Doris and Jürgen are perfect hosts! In addition to a warm, uncomplicated reception, we were welcomed with a well-stocked fridge and wonderful suggestions for our holidays in the soothingly bright, tastefully furnished and excellently equipped apartment. What joy when you are laughed out of every window of the Black Forest. With the nearby public transport, we could relax to the Nordic Center Notschrei for winter sports, enjoy fantastic huts and alpine panorama as well as explore the university city of Freiburg. During our stay, we experienced Fastnacht with traditional fools in classic but also modern costumes, who have successfully displaced the winter. I was delighted by the small weekly market, a few steps away, the nice Alsatian stalls with excellent cheese and many more. It was a successful vacation, thank you so much dear Doris & Jürgen!

We stayed here with family of five and really loved our experience. The space was super cute and designed incredibly well. We had plenty of room to stretch out. Our favorite standouts would be the hike to the waterfall right out the back door, the sauna at the end of a long day, and our kids loved the toys they had on hand. As a family we loved eating on the patio and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It was easy to get to a number of great close by destinations. We loved it and want to come back in the winter!!!

Located in the basement of a private house. Julia welcomed me warmly and was always easily accessible. I had problems with my network, there is only wifi reception, and Julia offered me help immediately. The area is just gorgeous with you. The apartment is as described. There's nothing missing. 🙏

We had a lovely stay at Anna and Paul‘s place. The place is located in the outskirts of Sexau which served as a lovely hub for some hikes in the Black Forest. Anna and Paul are super friendly and responsive. Highlight for us was the well equipped kitchen which had some basic kitchen staples available in a little cupboard. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Our stay in the apartment was great. The environment is beautiful, the owners of the apartment and the host on site were both very communicative and friendly. The apartment was beautiful and convenient. We enjoyed it very much!

Our year 2025 could not have started better. Thanks for that 🙏 We were greeted personally by Milla & Grace, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to the brief introduction from the two. For us, it was the perfect place to relax, the incredibly beautiful panoramic windows invite you to do yoga or linger. Two other pluses were the sauna and the great free-standing bathtub. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the spacious apartment to anyone looking for something special.

Very spacious and tidy accommodation, with all the comforts. Good location to discover the Black Forest. Beautiful view of the castle ruins of Waldkirch. Within walking distance of the village. Friendly and helpful host.

We had a fantastic stay in a fully equipped apartment. Everything is provided. The beds are great. It is also really a king size. We always select on that. I am tall and wide, so that was nice. The wifi is very good. The area is beautiful. The view from the apartment is phenomenal and wide. We have seen wildlife from the apartment (deer and various birds of prey). We had a view of the mountains and the cattle of the father of the owner of the apartment. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We regularly had a chat with them. From the apartment, beautiful routes and places are accessible at a reasonable distance, as well as large well-stocked supermarkets and restaurants and terraces. For hikers, this is the end of the line. But when you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely the place to be. Really a super apartment in a super location. Highly recommended, at an affordable rate.

Very nice apartment with many possibilities to sit outside in the garden and by the pond. Also a great opportunity to grill on the open fire, especially nice for the summer months. The hosts were very friendly and always approachable, everything very straightforward. Also perfectly equipped for traveling with a dog. Very quiet apartment, from there directly many beautiful hiking trails, also with refreshment stops, within walking distance. And you can also get to Unterkirnach very quickly, with a beautiful old town center and places to walk, including by the lake. Full recommendation for a wonderful Black Forest holiday with pure nature.

Lovely and well-thought out apartment. Perfect for couples or digital nomads. Benjamin put great thought and detail into the space, which had everything we needed--even hot water bottles, blankets, and chargers. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and walkable, and we enjoyed the local restaurants and live music. The apartment had lots of windows, a comfortable bed, and plenty of dish-ware and cutlery to cook. Benjamin is friendly, helpful, and quick to respond, and the space was clean and well-furnished. Would recommend to anyone, and am hoping to one day return!

We had great time in Black forest visit and had relaxing time in apartment. The apartment was as it was described. Apartment has very good air ventilation, well equiped and easy access to all facilities provided especially the swimming pool and sauna. Thank you for letting us have beautiful memories and responding to our queries immediately.

We had a great stay! The house was beautifully decorated and, more importantly, spotlessly clean. It’s just a 10-minute drive to Triberg Waterfall, with easy access to Villingen-Schwenningen (25 min), Badeparadies/Titisee (40 min), Schluchsee (50 min), and the world’s largest cuckoo clock (13 min). There are small hiking trails nearby, we tried one that started right outside the apartment. Parking was full due to the holidays, but a free lot is right across the street. The indoor pool and play area looked great, though we didn’t have time to use them. The balcony was shaded and peaceful. Utilities were well provided; only thing missing was shower toiletries like body wash or shampoo. Everything else was perfect, highly recommended!

We stayed for a week in this beautiful apartment in Waldkirch and felt very comfortable there. The apartment is just as beautiful as in the photos and the communication went great. Tomasz and his wife always responded super quickly to questions and were able to help us quickly. We would keep coming back :)

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, quiet and ideal for a family vacation. We had nice relaxing days at Marcos very neat and clean place. You can do many great things in the area and the cottage is located directly on various hiking trails. We hosted an Easter animal search for our son in the beautifully landscaped garden, which rounded off our stay. The sauna area is also a real highlight. Bakeries, restaurants, supermarket and a really very modern new playground are all within walking distance. The place is definitely family friendly and dogs are welcome. Marco is very friendly and always available, which is also a big plus. We highly recommend the apartment!

We spent a weekend as a family and everything was very nice and the beds were super comfortable.

We spent two pleasant nights in this apartment and felt very comfortable. The place was clean, well appointed, and exactly as described. The location is quiet yet well connected – ideal for relaxing and exploring the surroundings at the same time. The contact with the host was very friendly and uncomplicated, also the check-in and out went smoothly. We were traveling with children and even though the apartment is not specifically designed for families, everything worked well for us. We spent wonderful days at the property. The location was great. Restaurants were quick to reach and there was plenty of choice. The whirlpool and the view were simply beautiful. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime!

Damien was very welcoming when we arrived. Very clean accommodation. Everything is correct as in the photos. Great place for couples. I highly recommend it!

This accommodation is a nice place to meet with your spouse, to disconnect, all in a super quality loft. Close to the pedestrian area and nice restaurants and bars. i recommend + ++ ++

This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in – absolutely spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked with seasonings and a variety of beverages. Both the living room and bedroom were tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathroom and toilet were supplied with high-quality cleaning products, including disinfectant wipes, which was a lovely touch. Although the parking space is a short walk away, it was still acceptable. One pleasant surprise was the presence of a lift in the building, which made access much easier. It would be even better if there were a clothes rack in one of the rooms, but overall, everything was very well arranged. The host was extremely helpful, and all instructions were clearly communicated. The location is excellent – right in the city centre, making everything very convenient. The only thing to get used to was the spiral staircase, but it added character to the place.
