Amazing stay at the cottage, the view was especially amazing and the living room was especially cosy. It was quite easy to find but you might find yourself walking a bit too far and finding the back door before the front door like we did haha.

Enjoyed a lovely week in the apartment. A clean well looked after place to stay, really nice having outdoor space and parking. I have to admit that we did not really use the kitchen facilities but had everything you need if you don’t want to eat out. The shower is really good. A short walk and you are in the town centre where if like us you don’t want to cook, there are lots of really good places to eat. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

We had a lovely stay at the Old Brewery. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. It looked just like the pictures and perfectly matched the description. It was the perfect base to explore the Calder Valley, we walked along the canal towpath into Hebden Bridge and caught the bus back, so handy as the bus stopped right outside the property. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!

We had the best stay. Shelia responded straight away when I txt her to say there was no tv reception and she sorted it very quickly. The scones were delicious as was the jam and cream to go with them. The whole flat was so cosy and comfortable. Parking was very easy also. Very close to Knaresborough town centre and a good walking distance away. You can adjust the heating very easily if cold. I would 100% stay here again. The stairs to get down to the flat are quite steep so just be weary of this if you struggle with steps but I have MS and I managed without too much trouble. The bed is also so comfortable. My husband had I had a great night sleep. 😀

Excellent accommodation. Will was very helpful and responded very quickly to our questions. The accommodation is well situated with easy access to Ilkley, especially the supermarket. We will certainly stay here again when we visit Ilkley.

Beautiful home away from home, very family friendly. The house has very contemporary look and feel, lots of character and beautifully decorated. We visited for the weekend with our two children (7months and 5 years), enough space for all of us including everything we needed for the baby. We liked the convenience of self check in and check out, and the location was perfect- short walk or drive to the town.

The cottage was perfect - it felt like a home from home as soon as we walked through the door. The hosts were friendly & approachable, ensuring that we had lots of useful local info, while not being in the least bit intrusive. Great location for accessing the Yorkshire Dales AND for being able to walk into town! Ours was a last minute booking due to a change in our plans; and it was such a lovely experience. We definitely recommend staying here.

I live locally and brought my mum and little furry friend to stay at Carr Cottage for a couple nights while we were having work done on our place. We were looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to get away for a few days and maybe enjoy a few nice walks with the dog. We got all that and more. This cottage was such a lovely respite and we enjoyed every second of our stay. It was the perfect little place for us to have a much needed rest & ease the burden of all the craziness going on back home. The scenery was gorgeous, the location peaceful & picturesque, and the cottage wonderfully cozy. Everything was lovingly prepared and clearly done with a lot of care. We were very impressed with absolutely everything and appreciate that so much thought was put into every aspect of the home and making our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite living locally, we don’t venture up Luddenden nearly enough and we would love to come again. Thank you for everything!

We have had a lovely stay at the boathouse which was just amazing! The boat house its self is beautiful, clean and comfortable with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! It is very well equipt, plenty of towels, blankets and even robes. We loved the hot tub with views over the lake. The location of the boathouse was just perfect for us and the views were stunning! We took our own paddle boards and was so happy to be able to launch straight from the jetty to explore the lake. My daughter also loved feeding the ducks from the jetty. We have had a busy few days on local bike trails, hikes, paddle boarding, boating and having some lovely meals out in beautiful Bowness, but always looked forward to returning to the boathouse! We will definitely be returning! Thank you

My husband and I stayed here with 2 friends of ours for a wedding and it was the perfect place for it. Beautifully decorated space - as shown in the pictures. Spotless and was very well equipped. Pippa was friendly, proactive and responded quickly to us. The location and surrounding countryside was beautiful with local shops and cafes within walking distance. We especially loved the walk in wardrobe which was especially great for all of us to hang our outfits for the wedding in and was fun to get ready in too. Everything was clear and easy to use. Love that there was a coffee machine with a milk frother! We had no issues during our stay and would gladly stay here again.

We had a lovely weekend here,the place was a little cold on arrival due to the weather but soon warmed up . Place was spotless in a good location and the beds were comfy and the kitchen well equiped

Such a wonderful stay! This cottage was neat and spacious, as was the garden out back. The hot tub was clean and well-maintained, felt great, and was easy to operate. Town is just a short walk through some really nice and scenic fields, with a Booths supermarket, a number of tempting restaurants, fun little shops, and interesting history all within easy reach. Really relaxing, quiet, and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in Sophie’s place. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It was also well situated for exploring the delightful city of Ripon and the surrounding area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. Absolutely stunning property with everything you would need for a stay away already in place! It’s just as it looks in the images, very spacious, absolutely stunning bathrooms and full functioning kitchen with all the cutlery and dishes you need! Loved the guest book with all details and instructions for our stay! Can very much tell the host has a lot of attention to detail! Every part of the space was so well thought out, aesthetically pleasing, whilst also being highly functional! I will definitely be looking to book again for my next trip to Harrogate!

This is a fabulous rental. It is beautifully appointed inside and spotlessly clean and tidy. It’s in a very quiet spot with verdant outside space and close to the buzzy pub and restaurant scene in Headingley as well as being within striking distance of Leeds city centre. Jo could not have been more helpful in terms of accommodating us and making us feel immediately at home.

Would highly recommend Eleanor 's place. It was as described, very clean and comfortable, bedding and towels good quality and spotless. Lots of thoughtful extras and felt so comfortable and relaxed. lovely location, easy walk to City. Lovely and quiet at night, perfect location. Eleanor was extremely helpful and accomadating. We had a lovely stay. The property was small & cosy with everything we needed. Great location just far enough to be peaceful but easy to reach the centre of Knaresborough & the waterside. Chris gave great recommendations for local food & drinks & we loved the Mitre for food & had a great night with live music in Track & Sleeper just next door. Loved the view from our bedroom window, we saw a deer & woke up to the birds singing! The staircase took a bit of getting used to 😀 but I loved it!!
