The house has been recently renovated and equipped with the necessary comfort. Through the terrace, you can access the garden with a wonderful Jacuzzi, which you can enjoy for free. TV, wireless internet and music system are provided. There is a private parking space in front of the house.

The castle is very quietly located and surrounded by forest, fruit orchards, meadows and fields. The ideal starting point for beautiful cycling, hiking or vespat tours. But the city floors also come to their liking with the cozy cities of Hasselt, Genk, Liège, Maastricht and Aachen within a radius of 40 km. The castle is divided into several homes including this vacation home. If booked in time, the host can arrange electric rental bikes.

The apartment is 6 minutes walk from the station. Grote Markt is only 1 minute walk through the King Albert street. ( the shopping street) We offer free fitness day pass at I fitness in the TT district within a 5-minute walk.

Spoorweghut 'Miners' Accommodation'

Next to Racour station is the cabin of the piochers or railway workers. In the past, railway workers used this‘ barrack ’to store their materials, to eat their sandwiches or even to stay asleep. The 3-metre by 3-metre classified building was completely rebuilt in 2015 in wooden scaffolding and masonry. It is now furnished as a comfortable tractor cabin for 2 persons. Free bicycles are available to our guests!
