Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well-equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Peaceful rural area with some nice walks and local wildlife around. The pool and jacuzzi were also super clean and a great addition. Highly recommended!

I went with 12 family members and pictures don’t do justice to this fantastic spot! Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Very peaceful surroundings so many things to do inside and outside the lodge. Alan was really really helpful answered pretty much straightaway to every message I sent. Not a single cobweb in sight around the whole lodge and this place is huge! All the facilities and amenities you need are located within the house.

We used the house as a base for our motorcycle touring holiday and it was fantastic. We had everything we needed and absolutely no issues or concerns throughout our stay. Definitely worth the money and the location and parking couldn't have been better.

I really love this cosy, private and beautiful cottage. I have stayed here a few times now for work and pleasure and it’s an ideal spot for both. I get such good nights’ sleep and the bird song is delightful. Everywhere is so green! The cottage itself has everything you need in it and it’s warm and cosy too. It’s a unique setting with a very special extra, where you can swim in their private pool if you wish. Thank you again for being really friendly and accommodating hosts. I’ll be back ! Or rather we will be- Matilda and Brown dog 😊🐾

The park itself is a 1 way system and the caravan was quite high up. However we stopped to speak to groundsmen on site who straight away said follow me I’ll take you to the caravan. All staff were lovely. The caravan was as described. Very homely and modern. The outdoor space is amazing with lovely rattan furniture and hot tub. We used the hot tub everyday and it’s big enough for 6 people. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side all week so we didn’t dine outside. However I would definitely return. We had a slight issue with heating the first night. Lisa was back and forth messaging and said she would contact staff at reception to rectify the next day. However this was sorted over text in the end. An amazing stay, great views across the water. It was beautiful x

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

Amazing cottage that is well equipped with everything you would need. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the additional access to the facilities in the Abbey is such a delight. Everything is close by and for outdoor adventures you cannot have a better base. We loved it!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at StoneHous! The location is spectacular - peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind. We really appreciated the huge basket of logs, making for cosy nights in front of the wood burner. The essentials were all clean and in good working order, and it was easy to settle in and feel at home. Overall, a lovely place in a stunning setting.

Fantastic hosts with a great welcome, fresh flowers everywhere and a visit from Sara to see if we were OK. The house is amazing with so many great features but the views of the Summer Isles and beyond are simply stunning. Very comfortable house with everything you need.

I can’t recommend this place enough, it was absolutely beautiful. The cottage itself was somewhere I could have just moved into! And location was great, short walk to high street and a lovely gastro pub. Lesley was welcoming, friendly and a wealth of knowledge. And the cottage itself was maintained to a super high standard and with everything you could possibly want. My only one complaint is that we didn’t book to stay here longer! My husband and I have stayed at Airbnb's all over the world and Linda's family crofting cottage is easily either the best or second best one we've ever had the pleasure to stay in. The cottage is adequately sized for two people, extremely clean (even to my detail-oriented and occasionally picky eyes), and all provided amenities (bathroom supplies, kitchenware) are thoughtfully placed. Scotland has such rich and interesting history and the highlands are breathtaking - it was so nice having such a direct view of the loch from just the living room. Bonus: there are some sheep in the back field (I believe belongs to the owners?)

This was a great holiday for us. The house was everything we expected. The views and the weather wonderful. It is remote as described. We didn't have a car as holiday makers can't take a car to the island but used bikes (one brought with us, one hired on Eigg) to get about and collect extra shopping. It was a haven for walkers. Peaceful, quiet, spectacular scenery, wonderful wild flowers and birds including eagles.

We had a fantastic stay with our family to celebrate my partners 30th, the accommodation and area was super peaceful and beautiful just what we were looking for. The host added some special touches, would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet cosy get away.

Great location. Campsite was not an issue despite proximity. Great weather allowed lots of exploration. Building site next door was at times noisy but not a big issue. House was well-equipped and comfortable. Beach towels and something to sit on at beach would be helpful. Overall a most enjoyable and memorable holiday.

We can't say enough about Mel, our host. He is a SUPER, Super host. He met us at the house, explained all the nuances of running the appliances, coffee maker, etc. I have stayed in many AirBnb's, and this was the most well stocked home yet; bread, coffee, snacks,OJ, Milk, lots of spices, and just about everything to get you started. The view from the porch is stunning. The house was immaculate in cleanliness and decorating. An added bonus; the hotter. Just can't say enough. I highly recommend this property. Janice

Wir waren eine Woche im Mai bei Catherine im East Craig house, bei Super wetter genossen wir die super ruhige und entspannte Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, bei unseren täglichen Trips durch Schottland genossen wir am Abend die wunderschöne Atmosphere direkt am See. Catherine war jederzeit ereichbar und informierte uns über Ereignisse in der Gegend. Das Haus war sehr sauber und war mit allem was mann benötigt ausgestattet. Wer Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe für sich vernab des Touristentrubbels sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

We stayed in this house as a party of five (parents + two teenagers + grandpa), and found the house perfectly laid out for a group. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, which was so convenient, and the living area and kitchen had plenty of seating for us to congregate around. The washer and dryer were super helpful for doing laundry (a rack and small fans are provided too, to finish off any clothes still damp from the condensation dryer). We didn't do any super complicated cooking, but the cooking we did was easy with the double oven, stovetop, and dishwasher. The view is unbeatable. Like just something from a postcard. We'd sit down in the morning and mean to turn something on the TV and end up staring out the window instead. We were there during a blustery GALE and the house was still completely airtight and snug, no drafts or anything. Uig is a bit more far-flung (although it has a couple restaurants and a shop), so be sure to plan for groceries and drives accordingly.

Beautiful spot with gorgeous views from the house. A great location if you want to explore both mainland and Isle of Skye. The house was clean and very well equipped. Great to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the view of the valley and the estuary and watch all the birds. We recommend the walk up to the top of the mountain summit opposite the house!

We had a lovely stay, making the most of the fantastic area despite the changeable weather! Thank you Victoria and Ewan for providing such a comfortable place for us to stay. It was immaculate and just as described. The bed and shower were top notch! It was lovely to arrive and find home-made bread, which was delicious, and it was helpful to have the other basic essentials provided. Everything we needed for our short stay.

Very comfy, well equipped, perfect for 2 people. Spectacular views, variety of birds amazing, especially the increasingly rare cuckoo. Partial aurora at night and family of otters having breakfast just out from the cottage. Hot sunny week, couldn't be bettered.

Beautifully done. Comfortable beds, walkable, and having parking is a huge plus.
