Lake house holiday rentals in Schönau am Königssee

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

A really great family getaway. The extremely spacious house is in an absolute premium location directly on Lake Mattsee. What a view. It's got everything you need. 2 bathrooms, kitchen with upscale amenities, pizza oven (Oh yeah! A real professional part!), BBQ in XXL format, sauna, fireplace, it's all there. Meganette, friendly and accommodating landlords. We'd love to come back anytime!! GREAT!!!

It was super nice, the location is perfect. A great view of the mountains in a very quiet residential area. We felt like we were all alone. For a break from the stressful and hectic everyday life, just recommended. There was nothing missing. The supermarket as well as the bakery were reachable in just a few minutes' walk. Jörg was a great host, although he was traveling at the time, he was always available for us. We can 100% recommend this home as well as the host. Thanks for the nice days.

Excellent stay in peaceful village surrounded with mountains. Turquoise water lake is in a short walking distance. Olesja and her husband were extremely friendly and hospitable and all information about local attractions were provided. Very pleasant stay! Definitely will return to Hintersee on my next visit! In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. The accommodation was very clean, stylishly furnished and located in a quiet and beautiful location – perfect for relaxing. Silvia is an extremely friendly and attentive hostess who took care of everything. As a surprise, there was even a small gift. We will be happy to come back!

Gut Achort is a very idyllic place. The property, the historic buildings and the garden are fantastic. We particularly liked the private lake access. You can relax wonderfully there because of the peace and quiet. The view is enchanting.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed it. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Rouven gave us lots of helpful tips of places to visit which made our holiday better. The location was excellent for visiting Salzburg and the surrounding lakes. There was loads of space at the property for a family of 4 and the garden was lovely.

Our family with two children (twelve and fourteen years old) spent a wonderful time in this beautiful house. The location is perfect, with grandiose views of Lake Pelhamer. We enjoyed the fantastic view every day. The house is very spacious and well furnished, the large windows guarantee a lot of natural light in every room. The kitchen is fully equiped and provides all the amenities (including fully automatic coffee machine). Contact with Andrea was straightforward. Many beautiful excursion destinations (including Lake Chiemsee, Rosenheim or Wasserburg am Inn) are in the nearby area. The lakes of the 7 lakeside plate are very nice for swimming. Our favorite was the Schloßsee. But here you can't be afraid of the trustworthy carp. The house is a wonderful place, which we are very happy to recommend.

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

Christoph's accommodation is immaculate and as described in the photos. Communication with Christoph was very easy, as was the check-in. Very nice accommodation in general :)

The communication with Sandra was wonderfully not to mention the really fantastic accommodation. We booked very spontaneously and yet everything worked out very well. Late check-in was possible, which is why we were already able to arrive at night. We were also very happy about the folder with activities in the area, because despite the unfortunately bad weather, we were able to make the most of the time. The house is very nicely built and well located - the treetop trail and summer toboggan run are a real recommendation. Also the walk-through room for us no problem, as the boys could sleep together as in a large room as in a large room and the girls downstairs had their own room.
