Cabin holiday rentals in Sierra City

My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at this cabin. Cabin was well set up, beds comfortable, many games/ equipment available for use. The hot tub and views from the deck were amazing. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location and the best view! Cabin was very cozy and the decks + hot tub views were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook meals. Host was very proactive about home updates and responded quickly to questions!

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved our time here. The house is modern, clean, and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by tall pine trees. It felt like our own private mountain retreat. The master bedroom upstairs was spacious and serene, with a large bathroom and comfy bed. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for cooking meals together—loved the rustic granite countertops and the cozy fireplace that separates the living and dining areas. Both upstairs decks were great spots for coffee in the morning and stargazing at night. Our toddler had a great time running around the safe, fenced backyard, and there was plenty of room for all five of us. The location was great—only a short drive to the lake, restaurants, and Heavenly Gondola. Overall, we’d definitely return and recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing South Lake Tahoe getaway!

We enjoyed the stay at Tina's place. Her house is in a quite neighborhood and very close to the sugar pine point state park. Tina provided very detailed check-in instruction and the place is well-equipped (you can even use the bikes from the shed). We had an issue with the hot water from the shower and she quickly communicated back and arranged for the fix. I recommend to stay in this place.

Always a great stay. Thanks for turning on the air conditioner before we arrived. Understandably, the spa has a lot of chemicals in it, but as one point the smell made me dizzy. Beautiful water feature!

Last minute getaway. It was so peaceful, and relaxing. My friends and I spent most of our time in the cabin to make the most out of our stay here. We saw 3 deers in the area, and we checked out downtown, which was close by. The hosts were very kind as well. Overall, comfy and beautiful place.

Great place to stay with a large family and extended family members. Nicely equipped with games, toys, hot tube, patio furniture, arcade games...... just really a beautiful space. Clean and spacious. The road is a bit busy to pull out on so you have to be very careful about that.

This place is an absolute gem. The decor is stunning—thoughtfully curated with impeccable taste and attention to detail. Everything inside feels high-end, from the furniture to the finishes, making it not just a place to stay but a space to enjoy. The location is perfect, tucked away in a peaceful area yet still close to everything you’d want to explore. But the real showstopper? The backyard. It’s unreal. Our kid had the best time running around and playing freely, and the creek out back is serene and beautiful—a perfect spot to unwind with a morning coffee or evening drink. You can tell the host put real care into every corner of the home. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and stylish getaway

100 year old cabins that have been updated. My cabin had an all new shower! Very comfy bed that seemed brand new. Everything very clean. Beautiful spot in the Feather River Canyon. Quiet except when the trains roll through up the hill— it used to be an active depot. No whistle blowing, but you can hear the rhythm of the rails. Bear in mind that this is 1920s glamping vibes. So if you prefer the Hilton in 2025, you’re not going to like it. But if you love updated old school charm, you’ll love this place. No television (what a relief) and they ask you not to overuse the internet, but plenty of outdoor activities and games, and a private beach on the river. It would be great for a family, or weekend getaway. Thanks to Doug for welcoming me and then letting me have my privacy!

Kristine's cabin was perfect for what we needed. Very quiet and great location to get around Tahoe.

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little spot of paradise with us!

We have stayed here before and love this place and the host! Love being able to walk everywhere and super close to the beach. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

The cabin was amazing. Just outside of town and on a private pond. They have a summer camp across the pond. You hear cheerful kids playing and the serene landscape of the ca foothills. Truly a great place to stay.

Our family stayed at Casi’s home for a wedding weekend and was GREAT! Highly recommended to all! House was Comfortable, had all necessary essentials to make family meals, was roomy, clean, private and enjoyable. Will definitely stay again when in area again! We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful & right on the river. The cabin has everything you need to kitchen supplies, plenty of linen, games and plenty of room. If you are looking for a family/friend getaway retreat this is the place. Our kids had a great time. Host is responsive.

This was our third trip to the cabin in 3 years. That's how much we like this place. Carol is always very responsive, super friendly, and goes the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The cabin itself is lovely, perfectly situated with a great view, and is one of our very favorite places to get away.

This is a wonderful cabin in a peaceful setting. Awesome outdoor space with a huge yard, hot tub and lawn games. Well appointed setup with comfortable beds. Coffee and waffles a nice touch. Communication was excellent and granting us a late checkout on the day our son was headed to his first overnight camp was going above and beyond.

Lisa and Evan are great hosts. What you see is exactly what you’ll get. Their home is comfortable and located close to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend staying there.

Wigloo cabin is a magical place! It’s so beautiful and peaceful. Such a great place to gather, rest,refresh, and connect. Debbie is a great host, she communicates very quickly and it was very obvious she loves and cares for her cabin. This destination will definitely be on repeat for my future getaways.

Had a great stay at the cabin in Clio. I was worried that it would get too hot inside since the weather was in the 80s and there was no AC but the inside stayed pleasant the entire time. We did not even need to use the fans. The place is exactly as pictured. We cooked most of our meals there without any issue. Everything is very comfortable. Enjoyed the history of the place. Neighborhood was pleasant to walk around and peaceful. Near town of Graeagle where we enjoyed the shops, stores, and the ice cream/coffee eatteries. Convenient for hiking in the Lake Basin area.

The cottage is in the woods about 10 minutes outside of Nevada City and exactly as pictured. There was a large bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room upstairs. There was a bathroom with a tub/shower upstairs and a bathroom with large shower downstairs. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you might need to cook. There was a nice deck outside the kitchen and another picnic table and a fire circle at different locations on the property. The driveway is a little steep. We figured out that it is much easier if you swing the car to the left just before you turn right into the driveway. The air conditioning works well. It was a very comfortable stay for our party of five adults.
