Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Eaglerock Guesthouse and tours

This is a beautiful house built in 2012 with big windows witch is needed to get all the amazing views around and there is very little light pollution so good chance to see the northern lights. It's built in a large lava field from the eruption Eldgjá (934) For bookings summer of 2025 june until september we are offering the house for package deal, ATV-glacier, highland or horseback riding tour. Kársstaðir

Kársstaðir is nicely located only 5 minutes from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. It is a 25 year old summerhouse that we have renovated to more modern, yet romantic Scandinavian farm house decor. The location is quite unique, in the middle of volcanic pseudos with a perfect view over Vatnajökull to the east and Mýrdalsjökull to the west.
