Holiday rentals with a pool in Skaneateles

We were greeted with a welcome card and a bottle of Finger Lakes riesling. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the area. We stayed for Cornell's graduation weekend and going to and from Ithaca took about 25 minutes. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, and the bedrooms were spacious. The guys using the sofa bed said it was not the most comfortable but OK overall. The decor was really charming, and I wish we'd had some down time to read the books John and his co-hosts picked out. I highly recommend this property for a family or small group trip because of the convenient and beautiful location and homey amenities.

Beatriz’s place was exactly as advertised! It was spotless and beautiful and perfect for what we needed. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate for us to use the outdoor areas, but Beatriz and her husband were nice enough to help us get the fireplace going for a late spring cold-weather snap. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was set up great for entertaining. I would absolutely recommend Beatriz’s place if you’re going to Rochester. It is located near lots of restaurants and shopping areas. You can’t go wrong here! We would not hesitate to stay at one of her homes again if we are ever back in the area!!!

Andy was very responsive from booking to checkout! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The backyard pool looked very well maintained too-we were disappointed we didn’t get a chance to use it. Would recommend Andy’s place.

We stayed here for my daughters near-by wedding. It was great to have a place big enough for my family to be together and enjoy the weekend. This is an exceptional property!! The hosts were gracious and wonderful. I booked this long before it was done. ...a bit on a wing and a prayer for what they had hoped to do..... There was no disappointment. The place is very nice. (That is an understatement). Well stocked. Everything you need and so much more!!! The barn was a huge hit. My 5 year old grandson summed it up when he first walked into the upstairs "bonus" room. He turned to his 3 year old brother and exclaimed "(brother's name) ...we've hit the jackpot!" The host has several other properties which I am sure are all as nice....I wouldn't hesitate to check those out if you are traveling elsewhere. But, if you are going to be in the area, do treat yourself and your fellow guests and do stay here.

This was a very beautiful nature space. When I walked in my first impression was the clean smell and open space. I was able to study for a big event and work while looking out at nature. I would definitely stay here again.

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Our extended family of 8 stayed here for Colgate's 2025 graduation weekend. The location was definitely further away than I wanted (not the host's fault of course) but it ended up working out great. Door to door it's a 35 minute drive, so while we weren't able to go 'back and forth' as much as if we were staying closer, it was a great place to wake up in and return 'home' to at the end of the day's events. There was plenty of room for two sets of grandparents, two siblings and the grad's parents. We loved making coffee and breakfast in the morning and enjoying the absolutely glorious view from the house, plus the kitchen table was a fun end of day gathering spot for us all. Shawn was communicative and accommodating, especially when one pair of guests were way ahead of arrival time, allowing them to enter the property early. I had not been aware of DeRuyter or the lake prior to this, but am glad we had the opportunity to enjoy this home and the area!

My children, their children, and I were in northern NYS to bury my husband's ashes so this was not expected to be a fun weekend. Fun it wasn't, but certainly thanks to this house it was relaxing and sometimes despite ourselves enjoyable. Daniel's place was amazing and perfect for our crew and Daniel was so nice, and helpful as a host. The house was spotless and well-appointed and had things to please every member of our group from old lady grandma (me), for adult children, and for their 3-6 year olds. It was near the small towns we needed to get to, Lake Ontario, and the city of Rochester and its suburbs; nothing we needed to get to took longer than 30-40 minutes and most took 20. I hope sometime we can return. Susan

We enjoyed our stay with clean accommodations and well stocked. The only thing I would consider adding is a washer and dryer for convenience.

Amazing stay, heated pool, firepit, outdoor bbq grills, boat ferry around the lake. We had everything we needed from unlimited towels, toiletries, cleaning products, extra pillows and blankets and more. Would definitely recommend this place!

Looked exactly like the photos/matched description. They were also very fast to respond and helpful. The lodge itself was very charming and I loved the amount of space available and that each section had its own bathroom. The private balcony also was a hit for those who wanted fresh air or to observe the snowfall. If you are looking for a more legitimate Airbnb space (like a house) this isn’t for you. But overall, we had a great time (9 of us) and were comfortable with the space. Would definitely come back! The only thing that wasn’t ideal was they closed the outdoor pool due to the weather and we weren’t able to go in.

Very clean, comfortable, and relaxing weekend. A very nice condo on the 4th floor of a luxury hotel that included access to all of the offerings from restaurant and bar, outdoor patio and fire pit, pool and hot tub, nice views of Canandaguia Lake, and just a mile or so from downtown Canandaguia. Check in and check out instructions were straightforward. Good communication with the host. The price may be a bit more than other places in the area but you have access to all the offerings of a high end hotel on the edge of the lake. I would recommend a visit here!
