What a lovely stay! The room was cozy, everything super neat and organized and the breakfast was fantastic. It was a full house, but so organized that things ran very smoothly. We had been looking to spend a little less, but it was worth the value for sure. Very convenient to Ithaca, where our son is a sophomore. Dodie gave us a map and visitors guide, which helped us explore the area. Would definitely book again!

We enjoyed our stay there were many amenities that aren’t typical of air bnb any more, brought me back to some of my favorite stays made so much easier because of all the convenient touches, everything you need is right there, I’d forgotten a couple things while packing for a short trip and Melissa had them right there without even having to ask!

This hidden gem boasts beautiful surroundings, creating a quiet and safe haven for travelers. Eileen, a wonderful and sweet host, makes your stay truly memorable.

This is our 3rd year staying with Myron. He is a wonderful host with great spacious rooms. We look forward to staying here again next year. Thanks Myron!

If i could give more than 5 stars I’d give more. Easily 500 star worthy. Great hospitality and very responsive. Felt comfortable and well worth it.

What a beautiful place! And the owner was so kind. Breakfast was really special — both the food and the communal seating were magical. She also made me lactose-free alternatives that were really impressive. Can’t recommend enough.

You’ve probably read about the breakfast from others, but it’s truly the best breakfast I’ve had in years. We had the pancakes, breakfast sandwich and ricotta toast and they were ALL incredible. Not to mention her baked goods. But onto the room: the BnB was the epitome of peace. I often get nervous as your experience can be greatly ruined by your neighbors in a BnB but the room was private, spacious and it seemed like everyone had their privacy despite all being on the same floor. The room was absolutely spotless; bed comfortable and warm, bathroom shower pressure amazing, curtains that block out light and thoughtful touches throughout. We spent a few nights sleeping away and waiting until it was time for breakfast! Kudos to the couple who owns this space. They are both hospitable, sweet and made the experience that much better. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

At the time of our booking, we were slightly apprehensive as the listing only had 19 reviews... but don't sleep on this spot. Willenaway Bed and Breakfast is a comfortable and quiet yet surprisingly well located spot within 30 minutes of all the major hikes/waterfalls in the Finger Lakes and a 10 minute drive from the town of Watkins Glen. Kate is an amazing hostess who has tastefully curated a well-loved, historic family home into an amazing Bed and Breakfast featuring some amazing touches of the past including original tunnels from the Underground Railroad as well as some of the original house furniture/pianos! We looked forward to the breakfast she and her mother created every morning which they even graciously packaged up for us for later consumption when we trekked out early in the morning missing the usual breakfast time. We loved our stay in the View from the Top room and will definitely be back next year!

Ashley and Dave ( and Hudson, too!) were so helpful from the get go. Immediately after booking Ashley reached out and checked in on our plans for our visit. As the date approached, she offered additional amenities and so many amazing recommendations for the area. It was super easy to find and their welcome was friendly and helpful. There were many specialty features (coffee and drink bar, snack closet, game room, complementary breakfast made or order the night before - it was so dang tasty! The baked apple was superb) … amenities you just don’t get at our hotel or typical Airbnb experience that really made the weekend special. They even gave us a sweet treat upon arrive knowing it was our anniversary weekend ❤️ Ashley and Dave’s place is really special and worth the vist! We felt right at home. 10/10 will stay again when we come back to Seneca Lake.

We had the most wonderful stay at Rose’s Inn at Gothic Eves! The inn, its rooms and gardens have so much character and beauty but Rose is the main reason for our rave review. Rose is incredibly welcoming and warm with tons of knowledge and suggestions of local wineries, farms, creameries, and restaurants. I am a creature of habit and need my cup of coffee first thing in the morning. Rose had hot coffee waiting each morning for me and then we had the most amazing breakfast to follow: from brioche French toast one day to omelettes with vegetables from Rose’s garden and local meats and cheeses the next. The inn is well situated to many attractions and will not disappoint. Best stay in the finger lakes!

Everything was perfect! It was a much needed weekend away for some R&R and wine tour. The location was great because it’s right between Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake. The room was sparkling clean and everything down to the smallest details were taken care of. The gourmet breakfast were delicious! I love the personal touches of fresh baked goods every evening for snack. Cannot wait to return!!!

The Burdett house was perfect for a weekend getaway. Close to Watkins Glen and the Seneca Wine trail, there was plenty to do. Ashley and David were extremely friendly and provided perfect recommendations for restaurants and wineries. They also served a delicious breakfast each morning and provided excellent service. The room was comfy and matched the photos perfectly. I would definitely recommend staying at the Burdett house!

Excellent location! The room was very spacious, clean, and modern. It included a large tv, gas fireplace, and mini cooler. The bathroom has a huge soaking tub. The shower is super tall which was perfect for my husband. The balcony off the room had amazing views of Seneca Lake. The food and Beer at Grist Iron was delicious, we received a couple of tokens for free drinks at the brewery. We loved this place so much, it's going to be our new go to spot on Seneca.

This was a perfect and quintessential Upstate NY bed and breakfast type lodging. The bed was more comfortable than our one at home and the room was clean and spacious. Virginia was an incredible host, always responding promptly and making herself available for anything through our stay. The location is very close Taughannock Falls and only about a 3 minute drive from Trumansburg restaurants and 15-20 into Ithaca. We would love to stay again and our only gripe might be not getting to see Virginia’s adorable dog, Maggie more ☺️

I don’t give five star reviews much, but this place gets one. I loved this inn. Everything was so clean, comfortable, and convenient. I stayed for two nights while visiting family in the area. Virginia the owner took time to make sure the little things were there to make your stay comfortable. I enjoyed having all-day access to coffee, snacks, and a refrigerator. The breakfast was perfect in the morning - cereal, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, and coffee. She even had almond milk! The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The walls were a little thin, but there were house rules about the noise level, so it was fine once it was bedtime. Virginia made sure to put an extension chord near the bed so you could plug in your phone. Virginia was also very nice to talk to. She was helpful. I will definitely stay here next time I visit the area!

Beautiful place and friendly hosts!

We stayed in a room at 16 Elm for our anniversary. The room and house were exactly as described - beautiful, clean, and quiet. The location was great, perfect for walking to get a cup of coffee in the morning. It was convenient to the wineries, Taughannock Falls, and Ithaca. We took advantage of many of Jes' suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We would definitely come back here and highly recommend 16 Elm to anyone looking for a romantic retreat in the beautiful Finger Lakes!

Our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. And the bathroom was even beautiful with the antique exposed brick. The inn’s setting is absolutely gorgeous; so peaceful, but yet only minutes away from all Ithaca has to offer. We attended an event in their fabulous barn venue as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better long weekend away. Beautiful! We took a short ride into town, enjoyed a walk at the lake and the farmer’s market. Back in the evening we enjoyed the swing, a walk around the grounds and a visit at the fire pit by the rustling creek to polish off the night. Our food was delicious too, especially breakfast on the weekend. A definite highlight. Hope to return again soon. - M&M

Kathy was incredibly flexible and responsive as our travel plans changed a little bit! We are grateful for that and her welcoming space during our daughter's college graduation weekend!

Madeline was so great, especially with our last minute change to dates. Stayed during a stressful time, and found peace in the beautiful environment, room, and surroundings. The included breakfast was very nice, and it was a huge spread (delicious - fresh fruit, warm scones, fresh OJ!). Easy to find parking nearby (on premise parking as well). Would recommend to anyone coming in, and would definitely stay again!
