Excellent airbnb! Great location, very clean and had everything that we needed for our short stay.

Arna’s place was lovely and my boyfriend and I had a great stay! The location could not be better, a quick walk from the church (Bus stop #8), which was the center of the NYE celebrations and where the airport bus dropped us off. All of the bars and restaurants were also a quick walk away. Price was extremely reasonable compared to the hotels we looked at! Overall a great find!

Why pay for a high-priced downtown hotel? This AirBnB has an equally excellent location and much more space. A Tour Bus stop is four minutes away and Harpa, the cruise shuttle terminus, only slightly farther. Septuagenarians (including me) might have trouble navigating the narrow, turning, 14-step staircase but this was truly problematic only when we had to move our luggage, including a checked bag, in and out. Having "crossed Iceland off the list" I might not return, but would certainly check to see if this were available if I did.

We were delighted that her apartment was so relaxing and pretty. Being on the first floor was a big help to us. So nice to look out from the kitchen window at the sweet backyard. The best part was Moli. I fell in love with him! He’s so sweet and adorable. It was fun to take care of him for the days we were there.

We had a great stay at Unnur's apartment. It was a perfect base for our adventures around Reykjavik. The location was very close to downtown (10min drive), walking distance to the Sky Lagoon (highly recommended) and having free parking was a lovely amenity. The apartment itself was lovely - bright, clean and well appointed - and the host, Unnur was excellent - very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice quiet location just outside of the city centre.

What an absolutely wonderful Airbnb experience. The apartment was beautiful and super-clean, and the view was stunning! We loved looking out the window at the ocean in the evenings, and we took a lovely walk along the seafront one morning. We took day trips to the Golden Circle and the Snaefellsnes peninsula, and we were an easy drive from Reykjavik. Best of all, Salvor Lilja and her husband were amazing hosts. We enjoyed a sunset soak in the hot tub, and they very kindly provided a selection of beverages and Icelandic treats. They also very thoughtfully left the apartment stocked with amenities like coffee, tea, milk, beer, wine and chocolates. We would highly recommend to anyone!

I highly recommend this apartment as a home base for visiting Reykjavik and the surrounding area. The location is great for walking out the door into the thick of the city center. Meanwhile, the easy and free parking is convenient to stow the rental car needed for day trips into the countryside. Our host was responsive and helpful. The building is secure and felt safe.

Location for the apartment is great it’s only a 10/15 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants that we needed to get to as well as being just round the corner from where all the tours pick you up from. Nice and clean too and had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay :)

Birna’s place was such a cozy and welcoming spot! The location is perfect — just a short walk to a fantastic bakery and a grocery store, which made everything super convenient. The space was clean, comfortable, and had a really nice vibe. Plus, it comes with its own parking spot. I’d absolutely recommend staying here!

This was a great value for us. Really a nice size with plenty of room for the four of us. I had some questions while there and they were answered very quickly. We also got some great recommendations before our arrival from Amos, very friendly and helpful. The free parking was a plus but we did find that if you arrive later in the day/evening, you will likely have problems finding anything close. Would still definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a nice place near town.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a great amount of space for our family to spread out after so much plane and car time. Comfy couch, lots of table space, free of clutter, soft beds, nice bathroom, kind host, close to grocery store, it was just what we needed and a good price.

Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Es war für uns der letzte Stopp unserer Winterreise und die Gemütlichkeit der Unterkunft hätte uns fast nicht mehr nach Hause fliegen lassen. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und das einfache Leben durch die unmengen an Gewürzen, Tees, Kaffee hat das entspannte Erlebnis abgerundet. Man sollte keine Schwierigkeiten mit (wenn auch kurzen) steilen Treppen haben. Für uns eine ganz klare 10/10! Wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Island reisen. It’s cozy apartment! The rooms are clean and the location is good. If you’re looking for a place near the city centre, it is a good option.

I cannot recommend this condo enough. This was a great place right outside of Reykjavík that allowed us to quickly go into town and provided a great jumping off point for our tours. The condo was welcoming and very clean - it is exactly how the photos and description describe it. The amenities were great, and the laundry was wonderful after long days. Also, Hannes was a phenomenal host. He allowed us to check in early because of an early morning flight, and was extremely responsive to any question I had. I cannot wait to return and rebook this condo. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Hannes for your hospitality!

We loved our stay. Hosts were quick and helpful in their responses. They left us some chocolates and champagne for our anniversary. The space was clean and more spacious than we originally thought, private and we felt right at home. My wife was sad we left! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Perfect location in the heart of Reykjavik! Cozy, quiet and well-equipped apartment (Hrafnhildur even organized a microwave when we asked for it) with lots of interesting artwork and a great view. It is on the fourth floor (or third, as in Iceland the ground floor is counted as the first floor) with no elevator. Communication with Hrafnhildur was very easy and she was very accommodating regarding our late check-in and check-out. We really enjoyed our stay!

Just had a brilliant stay at Óli's apartment, highly recommend it for anyone visiting Reykjavik! The location is great, a peaceful neighbourhood with an easy 15 minute walk into Downtown areas, the harbour and to the bus station for tours/the airport bus. There's also a great little supermarket just on the corner which was super handy for picking bits up. The apartment itself is really cool, a really unique architectural style, and full of character (we loved the lego 'street' on the shelf!). It really feels like a home from home, perfect to relax in after a long day exploring. The kitchen is really well stocked too, which is great for preparing meals some nights to help the budget. Óli was a great host, really proactive with information and recommendations for things to do/restaurants, and always super helpful and quick to respond with questions we had. Would definitely book here again if we go back to Reykjavik!

Amazing amenities and location (quiet and residential but close to center!), and very good communication from Konni, even while he was traveling overseas. The neighborhood and neighbors are also very nice. Altogether great experience when traveling with friends or family!

Séjour impeccable chez Agust. L’emplacement de la ville de Kópavogur, aux portes de Reykjavik et au bord de la voie rapide pour aller visiter le reste du pays, était parfait. Le studio loué par Agust est d’une grande qualité, tant en termes d’équipements que de propreté. Exactement ce qu’on peut attendre pour un voyage de ce genre. Agust a toujours voulu s’assurer par messages que tout allait bien pour moi, il m’a conseillé sur la météo et il m’a même été d’un grand secours lorsque je me suis retrouvé bloqué dehors en pyjama parce que j’avais laissé la clé à l’intérieur. Heureusement, il était présent dans sa maison juste à côté et a un double des clés. 😅 Une mention pour la carte de piscine qu’il offre à ses hôtes. Le complexe aquatique et sportif (deux salles) est à deux pas de l’appartement, j’en ai profité deux fois et j’étais ravi.
