Stay in a beautiful, newly renovated house right on the edge of Lake Åsnen in close proximity to the national park. The house has its own jetty and fishing rights as well as a fireplace, large terrace with Jacuzzi and surrounded by beautiful nature and lovely lake views. There are 4 separate bedrooms with room for a total of 6 people, large kitchen and open social areas. We include sheets and other amenities as well as access to bicycles, two canoes and barbecue in the rent. There is also the possibility to rent a boat.

Fishing permits can be purchased on site and boats are available for rent. Proximity to skiing and activity facilities. There is a possibility to rent a wood-fired hot tub. The house is connected to our residential house with access to a large garden with free-range chickens. We are guest-friendly and happy to offer stories and information about the area. Surrounded by meadows, forests and lakes this modern and winterproof country house invites you to get away from it all to enjoy the wonderful undisturbed nature, perfect for bathing, fishing, cycling and gathering berries and mushrooms. The house is continuously maintained. In 2024, the veranda roof was renewed and an odorless biological sewage treatment plant and EV charging station were installed - before that, among other things, a new fridge-freezer, stove, induction hob and dishwasher.

Relaxing old wood house

My house is adorable, next to a lake. It's peacefull, lots of windows. You can take the canoe , paddling ower the lake, or just sit and relax on the deck. Cold days, sit inside by the fireplace, read, eat a nice dinner in one off the rooms with windows owerlooking the lake. Small bedrooms,leaning walls , give you a feeling off going back 100 years in old sweden, when the house was built. You can not swim from my garden, but 200m from my house is a beach. My house is in a small village.

The house was renovated in 2017 and impresses our guests with its interior design. Here, solo travelers, couples and families alike feel comfortable. There is also the possibility for befriended travelers to rent the neighboring beach cabin and Kilstrand house at the same time and thus be on the go with friends and still maintain their retreat option. The outdoor environment will be updated over time with patios and the like.
