Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Severn

I stayed here while visiting a friend in DC, and the apartment itself was exactly my speed: comfortable, no-fuss, in a classic 1950s building, and a perfect view of the Capitol ( the balcony was perfect for morning-coffee contemplation). Everything was clean and as expected (ie: the WiFi and A/C saved my life). The free parking spot was also a major W against the hellscape of DC street parking. The host was genuinely the best. Every little question I had was answered kindly, which made the stay EASY. Also, having access to the gym was a nice touch (OK I mostly stared at the treadmill and called that cardio). Anyway, If you’re looking for something simple, well-located, with a direct window into DC, this is your spot. I’d absolutely stay here again.

This is our second time staying with Wanda and it was even better than the first time. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you need if you like to cook your own food. But if that’s not your thing there are a bunch of fantastic restaurants to choose from within walking distance (the hosts have fantastic recommendations!) The bathroom had more than enough towels and toiletries for the three of us and was well stocked with everything you could need. It’s within walking distance of the university as well as the metro if you want to do some touristy stuff as well (which we did on our last day). The hosts are super responsive and kind and quick to update if anything is wrong. If you’re super comfy girlies like we are, there are plenty of blankets to go around while enjoying the super quaint living room. It’s one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at and has set the bar for every subsequent Airbnb we have stayed in. we will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in DC!

Absolutely loved this space. The location is great and allows for exploration of the city. The space itself was clean and spacious. My favorite piece was having access to the gym within the Fairmount hotel (if im not mistaken). Lastly, host(s) are extremely responsiveness. I had questions about the property prior to booking as i was booking extremely last minute and I received a quick response.

Everything was perfect! Very clean and comfortable, and within walking distance from metro station. It was everything that we needed. Thank you for having us and can’t wait to be back in the future!

Cute & spacious boho apartment. My family of 5 was very comfortable inside. Metro & restaurants were close by (5 min or less walk). Free parking pass was great. Currently there is a lot of construction happening in the parking garage and on the street but it wasn’t too loud and once you got used to the few streets that were closed it was easy to drive and walk around the neighborhood.

I was here to finish up my internship after an emergency move was needed from my previous apartment. It exceeded expectations. From small details like putting a bottle of wine out with a note to big details like a full guidebook of the area - Uches place was fabulous. The care was a breath of fresh air in comparison to many other experiences. Would absolutely recommend

Love this clean calm space-the balcony was wonderful. Mark was super responsive, checked in on us and we had everything we needed-especially in the kitchen. Great location for walking to restaurants and stores. Will definitely stay again!

This was an awesome stay! If you have infants their place is a must as it is easily baby proofed and has so many accessible items!

Lucas was great.! Had a few hiccups because of the holiday season and Lucas went above and beyond to help solve the issue!

Very nice place to stay near Gaylord convention center. Super clean condo. All the essentials are there. Lots to do at the resort as well as nearby walking distance. Having a baby in the group we did quite a bit of laundry. A laundry room was on our floor with two washers and four dryers and free of charge. We barely passed anyone on the seventh floor. We would def stay here again.

Where do I start? This was the most perfect place to stay. From the ease of the check-in process to the amenities offered, this was the best AirBNB experience ever. The room looks even better than in the pictures for starters. It was the perfect amount of space for all 6 of my family members. The amenities offered for the kiddos were a game room, pool, and there were activities for all ages hosted by the resort most evenings. Any kind of restaurant you could think of was within walking distance & some even offered a 10-20% discount for staying in the area. The rooms were clean upon arrival. I had 2 issues during my stay and they were resolved within 5-10 minutes of me texting the provided number. Unheard of. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The concierge service even helped us planned our Washington DC activities for the day. I cannot rant and rave enough about this accommodation. Don’t hesitate to book. Do it now!

Trip went very well worth every penny. Owner was very helpful answered whenever we called to help with check in gave us no problems about playing music on their Alexa or living room tv. Would get again for another trip.

Rosalyn's House was laid out perfectly, with lots of natural light and beautiful views of the gardens outside. The two-tone paint on the walls in the living area and nicely selected art was definitely a step above the average rental house. The Kitchen was one of the best equipped we have seen, and we loved the coffee options. The appliances were top notch. Rosalyn was always available to help us with questions and respond with help. The home was clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our stay!

I travel a lot with a group of 4-7 friends and we have booked many Locations, Melissa's house was the best. I can not list everything that made us feel at home but just to mention a few; The entire house is super clean and things are very well arranged, the kitchen is well stocked. I honestly never seen any other house this stocked, it will be very hard to open a cabinet and don't find what you need. The bathroom are not lacking anything, all the supplies you would want and more. Its in a very quite neighborhood easy to walk, find and access, the yard was very spacious with a perfect back porch. Melissa will proactively communicate and let you know everything in advance which made our stay easy and comfortable. I never had to reach out to ask for anything, and if i did, am sure she would be very responsive. I will be staying here whenever i am visiting the area in the future. Perfect house and worth every minute we had access to it.

Very, very clean and spacious. Adrian sent very clear check-in directions and responded promptly to communications. He also provided a thorough guest manual. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The space was more comfortable than in pictures and the gym equipment seemed very nice. We were very happy with our stay.

My partner and I stayed here at the end of my visit to MD. The area was beautiful with a lot of trees around and a peaceful neighborhood. The inside of the apartment looked even better than the photos, it felt very much like our own space. Every room was extremely clean, to the bedroom, the bathroom, to the living room. We appreciate that a microwave and mini fridge was provided and I would also suggest other guests bring paper plates and plastic cutlery for their stay. The neighbors do have a small child so things can get noisy but it was never too much of an issue, and was never late into the evening. Sherri was extremely responsive and kind, truly a pleasure to communicate with. My partner and I enjoyed our stay here and absolutely look forward to future stays.

We had a comfortable stay at Joseph’s house, which is located in a nice neighborhood with stores and markets nearby. He was responsive to all communications. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a variety of coffees, sodas and snacks provided. I would consider staying at his house again if the need arises.
