Cottage at Reynisfjara / beach

KimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at Ragnar’s charming cottage was truly a magical experience. The location is unbeatable - just steps away from the ocean and the iconic Reynisdrangar sea stacks in view. We were delighted to see so many puffins on the cliff edges. Waking up to the sound of the waves and seeing the other-worldly views was unforgettable. The cottage itself was super cozy, clean and well-equipped. What I loved most was being a bit off the main road and having a sense of seclusion and connection to nature. If you’re visiting Southern Iceland and want a unique, scenic and peaceful place to stay, this cottage is a wonderful hidden gem.

Holiday House 3 - Fantastic View

NataliaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
It is a small, cozy cottage with beautiful surroundings. Perfect for one or two people for a quick stay. It was a little too hot , so we turned off the heat over night and it was still warm in the morning. Amazing views at night time. It is a great place to see the Northern lights with no light pollution. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Cottage at Reynisfjara / beach nr 1

LauraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was the perfect home base for southern Iceland. The cabin has stunning views of Reynisfjara beach and free access to walk down at any time. Ragnar was very friendly and helpful and the cabin was cozy and exactly as described. We will definitely stay here again if/when we make it back to Iceland!

Cottage 4 Kirkjubær II-Sleeping bag accommodations

KayRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Beautiful cabin. Host was very helpful and polite when we needed assistance with our heater. Waterfall directly behind our cabin with a great view. In town with many amenities, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, liquor store, few minute drive from two beautiful waterfalls and a historical land site with a cool basalt rock platform formation. Private, with no one in view other than other guests. Things I had wish I’d known: *LINENS NOT INCLUDED, SHOWER IS PAY PER 3MIN*

Jórvík cottage 2, in Álftaver.

BrianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sofia's cottage was so delightful, quiet, clean & a bit off the road, but that was great. It hasld one separate bedroom, which was great, as we had one snorer. Communication was slowish, location given but had problems finding, even though 500 odd people found it. We tried to include link into this but airbnb rejected it. Have told Sofia to include that link to find property better. Would certainly stay again. Mluch appreciated. B A & A

Was a great place to stay in a quiet rural setting. Communication went well and smoothly. And the accommodation looked like the pictures.

A wonderful modern little bungalow embedded in Iceland’s countryside and rugged terrain. Our tiny home felt very private and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The bed was warm, the shower was hot, and the stove worked well. We would definitely return and can’t recommend this enough!

Luxury House nr.6 on family farm

YingRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at the farm for only a day to venture the south side of Iceland, and this is the perfect stay! It is a bit secluded from restaurants, but it was very peaceful and clean. It was a pretty cloudy night, but the view was still amazing and saw some stars! The heated bathroom floors + towel warmers are the perfect touch. In addition, we got a visit from the cat, and that was the perfect way to end the visit. I would recommend this place for those who are looking to get away from the city during your trip. Ingi is also an amazing host and super friendly!

Giljaland tiny house-3

ShannonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cute group of tiny homes in a beautiful setting with designated parking and a wooden walkway connecting the units. We stayed in unit 3 so we had an unobstructed view of the hillside. The laundry room was very much appreciated and they provide detergent too. They also recycle and compost, which we appreciated as we didn't see it offered at other places we stayed. They had a travel crib available for our young son and a nice deck with a table and chairs, so we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening after he went to bed. The place is tiny as described, the couch converts to the bed for sleeping.

Cosy house in south Iceland close to the Interior

BenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hands down one of the best places we’ve ever stayed! If you’re in southern Iceland and you don’t stay here, you did it wrong. It has a full kitchen, nice bathroom, spacious living room, good sized bedroom, and large deck to sit on and enjoy the view. Absolutely would 100% recommend and stay there again if back in the area!

Cottage at Reynisfjara / beach

TriciaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cozy cottage right next to the beach. It reminded us of our family cottage back home. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. Ragnar met us and personally showed us around and answered any questions we had. It was so nice to visit with him and hear stories of growing up on the farm. And what fun watching the Puffins fly in at 10:00 p.m. down on the beach as he advised. And Edda was so kind to provide weather warnings for us the day we were leaving. I could feel how much they cared! Would love to stay here again if we ever get back to the area.
