This place is located in a beautiful location, has lots of space, a very nice great room with tons of windows and good amenities. We very much enjoyed the views and having a nice open kitchen for cooking. Further, the inside sauna was enjoyable and easy to use. The hot tub is wood-fired, so it requires about 5 hours to get going - which we couldn't make work for a one-night stay, but they do disclose that in the onsite information. The location is very secluded - which is great for outdoor privacy. They even had a full washer / dryer - which is helpful compared to the combined version. Overall, this is a great place - you should feel comfortable booking.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was warm and clean on arrival. The beds were super comfy and the hot tub ready for us to get in.

This was a beautiful cottage!! It was one of the expensive places for us but it was the largest accommodation space wise for our family of 4. So close to the lava fields, we really enjoyed the drive this place ..20 mins away from the ring road. It gave us a chance to drive away from the main highway and slow down and stop and see horses and sheep on the way with no one around. It was a perfect mid spot location after visiting Jökulsárlón Lagoon and Diamond Beach. It was very close to the Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon which is what we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, and great space. We didnt get a chance to use the hot tub but it seemed so convenient. We had an issue with the shower not draining and Jon came right away to fix. Only suggestion I'd make is to add a laundry facility, it would be so convenient. We would definitely stay here again, loved this place! Thank you Jon & Linda!

We would have loved to stay longer!

This was our favorite place while staying in Iceland! It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, the views were amazing! Host drove us to the location, so we knew exactly where to go. Sauna was fabulous, wish we would have had a bit more time to use the hot tub.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mosi Hut! Audur was super helpful in suggesting hikes and things to do in the area. She was incredibly welcoming and warm, making our stay so special! We would come back (Northern Lights trip?) and would definitely recommend Mosi Hut to our friends who are planning to visit Iceland! Thank you Audur, for making our trip so memorable.

Un'esperienza unica a contatto con la natura Islandese! Eravamo un gruppo di 8 persone ed avevamo le due baite con le camere tutte per noi. Paesaggio stupendo al risveglio al mattino e poi la sala comune veramente una chicca: pianoforte, chitarra e giochi da tavolo. Il bagno separato dalle camere l'unico inconveniente, ma lo si accetta per tutto quello che c'è d'altro, tipo la sauna :) unica pecca la cucina non pulitissima e la poca illuminazione a disposizione su quell'area. Ci passerei sicuramente una notte in più. Consigliatissimo per gruppi numerosi!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Such a cute house in a unique location, and we really enjoyed the living area and couch for relaxing after a long day out and about. It worked perfectly for us to do day trips to various places along the south coast. Location was a little difficult to find, so I recommend utilizing the exact GPS location they provide in the description. Highly recommend!!

Très beau logement, une parenthèse hors du temps pensant 2 nuits, quel bonheur. Literie de qualité, au calme, logement propre. Arrivée facile, bonnes indications. Je recommande +++

We travel a lot and have used numerous airbnb's or vrbo's. Agusta's "cabin" is easily in our top 3 ever. It was amazing! Lots of space. Well appointed. Fantastic kitchen and living area. Thought of everything. Loved, loved, loved it. Only slight negative is the long gravel road (+/- 10 mins) to get to the place, but if you want seclusion and darkness for the northern lights, that is an easy price to pay. The town of Vik is 30 to 40 minutes away. That is where you'll find the restaurants and grocery store, so plan ahead. Special bonus was introducing my children to a vinyl record player with a good selection of albums.
