Family-friendly holiday rentals in Schaffhausen

Joys Apartment is like time traveling, it’s originally 70/80ies but extremely well kept - everything is working perfectly despite being obviously heavily used over the years. It was also extremely clean, never seen auch a clean Airbnb before. There is a bar in the basement but 100% quit. What is not so quit are the neighbors that kept running through the staircase all night. But this can be different for every stay since this is a boarding house. The only downside I can think of is the sometimes slow and somehow random communication with Joy. It was not always easy to get a helpful answer right away. Nevertheless Joy was very nice and let us stay a bit longer on our departure day which helped us a lot. Thank you Joy! Until next time!

Great property for entertaining, and only a 10 minute drive into historic old Baden. A nice neighborhood, and walking distance to multiple groceries.

Had a great experience living in the studio for 2 months and everything was very well organised. The place is clean and new. The host is responsive and proactive. She even helped with my Wi-Fi situation in few minutes after sending my concern. I have had amazing time and will surely like to book the stay again.

The house had all the amenities. She left us chocolates, to make cheese fondue. It was very clean.

The location of this place was great! One stop with the tram ride to reach the heart of the city, and a block away from the lake. The apartment is high end and had really nice aroma which made the space even more inviting.

Everything is the best

Everything was great! In a safe, quiet neighborhood within walking distance of train service to central Zurich as it was in a nearby suburb. Only thing was it was rather pricey for what you were getting in comparison to other properties… on the contention you can find them.

We spent some very nice days at Roman's place. The reception was very warm and the apartment was super nice, cozy and clean. Thanks Roman for your communicative, nice manner. We will be happy to come back ;)

The apartment was great. Short walk to the lake and train. Short drive to the mountains. Everything we wanted. Perfect size for the three of us and a dog.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful villa in Gerlodswil, Switzerland, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. She was incredibly kind, supportive, and always available to ensure that our stay was perfect. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay, such a beautiful location and it had everything we wanted.

We loved our stay here. The house was incredible, as pictured with enough room for our party of 8 including 5 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. The ability to request a pack and play for infant and toys for my toddler was a game changer. The space was thoughtful and enough room for everyone to relax. The town is very quiet and sweet. You can easily walk to Migros and local restaurants. It was perfect for day trips to Thun, Lucerne, Bern, Zurich. It was the perfect landing spot for our group. Laundry is always a plus! Just a couple notes if you have kiddos and plan to do all public transportation, (not a big deal if you have a car but we didn't want to travel with car seats): the home is all tile throughout, not a lot of space to roll around if you have crawling babe etc. The house was absolutely walkable with a stroller from bus stations but don't follow google maps on the 345 bus stop, it'll take a shortcut up to the house that is all stairs. Take the 346 bus instead.
