Beachfront holiday rentals in Sion

Marvellous stay over the Christmas period. I know that this would be a wonderful place to stay at other times of the year since it is so convenient for Lutry and exploring the Lavaux region, making the most of walking trails and public transport and boat links. The accomodation is very attractive and well appointed. The view from the balcony is breathtaking.

We very much enjoyed our 4-day stay in Rob's charming and spacious chalet in Vex. Everything went smoothly. Self-check in was straight-forward (lockbox), the chalet was super clean, the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance from two sides of the chalet, and the wild flowers in the surrounding meadows. Ines, the manager of the Chalet, was very helpful and responsive. We hope to be back one day. Thank you Rob & Ines!

Great location right on the lake. Wonderful amenities. Directly across from the Villette VD train stop. The house was beautiful, clean, and felt like home. The views were amazing. My husband, myself, daughter and son in law had plenty of room. It was great to be able to have a full kitchen too. Incredible trip!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Carole is a warm and hospitable hostess as she flexibly scheduled an arrival time based on our air flight and welcomed us in person to show us our “home away from home.” Very convenient location in charming Lutry, situated on the shores of Lake Geneva. The 2nd floor of the home was spacious, private and very accommodating. Conveniently located with nearby bus stops, a market, and picturesque walkways along the lake. The overlooking balcony was our closing of most evening. Our sincere appreciation for your kindnesses.

Everything was perfect! The apartment is in a beautiful location right by the lake, so we spent wonderful evenings on the balcony enjoying the sunset. It's very spacious — even bigger than we expected — spotlessly clean, and furnished with love. We’ll definitely come back again!

We had a beautiful stay at the house, it’s very quiet, has a wonderful setting and is well equipped. Stuart was very responsive and forthcoming. You do need a car for getting around for shopping and visiting nearby attractions, and the traffic can get dense during rushhour. This house is highly recommended if you want to spend some beautiful days at and on the lake Geneva.

we had a great weekend. We had come as part of Evian's triathlon and we were delighted to see that the apartment overlooked directly on the marathon loop! The apartment is great and the view of the lake is breathtaking. Sarah is a very responsive host, full of good advice on walks, restaurants etc... She was also kind enough to allow us to leave a little later than expected. I fully recommend

The apartment was bright, friendly and nicely decorated as described. Everything you need is there and you are so close to the water that you feel like you are right on the lake. Evian is easily accessible by car and also on foot where there are many shops and good restaurants.

A fantastic and privileged position/opportunity right on the waters edge with private access to the lake for swimming etc. amazing view with it. private parking. good value Boulangerie directly opposite. within 3k of evians Les bains centre. concierge service included through Julien- which essentially means food delivery/ chef / boat tours etc can be managed directly if you wish + comprehenaive local advice.

I would particularly like to highlight the light-flooded rooms, the modern and simple furnishings and the direct access to the lake! The rooms all offer plenty of storage space. Fitness equipment and swimming equipment are provided. The contact with the landlords is straightforward and accommodating. In the evening, the roof terrace is nice to use. During the day it is quite noisy up there due to the national road. But you can escape to the lower floors and the balconies on the lake side. All in all a great place to stay!!!

This was the most magical place I've ever rented on Airbnb. It's so unusual and so romantic, it's a time-capsule of a 19th century lake villa. It is not a boring, modern, cookie-cutter place like you see in countless other listings. Instead, it's exactly as described: A historic home with a zillion bedrooms (16? we lost count), most of which look directly out to Lake Geneva. The rooms are like something from a 1930s French film -- simple, wallpapered (sometimes a bit tattered), most with sink, a few with small balconies. Bathrooms and toilets are separate (and one bathroom is modern and renovated), and shared between several rooms. Downstairs, there's a large, dated kitchen with million-dollar views out to the lake, a huge dining room, a parlor sitting room, a TV room, a kids play room with piano... It's endless! Oh... and then a terrace wraps around the whole thing. And there's a yard! With a trampoline! Seriously, we loved this place. Not for fussy renters. But absolute magic.

We immediately felt at home. The house and the huge property exceed the description and the photos. Everything is there, everything works. The place is idyllic and quiet with beautiful views and a pleasant outdoor area, table and chairs in the shade of a tree, perfect for hot days. The home is ideal for people like us traveling with a big dog, because the property is completely fenced and offers outdoor space and shaded resting places. In a few minutes, you will be at the lake, where there are long beach walks. If you like, you can walk to the center of Lausanne. Our hosts were immediately available for any question, helpful and cordial. We would have liked to have stayed longer and will definitely be back!
