Charming Tuscany | Rustic Farmhouse and Pool

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine en famille dans cette maison. La maison est charmante, et la vue est à couper le souffle. Nous avons bien profité des espaces extérieurs. A savoir par contre que la maison est relativement éloignée de la route et des villages à visiter (40-75 minutes de route des villages d’intérêt) mais pour des vacances plus sédentaires, c’est un petit paradis. De plus, notre hôte Mauro a été tout simplement charmant - nous avons apprécié la communication rapide et la flexibilité dans l’heure d’arrivée et de départ.

A truly wonderful property, the views were incredible, especially from the bath. An amazing pool and deck area captured the sun from dawn til dusk. Our hosts were perfect, helpful, attentive but never intrusive. All in all this was a perfect experience. We cannot recommend it (and them) enough!

Daniele’s apartment in Barga was ideally situated close to the old town and within walkable distance to everything we needed. There was lots of space and excellent cooking facilities. The terrace was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views of the old town and the mountains.

Wir haben uns als Familie bei Pieter sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war schnell und einfach. Man merkt, dass das Haus neu ist. Alles sehr hochwertig und es macht Spaß sich darin aufzuhalten. Der Pool war für die Kinder das Highlight mit schöner Infinity Sicht. Anzumerken ist auch, dass es in der Gegend aufgrund des leichten Windes ein paar Grad kühler ist, auch aufgrund der Berglage. Das ist sicher im Hochsommer sehr angenehm. Einzig das Internet müsste noch ein bisschen schneller sein. Es gibt in der Gegend ein paar Restaurants mit tollem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und authentischer Küche.

we had a lovely time in the house. It is located in a beautiful part of Tuscany. Very comfortable, extremely clean and great for taking walks. We loved it and highly recommend Marco's place.

Selten so eine gut ausgestattete Wohnung gehabt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll restauriert worden. Wir waren für 3 Tage dort um zu Relaxen, die Aussicht und die Sonne zu genießen. Unser Hund war herzlich willkommen und hat sich im Garten sehr wohl gefühlt. Für längere Spaziergänge und Wanderungen mit unsicherem Hund können wir es allerdings nicht empfehlen. Wir sind beim ersten Versuch an einem freilaufenden, sehr territorialen Hund gescheitert. Tat unserem Aufenthalt aber keinen Abbruch, da das Haus wirklich ein Paradies ist 😀

Als erstes ist hervorzuheben, dass Fabio ein ganz wunderbarer, zuvorkommender und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber ist. Das Haus ist liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Dorf liegt inmitten der Berge der Garfagnana und zusammen mit seiner Umgebung ist es eine Oase der Ruhe. Von Bagni di Lucca aus, führt eine 7 Km lange enge, kurvenreiche Straße nach Lugnano- Monti di Villa. Auf der Strecke passiert man noch 2 weitere kleine Dörfer. Eines davon ist Granaiola, wo man bei Laura superlecker essen kann. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :-) Anne und Helga

We had a lovely stay at Cherry Tree Cottage. The cottage has been beautifully converted and is very convenient. The mountain views were wonderful and there's a great pool for the end of a hot day. It is private, and we ate outside every evening watching the light fade on the mountains. The location is also excellent, both for easy access to shops and also for heading to the mountains to walk. We felt very lucky to find it. Graziana's husband was generous with his maps and walking suggestions, and you absolutely must head to Piglionico to do the interesting, beautiful and well-marked walking trails that have been his passion project. Highly recommended.
