Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

We love the atmosphere in Liekes cottage. For us, it means vacation from the first second, because everything just fits here! A beautiful, natural environment, a homely feeling in the fully equipped house with wonderful kitchen, great bathroom and cozy garden and a very courteous contact with Lieke. We feel completely comfortable here and will definitely come back! We couldn't imagine a more beautiful vacation! Simply wonderful and highly recommended! Thank you for everything and see you soon!

There were three of us with my cat and we all felt very comfortable! A lovingly furnished apartment in a perfect location. The bathroom is a bit small but serves its purpose. We will certainly come back again! Annette is a very nice hostess!

Super friendly and responsive host - great house with a lovely garden

With my friends, we spent the weekend at Petra. The place was just perfect!! The accommodation matches the photos perfectly, and it even looks bigger in real life than in the photos. Everything was very clean and the stay went very well, thank you again!!

A beautiful home immersed in nature and surrounded with friendly animals. We had a very peaceful stay and we felt very much at home. We will return!

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

I had a wonderful stay in Patricia's and Patrick's cottage. I was warmly welcomed and I immediately felt comfortable. Everything was super clean and even more beautiful than in the photos. I was able to walk in the area and enjoy the newly born bird-chicks in the birdhouse. Patrick and Patricia are always there to help you, even in the pouring rain. Thanks Patricia! I recommend this place 100%!

Nice stay at a beautiful park. Lots to do in the surrounding areas. Space is not big but has everything you need. The garden is wonderful and very large. Nice location with the dogs because the garden is completely fenced. For the teenagers, a nice boat, surfboard or the possibility of the indoor swimming pool. Had very nice days. Just remember to bring your own bedding😉

There were two of us. It was really very cozy, everything worked well and the kitchen was super equipped. We spent 6 beautiful days and quiet nights there. In the area you can take small walks, stroll along the water, even with a dog, The great beaches can be reached quickly by car and the A Seal seal sanctuary is also highly recommended. Nice hosts, It couldn't be better. We'll be back.

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, small accommodation right on the water. Rik also has chickens, a rabbit and a pig. The children particularly liked this. Since it is a tiny house, it is only suitable for small children/babies to a limited extent (ladders and steps cannot be secured). We had a lovely stay and would be happy to come back

We had a very nice time and were able to relax quickly thanks to the good accommodation. The equipment was great and we could use everything with two children without any problems.

Nice apartment. Wonderful beds. Nice roof terrace, for when the weather is nice. Pictures are as is. Otherwise, everything is great. Beach is a 10-minute walk away. Tram line to the center is on the corner. Ideal! We have enjoyed enormously!

Everything was fine. Anna responded quickly to questions. Location is ideal. very central and well connected. There are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Note: There was only one large duvet per bed. You might be able to offer two duvets here in the future.

We felt very comfortable. Our dog not only had her own pillow and bowls, but also dog biscuits! The hostess was extremely accommodating. The accommodation was equipped with everything your heart desires - even beyond! There was coffee, tea, .... Really a great place to stay. You can hear the trams at night, but that's perfectly okay. You can also get to everything on foot! There is great information, restaurant recommendations. & you can also have something delivered via Lieferando. Top location. We had a wonderful stay in this lovingly furnished cottage – it was even more beautiful than in the pictures! The decor is tasteful, cozy and designed with great attention to detail. Beautiful decorations and fresh flowers everywhere – you immediately feel welcome. For our children, it was a paradise: great toys, a dress-up box, craft materials - they were busy and overjoyed for hours. The location is also great: only about 10 minutes on foot to the beach. The hostess Anne was very friendly, the reception by Ruub warm and likeable – we felt comfortable from the first moment. We would come back anytime and can fully recommend the place!

Great location surrounded by beauty. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided local recommendations. Just enough distances from the city if you want to check out Amsterdam or the beach, both about 40-55 minute drive depending on traffic. House had everything we need. Great fenced yard with view of canal.

We were with 2 children and our dog in Lisette's great, clean and lovingly furnished accommodation. We felt right at home and had a lot to experience. For the children, it was an experience to sleep in the wooden bed and see the animals. Feeding the ducks was particularly enjoyable for them. Lisette's breakfast is very plentiful and beautifully arranged - as in Hotel :) All in all, it's a great place to stay - 15 minutes from a very nice beach! The restaurants in the vicinity are also very good and Naaldwijk is a pretty little town. We'd love to come back! Thank you!

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.
