Villa holiday rentals in Shinjuku

Our family traveled from America to see Niigata, the birth place of a deceased family member. We enjoyed a home visit with several of our Japanese relatives (some of us meeting for the first time) and followed by a delicious Japanese dinner prepared by Chef Koichi at his restaurant, Shinawatei. The Airbnb is just as described. Full size Japanese refrigerator. It’s nice having one toilet downstairs and one toilet upstairs. Super clean and the beds are very comfortable. The young adults slept well on futons. The views look out at the vast Sea of Japan (it’s too early for swimming, but one family member took a quick swim…the water was quite cold, but refreshing). You must witness the gorgeous sunsets. It is a short walk to the beach. We collected shells. There is one parking space in front of the Airbnb that is easily accessible. We will stay again, hopefully soon!

Very good place to plant your base for a trip to Tokyo.

A perfect Tokyo Central-East home! For two couples this was a fabulous, spacious, modern, well appointed house with easy acess to Asakusa, Ginza, Shinjuku, Ueno and the Keisei Skyliner for transport to/from Narita. We chose to taxi from the house to Nippori Station to catch the Skyliner, cost was 1200 JPY, very easy with the Go taxi app. You can grab a hot can of coffee at the Mini Stop (2min walk), the Family Marts at Iriya metro station (6min) or for that Showa period vibe check out Only Cafe (12min). Inageya Iriya Supermarket had everything we needed for meals, snacks and drinks. Our host Kyo-ya san was flexible and friendly, couldn’t ask for anything better, domo arigato gozaimasu :) This was the last of six AirBnB’s we stayed at during our Japan travel, and it was such a comfortable, quiet, and all round pleasant space to be in as we wound down to head home. 100 percent would stay again, great location and value for money.

The neighborhood was lovely and had a lot of local restaurants and bakeries to try. Commuting was easy and accessable, being located minutes from a train station that connects to the main railway systems. Our host was responsive and helpful with our check in process and ample amenities were provided for our stay. An excellent experience.

Very nice house, close to everything. Calm but well connected. Excellent five days in Tokyo.

The house was very clean and super close to the Skytree with lots to do and eat. The host was very responsive with any questions we had.

The owner was very friendly and fast to respond when the AC went out (they mentioned the house is prone to power outages, but we only had that one incident). A great location far enough but close enough to the action of Ikebukuro, and just a block away from a conbini and grocery store. The house was clean and felt quite spacious for four guests, especially with 2 toilets in the house. We wished there were more basic amenities like scissors, salt and pepper, and paper towels. We would love the chance to stay again if we were to visit Japan in the future!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional Airbnb property with my family, and it was one of the best stays we've ever had. Everything promised was delivered, and the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant by providing thoughtful amenities like slippers, toothbrushes, seasonings, and adapters. The space itself was spacious, well-decorated, and impeccably clean. The attention to detail and the host's dedication to guest comfort made all the difference. We LOVED our stay at Asami's house. There are many walkable restaurants and access to the train is fantastically easy. The home fit our family's needs perfectly, with room for our teens upstairs and comfortable bedrooms downstairs, too. The kitchen/living level was an excellent place to gather after a long day of exploring and we felt right at home. Everything was as listed and the user handbook was very helpful, too. This was a great stay for our large group. If you are traveling with 8 to 12 people this place will work very well for you. It is a 3 story building and the owner resides on the ground floor. The second story has a full kitchen, dining room, two bedrooms, two toilets, one shower and a tatami room that can serve as a living and bedroom (we used it as both). We had 7 adults sleep comfortably on the second floor. The third floor is another bedroom, toilet, shower and small kitchen. Two adults and two children stayed in the third floor. The third floor also has a roof which has two washing machines (which we utilized daily for our week long stay) and hangers for air drying. The surrounding was quiet and felt very safe. There are several grocery stores nearby so we always had food and supplies. Best local station is Minowa and we were 15 to 30 min from most attractions. Disney and Shibuya were about an our away so we either took uber or taxi to these places.

Lei’s Airbnb is very clean and comfortable to stay in. The washing machine and dryer is also very easy to use and useful. The only downside is that it is abit of a walking distance from the train station. But it is alright if you taking bus. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here!

Great place to stay in Tokyo

Great location, close to the station, easy to find. Apartment exactly as described. Host is nice and communicative. It's not a five start resort but the price reflects it and is fair. Area itself is extremely safe and quiet. I had no trouble walking around at night as a woman. Thank you for a lovely time at your airbnb.

Great home in a lovely, friendly neighborhood. The beds were a little uncomfortable but putting an extra comforter on top of the mattress helped. It has great amenities.

Host was very helpful. The place nice, clean and cozy!! Will definitely stay there again.

I have to give Lin 5 stars because she is extremely responsive and responsible. When I wrote to her to complain about the bath towels, she immediately came and gave us more towels. Her place is just a stone’s throw away from Kita-Ikebukuro Station so traveling is convenient. When we arrived, Lin placed a packet of chocolate cake as a welcome gift and we really enjoyed it very much. So much, I went and bought a few more packets to bring home. Best of all, Lin allowed us to leave our luggage at her place after we checked out and went to Hakone for a one day trip. For this price and location and such responsive and flexible host, our stay in Tokyo was made very pleasant. There’s a couple of dryer shop within walking distance from Lin’s place. There’s a sweet shop selling mochi and a shop selling steamed buns and dumplings. There’s also a huge supermarket 10 mins away. Highly recommend this accommodation.
