Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Shem Creek

We needed a last minute accommodation in Mt Pleasant and this house was perfect. Kitchen offered everything we needed and more. My elderly mom travelled with us so the first floor bedroom was a lifesaver. Rain head shower after a very long Saturday (during which we surprised our Daughter at her marriage proposal) was much appreciated! I recommend this home for a family or even 3 couples traveling together. Pull-out sofa bed was comfy too.

This place was such a great find and we had such a lovely stay! Matthew, the host, was super friendly and responsive, and provided us with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. 10/10 would recommend & would stay here again!

My family really enjoyed our stay here! We loved the backyard space, the open floorplan & the location! Very close to Sullivans island which we love! We also really enjoyed the golf cart and riding to Pitt st. That was a new experience and we had so much fun!

Very convenient to Charleston, Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, and Daniel Island. An easy drive to anywhere.

Hiago’s description was spot-on! Everything was as he said it would be. The house was in excellent condition, and the temperature perfect upon arrival. We found everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house private and cozy. Easy access the downtown Charleston, where we spent most of our time. We are planning a return trip to Charleston in the fall and hope the place is available again. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fox Pond. It was in a quiet, peaceful area. The house itself was clean and homey and they provided everything we needed. It’s also extremely close to everything, especially Sullivan’s Island. The sunroom in the back was also a huge plus. The beds were comfortable and I loved that each bedroom had its own full bathroom.

We were looking for something other than a standard hotel and this was perfect. A few issues that came up were adressed quickly.

Our weekend stay here was everything we could’ve asked for! It was a cozy, clean, and calming space perfect for the two of us. Deborah was a great host and I appreciated all of her communication with me so much. Although the space is an attached guest suite it felt very private and we felt right at home. The location is also great, perfectly between downtown Charleston and folly beach. I would absolutely love to stay here again and would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Charleston!

We enjoyed our second visit to Alex and Karen’s place. It was just as pleasant and enjoyable as we remembered it from the previous year. The bedroom is quiet and comfortable, and the washer and dryer were a great convenience for our five-night stay. We found the kitchenette fine for fruit & cereal breakfasts, heating leftovers, and for snacks -- including more of the delicious banana nut bread provided! Alex and Karen are very gracious and accommodating, and their recommendations for restaurants and outings (as well as fascinating local history insights) were quite helpful on this visit. We enjoyed our opportunities to chat with them and to visit with their sweet golden retrievers, Telle and Skye. We would be happy to stay at their Charming Suite again.

Clifton was extremely helpful! It was our 1st time renting a Airbnb & his responsiveness was very fast, making us feel completely at ease throughout our booking and stay. But the real highlight was the thoughtful, tailor-made day-by-day itinerary he provided. It was so much more than just a list – it was a beautifully curated guide. This level of personalized care is rare and incredibly appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay at the historic Whilden House. It exceeded our expectations – even better than the photos. The place was spotlessly clean, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary water, coffee, and a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to King Street, coffee shops and restaurants. Robert was excellent with his communications, making everything smooth. We would definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

The place was perfect. It was clean, cozy, and exactly as described! Julia and Joan were wonderful hosts, incredibly kind and helpful from start to finish. Their communication was top-notch, and all the thoughtful touches around the place made the stay feel very comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

The location is fantastic! Easy to get to, easy to get to the Ravenel Bridge, and close to so many great restaurants, shopping, etc. While a bit dated in the kitchen and baths, the townhome is very comfortable. Beds were incredible - much needed after our long flight delay and getting in at 3am. Jaime was super responsive and very helpful. Parking was right in front, which was helpful. Overall a great stay!

We celebrated our 15th anniversary at John’s place. It was excellent from start to finish. He was very proactive and professional regarding communication prior to our stay. Check in and out instructions were very clear and streamlined. The place was perfectly clean and peaceful. So quiet and yet very convenient to lots of restaurants, beaches, and all of the local regions. Excellent stay.

Jeffs place is a lovely cozy condo . Great for us, a couple, to stay in. It was very clean and has most everything we needed. Jeff is a very nice and responsive host . We were not expecting to be in such a public area but, we could walk to beach and that was great !

Really nice condo for the location at Wild Dunes. So easy to get to the beach. Mona was extremely responsive and helpful.

Elizabeth responded quickly to questions. She is friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. We enjoyed her condo so much we extended our stay. The condo itself was very clean and exactly as advertised. Very close to private pier and beach. Was nice to go to the beach without the crowds of public beaches. Very close to Patriotic Point, Forts Sumpter and Moultrie. Many restaurants within walking distance. We hope to make it back next year!

Chandler was very helpful when we had something come up the day of our check-in. He was super helpful, quick to respond, and easy to communicate with. The unit was just as pictured, tastefully decorated, and super clean. His check-in instructions were very easy to follow and the welcome book inside the unit answered any questions we had during the stay. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails on the screened porch. Peaceful and relaxing, just what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again!

Stunning views from an open deck and a super comfy screened deck. Quiet serene atmosphere. Great kitchen amenities. Would definitely like to return.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was absolutely perfect — right off a busy road with its own private entrance, which made coming and going on foot super convenient. Parking was a breeze with four passes provided, and the loading/unloading zones right in front of the building saved us from hauling bags from the garage. The room itself had a big, comfy bed, double sinks, and access to a lovely rooftop lounge and balcony. The walls are definitely thin, as other reviews mention, but the hosts thoughtfully provided a sound machine which made a big difference. A couple of small suggestions: tissues in the room would be a nice touch, and while we didn’t need one, a microwave could be helpful for longer stays. Overall, a great home base for the week and we’d happily stay again!
