Misty Meadows Retreat

Rustic mother-in-law cottage connected by a breezeway to the main house. This quaint cottage is a studio with a queen size bed, kitchenette with microwave, hotplate, coffee pot, and mini refrigerator. Cable TV and internet, located on 6 acres just 1 mile from the historic Taft district which boasts several restaurants, shopping, the Jennifer Sears Glass Studio where you can watch and make your own glass floats, and of course the beach! And by the way...we are dog friendly!!!

Fun Top Floor Beachfront Condo - Sleeps 4!

'Ships & Giggles' is what we call this beautiful and fun top floor oceanfront condo. It can sleep up to four people by way of a king size bed and a sleeper sofa, has two full bathrooms and a full kitchen. This isn't a hotel room, this is a home! The beach access is literally right out the sliding glass door. If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna!

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.
