Villa holiday rentals in Shizuoka

It was a great introduction to a very different way of life you normally see in media. From the way the home greets you as you walk up a very steep incline of stairs to the view the home opens up to you when the curtains are pulled away, a moment of surrealism hits you, and you begin to appreciate where you are. This was a very pleasant stay, if we ever get the chance to travel back to Japan, I will prioritize staying here once again!

Very nice and beautiful villa, we enjoyed our stay there.

Our party of 8 (one infant and one preschooler) has a wonderful time in this property. the house itself was in a quiet and peaceful location just less than a minute drive from the lake. the kitchen was well provided for and the living area expansive enough to fit the entire group. we had bbq dinners with a decently stocked supermarket just under 10min drive away. in a clear day you can see the peak of mt fuji from the balcony. the hosts were very thoughtful and the baby cot was comfortable enough for the little one. one of the highlights is the hot bath and the sauna, both of which were used on both nights. we would love to come back and stay again if we have the opportunity! the hosts were very responsive and very easy to communicate with. a big thank you for making our stay memorable.

Wonderful place to stay in the Izu national park! Could hear the birds every morning :) the air was so fresh and the views from the house were incredible. I loved staying here. I got to see Kawazu seven waterfalls, Shimoda town, and run along the river using public transportation - was easy! Jim is very friendly and gave great recommendations! Location is great, very close to Kawazu station, and in a very quiet and peaceful location. Would love to come again with my husband next time!

The room was very clean and we had a pleasant time. I am very satisfied with the amenities and dishes!

It was a wonderful place to stay and the trip made it even more enjoyable. The host was super responsive, and I thought I'd stay again next time. I would definitely like you to stay when you travel to Izu.

I was allowed to spend very comfortably.I stayed with my 8-month-old baby, and I was able to stay without any inconvenience.Also, the host was very helpful in answering questions.I would like to stay there again.

Very kind and helpful hosts! We wish we had more time to spend at this beautiful home to make it more worthwhile, but we thoroughly enjoyed the time that we had. Finding the key box was a little difficult, but that was probably because it was late at night and dark. Instructions were otherwise clear and helpful!

Phenomenal property. Perfect home for my huge family of 9 with 3 kids. The 2 private onsens were well loved by the family! & don’t get me started on the breathtaking panoramic view of the Hakone mountain range! 5/5 would recommend this property to anyone!

I used it on a company trip. It was a very clean and calm space, and we all had a comfortable time.The surroundings are quiet, making it the perfect location to relax. The sauna was particularly popular, and I was able to enjoy a luxurious break after a good sweat. Also, I was grateful for the very clear instructions, such as how to check in and how to use the facilities, and that I was able to stay smoothly. I would love to use it again!

This was a beautiful home, the roads to get to it were a bit complicated but that’s to be expected with the location we chose. It was very clean and exactly as the photos show. A great home base for touring around the peninsula!

Thank you for your willingness to accommodate this last-minute reservation! It was a very stylish villa with both coolness and warmth! This grade is hard to come by. Especially the living room is the most cozy! The colored tiles are warm and lovely. And above all, Mt. Fuji is visible from the window!It was unbelievably big, beautiful, and I saw it for a long time. The sauna while looking at Mt. Fuji was also a luxurious time. The children are also very happy. I'd like to visit again in a different season. Thanks again!

Chiyoko was a gem to communicate with, very prompt, very responsive. House was clean and peaceful too. It’s next to a road but its a quiet-ish road, so it wasnt too bad. Comfy beds and linens!

Thank you for your flexibility in responding to repeated changes in the number of guests. It was a nice place to stay, and both adults and children were busy. The location was good, so I was able to go to Lake Kawaguchiko, West Lake, Fuji Safari Park, Kipokipo, etc. We were blessed with the weather and had a BBQ and a bonfire. In the middle of the day, they came in to clean, and I had a comfortable stay. We were delighted to have a chiffon cake from Fuji Yamagata and eat delicious local specialties. I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

We had a very pleasant time! The 100% hot spring and sauna were the best, and I entered and healed many times during my stay.I think it's unforgettable for hot springs and sauna lovers. The host was also very polite, and I felt safe communicating quickly in advance.They explained a lot of things to me in the local area, and I had a worry-free stay. Also, I appreciated being told about local recommended spots and rice restaurants.At the izakaya I was introduced to, the local fish sashimi was very delicious, and all the other dishes were missing! I relaxed in the hot spring and eat delicious food... it was a very satisfying stay.We'd love to go again. Thank you so much!

The grounds were very spacious, and there were many play equipment for small children to play, which was very good. We also got to meet wild deer! The room was also very clean, spacious, and full of openness. It was unfortunate that it rained on the first day, but I enjoyed it even in the room, and the next day it was sunny, so I was able to play as much as I could outside. There are also many bedrooms and can accommodate large groups, so I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

The hot spring, which was the main purpose, was a good size and I was able to relax!I didn't mind the smell of the sauna like it was written by someone else.We enjoyed it with the jacuzzi.The view is also good, you can see the sea and Mt. Omuro.The only car was a bit of a struggle to get in and out.If you have a companion, you might want to have a look at it.

Fujisakura-san was a wonderful host. The place was excellent, offering a clear and unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji from both the terrace and the living room. It was clean, well-maintained, and the host provided detailed instructions that made everything smooth and easy.

We stayed in a large group, but it was very spacious and we had a relaxing time for adults and children! The bedroom was very clean!I'd love to stay again!Thank you!

The place was beautiful and peaceful. Really enjoyed the heated pool (still cool in early June but better than the ocean!). The shower and heated tub were amazing. Just a stunning peaceful place to stay. Grateful we had a car so we could get to the beaches with waves. The little town was still a little sleepy as the summer season had not yet fully kicked in and so many things still closed except for weekends. As English speaking folks the lack of any english instruction for the appliances or even the written house rules was a bit challenging. The house is modern and beautiful. Communication was very engaged prior to arrival, but after our arrival the responsiveness to our questions and concerns was poor and could be improved upon- particularly when we were concerned about their property (a leak) and the check out lacked instruction, so we had to improvise.

Absolutely loved our stay at Olga’s place in Oceanic Villa Minami! The location is stunning, and easy access to the beach. Olga was an exceptional host, providing thoughtful touches and local recommendations that enhanced my experience. The villa itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the ultimate coastal getaway!

This place was the epitome of peaceful. We loved our stay so much and would definitely come back. Host was wonderful, helpful, responsive and friendly. The view is gorgeous and the house is loaded with amenities. Not house related, but just as a tip, it was sometimes difficult to get a taxi if you do not have your own car. That would not deter us from staying at this amazing place again! Absolutely stunning!
