Rachel's place was a very peaceful quiet place of rest for me and my husband. We were in Ithaca for his late sister's celebration of life. We were greeted with a still warm loaf of bread and farm fresh eggs which I think is a very nice homey touch. We didn't do any cooking of meals the two nights we were there, but from what we could see, it was well stocked with all the necessities for anyone who wishes to cook their own meals. The grounds were beautiful and well kept and the place was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We got to meet Bodhi who was absolutely precious and very well behaved. If we ever have the opportunity to come back to Ithaca, we would definitely pick Rachel's place.

I enjoyed a week at Sher’s place. Everything is as described. The garden area is a very peaceful place to sit and relax. Sher herself goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. She even did my laundry due to an issue with the washing machine. Highly recommend as a place to stay.

The neighborhood is beautiful and the location is close enough to walk to Market Street. The layout is perfect for multiple guests and the views from upstairs are amazing. This was our third visit and can’t wait to come back.

This lovely place was so perfect for my son and I. We loved the living room which felt like our home. The beds were comfy and the rooms cozy. We would definitely return if we are in the area! On Sunday morning before check out, I sat on the sunny porch with my tea. It was so peaceful and lovely. Thank you Karen for your good communication and for the sweet easy-going space.

Great price for a great place. Hosts were responsive and friendly. House was exactly as pictured and described. Would definitely recommend and will likely be back next time I'm in the Fingerlakes!

I really enjoyed staying at Anna's place for the last couple weeks. She was very friendly and I enjoyed the quiet location and peaceful back yard. I also really enjoyed taking runs on the quiet nearby roads passing by cornfields and farms.

We enjoyed our stay. Erika and Jeremy went out of their way to make sure we felt at home and comfortable. Erika's granola was amazing, and Jeremy's coffee satisfied my husband's coffee needs. My husband is a coffee connoisseur, so he recognized a great cup of coffee! Jeremy knows his stuff when it comes to coffee. The location of this place worked perfectly for us. We spent our days at wineries and restaurants, returning to sleep at night and then head out again in the morning. The location allowed us easy access to all the sights we wished to visit, and Erika and Jeremy's restaurant recommendations were spot on.

Monica’s Airbnb property is amazing! The accommodations are clean and comfortable, and the scenery around the property is peaceful and beautiful. More importantly, Monica is an amazing host who communicates clearly and is available to provide helpful local recommendations. Monica’s Airbnb is one that I will definitely keep in mind for future trips.

We had a great stay with our two friends and their infant at Michele's place. The place was clean and private and we had access to the dock, floats, and paddleboards down by the water. We weren't able to swim much (due to mother nature and by no fault of the host) but had a great time lounging on the dock at the lake. The house is also so close to a lot of great wineries and some breweries in the area all with beautiful views. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. Overall it was a really lovely stay and we would definitely come back!

We felt very welcome. We talked and interacted. The place was clean and bright. The area was very peaceful. Beautiful deck and a grill if you wanted. The room was designed with the comforts of home. There was wine, books, local attractions. The bathroom was stocked with all necessities. The location was great and easy to access different locations in Ithaca. Very close to Cornell Jack and Kat where great hosts. Knowledgeable and kind. They were a wealth of information. I would definitely stay again - When I return for another visit

Dave and Sandy are lovely hosts. They’re warm, hospitable, and very responsive! The place is set in a beautiful backdrop of lush nature and trees, and Dave has plenty of interesting things around that are worth discussing and learning about! This was our second time staying with them, and we really enjoyed our stay with great hosts who love hosting and interacting with their guests. We highly recommend visiting!

Beautiful lakeside property with excellent views, highly reccomend

Sumei and her husband George were incredibly nice and communicative. No matter what hour of the day or night they responded immediately. Lots of closet space, bed was comfy, temperature controls were easily acceptable. Lovely neighborhood and very private. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again when we are back in Ithaca. It's an 18 minute drive to Cornell campus for those going to see their kids at school.

We had a great stay! We stayed up late into the night just being together in this comfortable, fun space. Coffee in the morning with that view was fantastic.

This was our first experience with an Airbnb and it was a great experience! Spent a lovely weekend at Josh's beautiful apartment...with all the comforts of home. We didn't spend much time there however, when we were there, we had everything we needed...comfortable bed, hot shower and coffee in the morning. When we arrived Friday evening, Josh was just arriving home so we had the pleasure of meeting him and visiting for a few minutes. h He is a very nice and friendly young man :-) I must admit, I am not tech savvy, and operating the TV was a challenge as I am not familiar with Roku and don't often watch Netflix or Amazon, but I eventually figured it out (kinda!) Thanks Josh, for the warm welcome and comfortable accommodations. We will definitely be back!

