into the bush making it a private and discreet little getaway. We watched the sunset daily from the spa which was amazing. The cabin itself was a very nice touch also, well maintained and presented with everything you need to make a special relaxing getaway. From playing tennis, going for a bush walk or relaxing by the fire, Inala was the perfect getaway and a place we would feel privileged to visit again in the future.

It was a great place exactly as described, clean well equipped and had everything we needed.
