Our dorm style setup creates a spacious environment to help you settle in. The comfortable king beds are wider than double size beds. The sleeping space has a nice Japanese design. Each bed comes with curtains to gives guests privacy, a writing station and own lights. We provide a lock for the room and lockers for your valuables.

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