This was THE best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my fair share of Airbnb experiences. Super easy to find & get in. Everything was clean and fresh, and the place smelled AMAZING! The decor was incredible! There was so much attention to detail. They even had a fan up and running which was great because my partner becomes a furnace when he’s sleeping. They put so much care into this place and offer the best of the best. All the products they offer (like bathroom toiletries) are top notch. We had everything we needed! The bed was also very comfy. The backyard is incredible! It’s like its own mini retreat. So many seating options, not to mention the lovely hot tub! They asked us what we were interested in and offered us some recommendations, which we appreciated. The hosts were SUPER responsive and quick to address any issues! Honestly I don’t know what more we could have asked for, we had the perfect experience - my only regret is we forgot to sign the guest book!

This is a wonderful lakeside cabin. The yard is well landscaped and provides excellent privacy from the road and neighbors. The area is gorgeous, a short half mile walk from Long Point Park and also a nice walk from Aurora Brewing Company and Long Point Winery. The long bedroom off the kitchen provides a wonderful view of the lake through giant windows along one wall and a door right out to the deck. The bathroom off of this bedroom is very nicely designed as well, though note the water pressure is somewhat low in the shower. The other full bath had fine water pressure. The living room again has wonderful lake views with a sliding door out to the deck. Kayaks are provided and it is a lovely short kayak trip over to Long Point Park, just under 3 miles one way to kayak north to the Wells College boathouse, and about 2.25 miles across the lake to Thirsty Owl and Cayuga Ridge wineries. A gas grill and a charcoal grill are also available for some outdoor cooking. Brett’s father owns this cabin and he met us at the property for checkin, showed us around the cabin and property and gave us all of the information we needed. Brett handles communication through the airbnb app and he responds to questions very quickly. The cabin is not super fancy (hence cabin) but everything was clean and we didn’t see any insects of any kind inside. I would absolutely rent this cabin again for another weekend on the lake!

This is a new favorite. So cute with everything we needed and so much more that we wouldn’t have thought to ask for. It’s so close to the downtown Corning with so much more than one fabulous museum. Angela was quick to answer any questions we had. There were no problems to fix. It was comfortable and easy to figure everything out but there were clear instructions for everything. I wouldn’t have looked for a fireplace but we got caught in a rain storm and it was so cozy. I love a place with snacks out incase we’re peckish upon arrival. The “This must be the place” sign was priceless!! I have long hair so the upscale shampoo and conditioner were appreciated. I didn’t get to look at the event space but I want to find the prices for it, other than a wedding, as the whole area is lovely.

We came to Ithaca for a peaceful stay away from our busy farm. The neighborhood is quiet, there was a great place for our morning bike ride (pastoral and not too hilly), it was close enough to Ithaca for shopping and restaurants, and yet not so vertically challenged as lots of closer-in Ithaca neighborhoods. There is a dedicated parking space for visitors, so no worries about finding a place to park. I asked for some special accommodations - a roasting pan for a chicken (Thrupton gave us one still in a box) and a table to work jigsaw puzzles (Thrupton gave us a folding table that worked great). The bed was very comfortable, and we could sleep with the windows open, looking out on the woods. We took a lovely walk at the nearby Sapsucker Woods, Cornell's lab of ornithology. Just a perfect three-day mid-week break.

My husband and I were traveling from Wisconsin to Rhode Island, and we needed a place to stay for the night. I looked into area motels, and David and Dorothy’s place was less expensive. The room is above their garage and private. There’s no kitchen, only a small fridge and dishes, but we had access to a gas grill to cook steaks. It was easy to get to and about 3 miles from the interstate, so a perfect respite for weary travelers!

Walter is a kind and thoughtful host! His suite is perfect for a small family with 2–3 adults, a young child, and even a pet. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly child-friendly. For our toddler (1–3 years), Walter provided a crib, unbreakable dinnerware, all kinds of cups, a high chair, and a booster seat. He even went the extra mile to babyproof all the outlets, which gave us great peace of mind. As someone who usually overpacks for baby travel, I was pleasantly surprised to find almost everything we needed already provided. (If you’re traveling with a baby under 1, you might still want to bring a bottle warmer, but otherwise, it’s all here!) We also brought our dog, and Walter had thoughtfully prepared pet essentials—pee pads, bowls, a leash, and waste bags. Both our little ones—human and canine—were very comfortable here. Highly recommend this stay, especially for families traveling with young children and pets. It truly felt like a home away from home!

Great place, completely as advertised and terrific hosts. Very, very quiet, yet very easy to get to town. The next western Finger Lakes trip we make, we will try to stay in Jill's place.

Spacious, clean and well stocked Airbnb. Beautiful and peaceful property and outdoor area. It was perfect for our long weekend in Ithaca.
