Apartment holiday rentals in Senhora da Hora

By far one of the nicest 1-BR Airbnb's we've stayed at. If you like contemporary architecture, lots of space, good natural light and an uncluttered apartment, this is the perfect spot for one or two people in Porto. Very central and touristy location, but the area is great to easily walk to restaurants, along the river or a metro ride across town. Comfortable bed in the back of the apartment, so it's a nice place to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with nice tableware, a and a nice eating area. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

You are in the center of old town historical monuments. The washer and dryer saved me. There’s a supermarket about 5mins away. Close to everything and super quiet in the evenings.

Absolutely worth it for the view! It’s incredible. It’s also well located, right next to the bridge for easy access to Porto. Definitely recommend!

Nice, clean, good location. The only thing was there were a lot of switches and it was a little bit challenging to figure out which lights were controlled by which switch :-)

small studio next to the city's main metro station: Trindade (5 min walk max). We were able to do a lot of walking tours because it's close to the main attractions. 20 min walk and you are at the SAO BENTO train station which allows you to travel further or 15 min by metro to the CAMPANHA station allows you to make more distant visits: Aveiro, Miramar. Also enjoy Braga and Guimaraes.... In short, a very beautiful destination thanks to an ideally located accommodation. Teresa has always been very responsive to our messages. From arrival at Luis place I felt at home and in the company of a wonderful host. Luis contacted me daily to make sure everything was OK and provided recommendations for activities and places to visit. I enjoyed the pedestrian zone, the parks, the bookstore the riverside and churches all on waking distance from the apartment. I was pleased to meet his daughter Teresa who make me feel more like part of a family. I will always remember Luis kindness and charm. Thanks also for helping me get a taxi for my early ride to the airport. I will definitely book your beautiful place again on my next trip to Porto.

Don’t look any further. This place was the perfect airbnb. It was spotless, check in was flawless, host was quick to respond and gave great recommendations. Place is located near many great restaurants and cafes. We loved our stay and wish we were staying longer.

Nunos home was just perfect for a week in Porto. We loved the patio and the architectural details. There is a supermarket and a nice bakery down the street. Nuno was so nice, helpful and just a perfect host. Thanks Nuno, we’ll come back :)

We loved our stay at Pedro’s apartment- really well located right on the beach, with easy access to amenities and the wider city. It was really fantastic to have somewhere to sit outside and look at the ocean after sightseeing. Pedro was a fantastic host, really friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend this place!

Ricardo gave us a warm and nice welcome and provided us with a good list of sites and activities to discover Porto and the surrounding area. Check in and out were supereasy. The apartment is very tidy and well equipped with everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The view on Porto and the Douro is just awesome. Since we used public transport, it was easy to go around by local bus 901 and 906 and metro. From the airport the bus stop nearest to the apartment is Dr. Antonio Granja. At the moment there are huge construction sites both at Gaia and Porto which cause traffic inconveniences. Despite a little dog barking quite often and longtime, the apartment is located in a quiet surrounding and a 10 minute footwalk from the riverside where you find the famous port wine cellars. We very much enjoyed our time at Porto and had a great vacation.

Great location right beside the main market that is open every day except Sunday. Bright and sunny as it is right on the corner of the building. Highly recommend this property.

The place was one staircase up from the elevator but stairs were easy to navigate. The place is very modern with two patios that were very private. Jessica was very helpful and responsive. Was in a good location and enjoyed our stay in Porto.

Much more than a very nice accommodation, Sonia gives all the tips and good addresses to spend a wonderful stay. It contains everything you need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. Great!! Recommended.

We had a great extended stay at Joaquim's aparment. It is well-furnished and comfortable, and in a great location. There is a quiet green space, well-kept, across the street, leading to a major mall and soccer stadium. Worked well for us! Thanks Joaquim!

Very spacious and clean unit, friendly hosts, Porto was much better than I expected, beats Lisbon. 100% walkable to tourists attractions, great restaurants, stores, markets and so on. I would have loved to spend more time there.

Miguel’s place is perfect if you are exploring Porto and have a car. There is plenty of parking and the city center is easily accessible. The space itself is quiet, clean and comfortable. Miguel is very responsive and incredibly helpful!
