Received a warm welcome when we arrived. The accommodation felt very cozy from entrance immediately. Location was ideal for exploring the black forest and even the Swiss alps by car. Surrounding was very pretty with also a bunch of nature/trails to explore in a close vicinity. Everything in the accommodation was fresh and clean. Living room nicely finished and comfortable. Kitchen had all appliances we needed to prepare a nice proper evening meal. Bathroom is practical but complete. Bedroom is spacious and beds were not too hard, nor too soft. Complete appartement is fit with roller shutters and the terrace in front had a very nice view. All practicalities aside, Irene and her husband were extremely welcoming and really put in their effort to make it all as comfortable as possible while staying there. We were even offered to go with her for a walk on one of her favourite trails nearby. Also, not to be forgotten to mention, they harvest their own very delicious honey. 10/10

We had a wonderful week in this modern holiday apartment! The accommodation is tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the spacious bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen – perfect for preparing breakfast, pizza, or pasta with tomato sauce. In the evenings, we enjoyed our meals on the terrace and ended the day in a peaceful atmosphere. The location is ideal – a perfect starting point for hikes in the surrounding area. Bad Säckingen is within easy walking distance, and by train, you can quickly and easily reach Basel, Schaffhausen (Rhine Falls), or even Lake Constance. The host was always available and very helpful – we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We’d love to come back!

AMAZING stay. Bernhardt was attentive and helpful when needed, and also left us to enjoy the stay. I appreciate his recommendations for a car repair and restaurant to help us after a long drive and getting in late. The deck immediately on the lake is the highlight - heated pool, outdoor dining, outdoor shower, sun loungers and steps directly into the lake. Paddle boards were available. The private driveway cannot be taken for granted, this place gives privacy and a quick drive to town. You can enjoy the amenities and views of the area without leaving home if you like! Or, get out for an amazing adventure. Entertaining bird watching! This place is highly recommended and we look forward to coming back.

An immaculately clean and well-presented apartment, with all the necessary amenities. Beautifully situated, with wonderfully landscaped gardens, near to the forest and the river, and also not far from the town centre. The hosts were also extremely kind and welcoming. My stay was very productive, restorative and reflective. I look forward to returning in the near future!

Great apartment in a quiet neighborhood in Bad Säckingen! Bathroom/toilet is very spacious! Living room and quiet bedroom with terrace on the first floor! Private parking in front of the house! Thanks, Thomas I'd love to come back soon! Richard

I rented this workshop for professional reasons in the area. The presence of the air conditioner was essential, since I had arrived towards the end of the 2024 heat wave, and it was still very hot. The kitchen is small but ample for a person or couple. The neighborhood is quieter than I expected. It's right next to the train station but it's a residential area without traffic, and not a central village square, which is across the railroad tracks. So it was very quiet. The highway is nearby, but you only hear it as a distant white noise. And trains only pass 3–4 times an hour during the day. Chantelle was very friendly and helpful. If you have a car, Eiken is also a good starting point for walks in the area or in the Black Forest. Basel is accessible by train, with about 30 minutes of travel.

My son & I had a great stay! The apartment is tastefully converted from industrial use, was clean and very well equipped. The station platforms were 5 minutes walk away and there was a parking space right outside. The road outside is not a through street, so was not too busy, but there is a heavy vehicle maintenance facility opposite, which made a little noise on the one working day of our stay. There is a good sized fridge, but no freezer and also there is limited privacy due to the bathroom being part of the bathroom and the two rooms not being fully separated from each other. Overall would love to stay again!
