Old Gardener’s House – a waterside paradise

The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

In the middle of fields and Knicks, you will find a quiet spot on the edge of the field with panoramic views over the Baltic Sea, the Baltic Sea beach can be reached in 20 minutes by bike. A newly developed 14 m" large construction trailer with a bed (160), a small kitchenette and one seating inside/outside awaits you. The toilet and shower are located in another construction trailer next door. Fresh vegetables and eggs from our garden are available seasonally, as well as a folding bike :)

Garden happiness and country love await you at Regine's beautiful thatched cottage in the village of Bellin. Nature lovers are welcome and will feel comfortable here. Surrounded by meadows and forests, relaxation begins right outside the front door. Wonderful forest walks offer new discoveries every day. Fallow deer, sea eagles, bats and cranes are not uncommon. Lake Selenter with the best swimming quality borders directly on the village and the Baltic Sea can be reached quickly by car.

Quiet retreat with direct water access

This small cottage is wonderfully quietly located and therefore forms an ideal retreat. In addition to the excursion possibilities in Holstein Switzerland, the location on the water also offers an excellent starting point for boat tours. In the immediate vicinity is the Landgasthof Kasch and a dock for the "5-lake tour." A supermarket with Sunday opening is about 3 km away and there are various other shopping facilities, as well as restaurants, within a shorter driving distance.

Enjoy a renovated apartment of 150 m² with four separate bedrooms and high-quality box spring beds (usable as single or double beds) – ideal for large families or groups. After eventful days in the lake region of Holstein Switzerland, you can relax in the sauna on the balcony. The large dining area invites you to spend evenings together with raclette or a round of poker. In the house there is a bar that completes the day of vacation in a relaxed way. No parties in the apartment.

Our apartment is on the lower ground floor of an old building, is very bright and friendly and not stuffy due to the thick walls even on the hottest summer days. In the garden you can enjoy a wonderful sunny breakfast or end a nice day at the beach with a glass of wine. Our house is located on the edge of the forest between two lakes, each of which is approx. 5-7 minutes' walk, the city center is about 20 minutes' walk, the Baltic Sea is about 25 minutes by car.

The apartment is located in a former farmstead in the quiet district of Kreuzfeld, only a 20-minute drive from the Baltic Sea beach (Haffkrug, Scharbeutz). Surrounded by lakes, nature and attractive excursion destinations such as Hansa Park (20 min), Eutin (10 min) and Lübeck (45 min). The high-quality and cozy apartment is well equipped – ideal for relaxing holidays in all weather. There is a private outdoor area with a charcoal grill available.

Vacation home "Altes Torhaus" - Gut Kletkamp

The Gatehouse (Torhaus) in Kletkamp was built in 1775 and, along with the many other gatehouses in Schleswig-Holstein, is one of the most beautiful in the country. In addition to the generous living space of 200 m², the half of the house on the waterfront offers a wonderful view of the oldest manor house in the country. The nearest beach is only 11 km from the accommodation and offers bathing fun as well as cozy restaurants with Nordic dishes.
