Really enjoyed our night stay with Maureen - great location with an easy walk to everything you need. Maureen was fabulous to deal with - welcoming on arrival and really helpful throughout our stay. Loved the details of the accomodation.

Stunning views of the beautiful beach and there is a great coffee shop on the same street. The apartment has everything needed for a holiday with family and is very neat and tidy. The fruit and cheese platter on our arrival was so lovely and unexpected. We will be returning!

Our stay at this beautiful waterside home was nothing short of magical. The location is absolutely stunning — waking up to the gentle sounds of the water and enjoying coffee on the deck with that view was a dream. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing dolphins swimming right past the house! It was such a peaceful and unforgettable moment. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and clearly cared for with love. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, making check-in a breeze and offering great local tips. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a serene getaway by the water!

Hidden Gem in Newcastle – Thoughtful, Understated, Perfect This place truly surprised me — in the best way. The space was beautiful yet understated, with everything I needed right at my fingertips. What made it unforgettable was the host: warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. I was greeted with beautiful complimentary drinks and felt instantly at ease. A rare gem!

Beautiful location, stunning views from the balcony! We were even joined by 6 rainbow lorikeets when we arrived. The flat was spotless, easy to access and Brent was a responsive host. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We really enjoyed our stay at Terry and Sue’s place. Very spacious and well appointed with extra touches to make you feel welcome and comfortable .We really appreciated the bread and milk as well as other supplies that they provided. Spotlessly clean and the kitchen was great. We made good use of the utensils and air fryer. A quiet neighbourhood but close to the beach, shops and restaurants with lovely views of the hinterland from the balcony. Terry and Sue are very welcoming and responsive and helpful when needed. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!

It’s a fantastic stay. Beautiful Lakehouse. Great for a family of 4. Got plenty to do at the premises, sauna by the lakeside, kayaking at Cooma Bay and cooking in the beautiful kitchen with the freshly picked vegetables from the garden. Also, there are two lovely doggies, Matilda and Bella checked us in and out. Amazing host!

We had a fantastic stay at Alex’s place! The space was exactly as described—super clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up. Everything was incredibly functional, from the layout to the amenities, which made the stay really comfortable and convenient. You can tell Alex puts care into making sure guests have a great experience. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable trip!

This is a lovely retreat which makes you feel on top of the world - with incredible views north over the Port Stephens peninsula. At night the stars are incredible. The house itself is modern, clean and fresh with everything you'd need - and the beds are very comfortable. The communal spa and pool is beautiful - and the water temperature was perfect. The whole place feels like a mini private resort. Jane was very communicative with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again.

Really nice house and location, everything was clean and stocked pantry with most necessities. One small problem was they told us the lounge beds would be made up with linen and towels but they weren't, no biggie, just found some spare blankets.

We had a great stay, the house was in a great location. We went out on the kayaks and had a really fun time. The house is as described and the host was very accommodating. Would come back.

We had a lovely stay at Blueys' Beach Shack! The location is absolutely perfect — just a short walk to beautiful Blueys Beach, and close to local shops and cafes. The house had a cozy, architectural feel and was very well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outlook onto the tropical garden was really lovely as well. Communication with Cameron was easy and friendly, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches around the house, as well as the proactiveness in ensuring we had a good stay. We had a great time and would definitely love to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anna's place and can't reccommend it high enough. Anna was super helpful and accomodating throughout our stay. The house has great internet connection and wifi and really does look as good as the pictures suggest. Check-in and out were seamless and Anna was always on-hand to answer any questions we had. I really can't rate this place high enough, will absolutely look forward to staying here again!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beach shack! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cozy charm and unbeatable location. The house was clean, well-equipped, and had such a relaxed, inviting vibe. We spent our days lounging on the deck, soaking up the lakeside breeze, and walking to the lake just a stone's throw away. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided thoughtful touches, like beach towels, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a great collection of books for those lazy afternoons. It felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot to recharge and enjoy the beaches, this is the place! This place was incredible! This holiday unit was beautiful, clean, ocean view, spacious and with all the amenities available including the pool and gym- I could not recommend this place enough. Lorraine was nice and really easy to communicate with, Thankyou for letting us stay at your place 😊

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

This accomodation was outstanding. Great location and the unit was equipped with everything you needed including some thoughtful items like a coffee machine, condiments in the fridge to a variety of tea and coffee selections. Communication was on point with step by step instructions on how to access the unit and Mark was very reactive to emails. The outlook was amazing, listening to the sound of the waves and the sunsets ❤️. I will be back..

hosts were really lovely and even left home made cookies for arrival! Lovely clean apparentment close to the beach and walks. I didn't realise there was no oven so that was the only downside for us but it was great value for the money

Wow, this garden apartment is fabulous. Arrival was easy & straight forward. On entering, I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is so spacious, bright & airy and the proportions are very generous. A rare find indeed. The kitchen is lovely with everything you could possibly need. The bedroom is roomy and the bed devine, so comfortable. The bathroom is large & bright with a spacious shower & a separate bath.. There is a well equipped gym and a lovely swimming pool, all on the same level as the apartment.. both well used by us.. We loved it so much that we will make a night stop, room only, on our return.
