Apartment holiday rentals in Skyros

Clean, well proportioned and a very comfy bed. Danae was very helpful even giving me a lift into town at check out. A bottle of water cold was left in the fridge that was very welcome. I did fall during the night as there is a step up out of the bathroom and in my delirious state fell up the step. No injuries though. There was a restaurant right by but the reviews were mixed so I walked 25 mins to Stefano’s. I gave four stars due to the location, without a car you would struggle to get to Skyros town and it was a bit of a trek to get to other restaurants, maybe some recommendations would be good. Also the apartment had issues with WiFi, luckily network coverage is good. There is also nowhere to sit right outside the one I had, other apartments did though, there was a low rough wall which is where I plonked myself. I paid £133 for one night which seems expensive for the location.

Mrs. Georgia has been a great host, friendly, positive, generous, highly communicative. A really relaxed place, fully equipped, traveleld with 6-year old daughter and 10 months baby... Great pool for the kids -and ourselves of course ;-). Would gladly visit the place again!

Anestis was very quick to respond to messages and answered all our questions. He was very friendly and we felt comfortable from the beginning. The room is small but very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the view on the terrace from where the beach can be seen. We were very close to the cantina where it has very good coffee and affordable breakfast, but also to other shops for purchases. The room is centrally located on the street and has space for parking, so we were easy to move to all other areas such as Linaria and Chora.

Our stay at this home was really great! From the very first moment, Mrs. Katerina greeted us with a warm smile and was always willing to help us with what we needed. He gave us very useful information about the island, making our stay even more pleasant. The room was super clean and comfortable, and the location quiet, offering the perfect escape from everyday life. Plus the view was gorgeous and really helped us relax. We highly recommend staying at Mrs. Katerina's accommodation to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience on the island!

Apademia residences exceeded our expectations ! The room is brand new, extremely cosy, neat and clean, very well-equipped and modern. Every room has a beautiful private porch, very relaxing where we enjoyed our breakfast and coffee, or our drinks at night. It is a perfect choice for a few days vacation or even longer, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the Skyros. Efi and her family are exceptional hosts and always willing to provide you with whatever else is needed, if any. We will definitely choose to stay at Apademia again, next time we visit Skyros island !

Anestis's place was the perfect long holiday flat for us. It had a full working kitchen with all the basics and two separate rooms - bedroom and living room. Well designed and kept. We had easy, walkable, access to the beach, restaurants, and mini markets, as well as being really close to the stairs leading all the way up to Chora (Skyros) on foot. All in all I would definitely recommend going there. Anestis was very friendly, discreet and gave us excellent recommendations for the island.

Great location, very nice apartment and wonderful pool. The tranquility and silence was appreciated.

Anna's accommodation is wonderfully located in Magazia on Skyros. In a few steps you can reach the magnificent beach, the neighboring tavern "Stefanos" or the nice little beach bar Korphari. Anna and her mother Maria looked after us very nicely. The apartment has four rooms (two of them small) and a small kitchen-living room. In addition, next to the large terrace, you have the choice between four small balconies. There were four of us and we would be happy to come back.

The house is in a nice location initially because it has a beautiful view either morning or evening. Although it is on the mountain, the distance from the nearest beach is just 4 minutes and the surrounding villages within walking distance. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable.. their dogs were pure love, two separate rooms so there was comfort and they were close to us in everything we needed!! Thank you very much.

Beautiful and cosy apartment.good location

We stayed for 2 weeks in this apartment. we arrived very late but Sofia's mother Maria was awake and let us in. Maria was there most of the time and she was a great host. Very friendly and great with our 2 little kids. The apartment is very close to the village and the local beach. To get to the beaches outside the village you need a car. When we were there it was very quiet. great beaches and restaurant close by. The apartment is directly next to the church. On Saturday and Sunday the bell rings in the morning. didn't bother us though. We had a lot of mosquitos in the apartment. We killed a lot of them in the evening but we're still bitten during the night. Next time I would bring a mosquito net with me. To sum up, good apartment, close to the village and beaches and Maria the host was amazing. thank you, we had a great time

The house exceeded our expectations. It has panoramic views over the sea and surrounding hills. It is calm and peaceful. The house is extremely clean and well furnished. In very hot summer it is cool and breezy.

The apartment was new, clean and had a nice view of the gulf. Only a five minute walk from the beach and a nice tavern with fresh fish and seafood. Mrs Maria was very kind and helpful. I would strongly recommend it. Thank you.

We loved our 9 night stay at Ilya suites by the Sea. Believe me, 9 nights was not enough. We could have stayed longer! Dimitris is the BEST host, he is always there to support your stay. Our room was cleaned everyday, which was such a nice bonus. It was so relaxing on the whole property! There are very good restaurants (about 5) just a short walk to Steni Vala Port, where you can also find breakfast and coffee. To really explore the island, you will need a car. We found incredible beaches with help from Dimitris. Don’t miss Eleni’s bakery near port and Meltimi Restaurant!! We highly recommend this stay on Alonnosis!

I stayed a week in this beautiful place. The house is located in a quiet area, overlooking the mountains and the sea. The communication with Mr. Velis was excellent. I recommend this place!

We had a great week at Gerry's for a great week, the setting was amazing, the magical view!! The rooms and furnishings were nice. We didn't have a car, it was complicated to get to the village but Gerry was there to offer to drive us there if he could. On the other hand, if you have a car, you are only a five to seven minute drive away! There is also a bus stop at the bottom of the house. I think we'll be back!
