Amazing host in Gangtok. The place is little away from the city, however you can easily get taxi from the road. They also have a travel desk person to arrange local tours and taxi. Comfortable stay and spacious rooms. Food is home made. friendly landlord who will also assist if you encounter with any issues during your stay.

our stay was amazing,talk about location or environment everything was fabulous,if you want a break from the hectic city life,must come here. now besides the view you get from your room and the beautiful place you get there...the people there are beyond outstanding,Rajesh himself is a person with evergreen personality,and every member of his family is equally amazing his mom(her never ending smile and kind gesture made us feel we are in our home only), (the food they prepare is the best actually, throughout our stay we were excited for every meal) overall every thing was outstand. hope to visit there again❤️

Staying with Yeshey ji and Shankar ji was a true pleasure. From the start she was responsive and proactively helped us to reach the homestay with ease from our prior location, Darjeeling. The house is beautiful with all the listed amenities and 100% cleanliness. Throughout our stay, we received awesome recommendations for restaurants, places to visit and shopping from both of them. They also offered home cooked food at reasonable price which was so delicious and great that we never skipped home cooked meal made by her whenever our itinerary gave us the chance. It is a blessing to find a home away from home in a strange city and Yeshey’s ark had been just that for us. We left with heavy heart but with a promise come back to them again. If you have plans to visit Gangtok and you have found this gem, our recommendation is to not think twice and go for it. Once again a many times thanks to our lovely hosts Yeshey ji and Shankar ji for their lovely hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at Tongdenlee Homestay! Although the kitchen wasn't available for guest use, the host made up for it by providing absolutely delicious, home-cooked meals that gave a true taste of the local cuisine. One of the highlights of my stay was how smoothly they arranged the Protected Area Permits—everything was handled efficiently and without any issues. The hospitality was warm and thoughtful throughout. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the region with ease and comfort!

Mr Kanchon is very friendly & wouldn't let you feel like you are away from home.. They have own restaurant set up as well. Every Stuffs were very helpful.. I'll definitely recommend this one if you are at Gangtok

I recently stayed at Newa house and had a wonderful experience. Dhana Di was incredibly welcoming and ensured I felt right at home before we arrived at her place. The location of the homestay was perfect for me. It was in a quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers on the spacious balcony - where we friends could have an excellent time together to cleanliness in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooperation and help from the host. We are grateful to the host for serving us hot, delicious, tasty food. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a home away from home.

My first visit to Sikkim was made memorable by Shivani and her parents. From the time of booking, until checkout, Shivani was extremely responsive. They are kind, generous, always helpful, and very accommodative, which made me feel at home. I got a room with balcony, which was comfortable for one person. The kitchen was well-equipped and bathroom was clean. Shivani also very helpfully shared Sharuk’s contact. He owns a taxi, lives close by and is very reliable - do consider taking his services if you need to get around Gangtok. Can’t end the review without mentioning a special mention to the best homemade Sikkimese meal, cooked and lovingly served by her parents!

If you're someone who loves solitude but yet homely and loved, you'll love Michelle’s place. Located in a lovely and quiet surrounding, it was such a great retreat for us (we are from Delhi). People are extremely sweet and courteous especially the caretaker Ranjeet and the housekeeper. Would love to book the space again when traveling to Gangtok. Would also love to recommend the space to all near and dear ones, for sure.

Home away from home with an astounding view of the mountains!! We were in for a surprise when we reached Tashi homestay and saw the under construction elevation of the house…but all our concerns were washed away when we saw the well laid out, spacious and beautiful interiors. It was a perfect and cosy home with perfect hosts. Entire Tashi family was very courteous and always supportive of our needs. Each room was beautifully maintained with cosy beds and well maintained baths. Never for a moment we felt we were away from home. The view from the homestay is spectacular,.you can see the valley in front of you. The Tashi view point is also pretty close this place. The Tashi family treated us with excellent home food and we loved every bite!! The children liked the place soo much, that they wanted to stay there for ever :) Thanks Tashi for being a wonderful host and we will surely will love to stay with you again when we come to Gangtok next time!!

Had a great stay with Mr. Pema. He cooks really good local food. The speciality of the place would be the bonfire and the home fermented rhododendron and blueberry wine which tasted amazing. Must try. Overall very good experience. Highly recommended.

This is my second visit to this homestay and my experience is even more lovely than my first trip. This time I had the grand view of snowclad mountains in the morning and splendid view of star studded sky in the night. As usual, Choden's father took great care of me and Choden's mother cooked delicious meals including the beef momo. Also, it was a pleasure to meet Choden's elder brother. 5/5 Stars We had an amazing stay in Gangtok, thanks to our incredible host karma and his family! They were super cooperative and helpful, arranging bikes and cabs for us to explore the beautiful city. The food they served was absolutely delicious - it truly felt like home away from home! hospitality and warmth made our stay unforgettable.

We stayed at Kora Marchak for 2 days. A group of four friends. This was a very much awaited get away for us and Kora seemed perfect for us. The weather to stay to the staff, it was beyond expectations. The rooms were great and property was private and just what we needed.. Food was very tasty. Special mention to the staff, they were very very welcoming, humble and helpful. Anything we asked, first response was a YES. Jackson, Devika and Ravi ( i hope i remember the names correct) treated us with utmost care. We even cancelled our day-2 plan just to stay in peace at the property. Thankyou Jackson and team. Yangsum farms highly recommended. Great locales,ethnic food, above all great host. It's worth every penny u spend. Danny's place is very quiet and clean, the hosts are amazing and very kind, they help you with food, places and other recommendations, the place is more friendly to bachelors and backpackers who are looking to stay in Pelling. Only problem in the stay is that there are lot of bugs in the common areas since the stay is situated near forest region. Food offered is reasonably priced and tasty.
