Holiday rentals with a kayak in Seabrook Island

Thank you for sharing your unique little slice of the Low Country with us at the “Riverhouse Retreat on the Edisto. This well equipped property has everything you could want, including a wonderful river view, to make for an enjoyable stay. We found, nearby, the Cottageville Good Eats to be a great local restaurant with sandwiches, pizza and a fun Karaoke night. We were left a delicious Quiche, Applesauce Spice Bread and the special treat for our dog. Also, fresh eggs which made for a great breakfast. The hospitality and communication from our host found at “Riverhouse Retreat” will spoil you as it is far above what you will find at most other AirBnB’s.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Froggy Cottage, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! my son and I were attending his friends wedding. This charming Airbnb comfortably accommodates four, though we initially booked for three— my son and I learned that some of his friends that were young adults who were also attending the wedding, were stuck in a dreadful hotel, As a mother, I couldn’t leave them there. I contacted the host, and their kindness and flexibility shone through—they graciously allowed our guests to stay with us without charging extra. We made it work seamlessly, and their understanding made all the difference. The cottage itself is adorable, safe, very clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. While the rain kept us from enjoying the inviting outdoor fire pit, we did get little glimpses of Sun letting us sit outside for a few minutes. The outside is beautiful. I would return again in a heartbeat.

This was a great rental house for my family of 5, plus my parents. The house was spacious with high ceilings, large rooms, and lots of space to spread out. There are several bedrooms and each one has it's own full bath, which is helpful when there are so many visits to the beach! The only constructive feedback is that the house does not include any beach items, so you must bring everything or rent on the island. I wasn't able to use the discount for the rentals, but it was still fun to have chairs, boogy boards, and sand toys. The island has a lot to offer with a beautiful beach and great biking trails. The cost to rent this house is high, but it was a great rental.

We stayed here with 2 families (5 kids and 4 adults). The layout of the home was absolutely perfect. Beautiful home that is even better than the pictures. The pool was great for our family too with an amazing outdoor space. Easy walk to the beach and it was great the had a wagon and some beach chairs. Each room of the home had an en suite which is so nice for groups. Lovely 3 season porch. Kitchen very well appointed and very easy to cook every day. Amy was very responsive - even though the only time we had to contact her was to ask for a late checkout. 10/10 experience here, couldn’t recommend more. We will be back!

Outstanding. The home is beautiful and comfortable. Very spacious with great outdoor areas to enjoy. The photos match up perfectly. The neighborhood is quiet. We didn’t use everything available to us but loved to dock and the porches and decks. We enjoyed the area very much and would definitely book this AirBNB again. The owners are very responsive and want you to enjoy the stay. We appreciated the use of the elevator in the home for luggage and our dog’s crate—made it so easy to get settled.

We loved our stay here. The decor in the house is so fun, and the property is just absolutely gorgeous. We would absolutely stay here again!

Are you planning on visiting Charleston? You just found the perfect place to stay. Located in between downtown and Folly Beach, this is ideal. Get out and explore the area and return to relax, unwind, and rest. This amazing place is just like the photos depict. Very neat and clean. The host is responsive and you will not be disappointed.

What a great place! The pictures do it justice but when you get there it is even better. The home is beautiful and there is much attention to detail paid to the design. We also loved the fact that you could actually cook a meal there. Kitchen is stocked and the home feels lived in, which is great change of pace from investor Airbnbs that don’t have anything you need to cook a meal. Allison was super responsive and great to work with. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay again. Nothing but great things to say, 10/10!

What a hidden gem! The chickens totally stole the show, seriously, they were like little feathered roommates and made the whole stay even more memorable. The vibe here was unbeatable, peaceful, cozy, and just the right kind of quirky. We’re so glad we picked this spot instead of something closer to the beach. If you’re looking for a fun, laid-back escape with some bonus clucks, this is it. The host was also very responsive & super kind. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all, this is it! Sunsets are amazing. It is perfect for stargazing. And the silence seeps into your soul. We left rejuvenated. Her place was perfect for the 2 of us. I would stay here monthly if I could! Ps. I highly recommend getting some shrimp & oysters (if you come in the ‘R’ months) at Flowers on Hwy 174 heading to Edisto Beach.

Greetings. What a wonderful visit. The location is outstanding. The cottage and surroundings are amazing. The weekend met all of our expectations plus, a really fun adventure. Thanks to our hosts, Pam and Ollie.

Had a great time over the weekend that me and my girlfriend stayed. The river was beautiful and the property was very peaceful. Janie and Lucy (her dog) are really nice and even gave us some suggestions of things to see around the area. Definitely could see myself planning another trip here and recommending it to friends
