Ella and Mathias are such kind hosts! They answered all of my questions right away. And sended us all the infos we needed to find their place without any issues.😊 The apartment is even prettier than on the pictures and for us the highlite was definitely the bed because you climb up the stairs and when you look out the window at night you see the beautiful city lights. We really recommend this place!😊Everything was perfectly clean and the bathtub was a huge plus same as the washine maschine you have everything there to feel right at home.☺️ We would definitely come back!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!

The apartment was the largest we had in Iceland so far. Upon arrival, the hosts greeted us kindly, handed over the apartment and let us into the hot tub. We felt very comfortable.

This is the second year we have stayed at the cottage and we absolutely love it. The view from the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee is one of my favorite parts of Iceland. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need for a stay of any length. Gummi is an excellent host - kind, flexible and response. The final special touch is the hot tub. This is one of the few homes with one. So nice to relax after a day of skiing . We will be back!

What a beautiful place to stay. A lot of care and thought has gone into the house, and our hosts could not have been more friendly and responsive. Thank you Ólöf and Ægir, we had a great Christmas in Ólafsfjörður!

Loved staying at this place! The loft made the living space so big and comfortable! Super easy to use the hot tub and spotted some great northern lights while in the comfort of warm water. :)

This was a perfect place for me and my elderly parents who use walkers to get around. Two bathrooms was a super good bonus. Dalvik is a lovely little community. Close to everything.

A computer glitch deleted our original pre-paid booking at a place which we reserved 5 months prior in Blönduós, and we were scrambling to find lodging. Fortunately, Gunnar was able to accommodate us last-minute at his recently renovated historical home in Sauðárkrókur. The kitchen has modern appliances and the twin mattresses were high quality and comfortable. The house is located walking distance from local restaurants and I enjoyed looking at the fjord from the windows.

Sigrun's house is very lovingly and individually furnished. I immediately felt very comfortable there. A highlight for me was the fantastic view of a part of the harbor and the mountains opposite, simply great. I could also see the "Síldarstúlkan" (Herring Girls) from there, which I had grown very fond of. 🤗 Everything was very clean and super equipped, it really lacked nothing. In addition, the location is ideal for exploring the picturesque Siglufjörður on foot or shopping in the nearby small supermarket. Hostess Sigrun was exceptionally friendly, always quickly accessible and very accommodating. I was particularly pleased with the handwritten welcome greeting. A really nice and personal gesture.

Very nice house in a peaceful corner, lit up at night. The kitchen was very good and the bedrooms on the same floor as well, the sofa bed was very comfortable Has a washing machine and a very convenient dryer, all the necessary spices and condiments In addition, Margret was ready to change our arrival dates at her place due to bad weather and our uncertainty of arriving on the right day. The only small problem is the room which is in the basement, very humid Other than that we had a great time at Margret's place

Heiða Kristín’s place was perfect. Absolutely spotless and very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. Great view from the bedroom window too. We’ll definitely be back!
